Son of Poseidon
Hades was once again ordered to come to Olympus but when he saw no one was there besides Zeus and Poseidon he knew it wasn't good. "What now?"
"Ah Hades I was just telling Poseidon about Hercules's school." Zeus grinned.
"Of course you were" Hades rolled his eyes.
"Well I came to think, what each of our children went there?"
"What?!" Poseidon widened his eyes so did Hades.
"Ha, sorry big bro, but Carissa is fine being tomb schooled, least I know she's learning the important stuff." Hades said.
"And a school of fish is just fine for my son." Poseidon added.
"What's the harm in them giving it a try for the day?" Zeus asked.
"Cause I already know what Carissa's answer is gonna be." Hades answered before mumbling. "Believe me."
"And Triton belongs to the sea." Poseidon pointed out.
"One day that's an order." Zeus demanded making his two younger brothers groan.
The next day Zeus was standing by the school with Hercules. "So what's the big surprise." Hercules asked before Triton appeared in front of him. "Hi Hercules, remember me? Your cousin Triton, remember? Cousin Triton? Ring a bell?"
"Uh yeah." Hercules said as they shook hands.
"I DON'T WANNA GO! I DON'T WANNA GO!" Everyone turned to see Carissa was hanging on to a pillar while Hades pulled on her.
"It's just for a few hours dear." Hades grunted as he finally pulled her free and set her down next to her cousins.
"Hi Carissa! Remember me? Cousin Triton T R I."
Carissa's hair flamed up before she said. "Triton, shut up."
"Alrighty then." Triton smiled.
"Daddy, why am I being punished?" Carissa whined.
"Zeus's orders babe." Hades sighed.
"What?" Hercules looked up at his own father.
"I thought it would be good for your cousins to see what your school is all about, maybe they'd like it enough to stay." Zeus explained.
"Well I've seen it, so bye." Carissa waved about to leave but Hades grabbed her and pulled her back.
"I'm so ready for this!" Triton cheered excited before hooking Hercules and Carissa with his arms. "Won't this be great?! The children of the three top Gods all under the same roof."
"No." Carissa said.
"Well make a splash boy." Poseidon slapped Triton on the back. "Make me proud."
"I'm already proud of you princess, try not to send anyone to the hospital today though." Hades told Carissa.
"No promises." Carissa mumbled.
"That's my girl!"
As the three Gods disappeared the three cousins were now in front of the school with almost all the students and teachers looking at them.
"MIND YOUR BUSINESS MORTALS!" Carissa screamed at all of them while flaming up making everyone ran in fear. When everyone was gone she cooled down and sighed. "This is gonna be a long day."
"Tell me about it." Hercules agreed.
"I know and I can't wait!" Triton cheered.
"Well anyway, welcome to Prometheus Academy. I guess I'll introduce you to my friends." Hercules told his cousins before finding Icarus and Cassandra making a float.
"So which is scarier?" Icarus asked. "Dragon or cyclops?"
"Cyclops." Carissa answered from behind him making him jump and scream.
"Oh no! Run for you lives! It's the daughter of Hades!" Icarus screamed as he ran around in a circle.
"It's ok Icarus, my dad invited her." Hercules said.
"Oh Herc man, you're just in time to help us finish our float." Icarus said.
"Sorry Icarus, I have to show my cousins around." Hercules said. "Carissa, you remember Cassandra and Icarus?"
"How could I forget?" Carissa rolled her eyes as she watched Icarus try to stand on his head.
"I know Cassandra and Icarus to." Triton said excited again. "I know everything about my cousins."
"You do?" Carissa and Hercules said confused.
"I wanna be just like them well except for the scales, and the fins, and the gills. I breathe with gills see, who wants gum?" Triton said back.
"Look luck with him staying here Herc." Carissa chuckled.
"Anyway, this is our volcano float for tomorrow's homecoming parade." Icarus told them.
"It's homecoming already?" Carissa asked.
"Anyway, I'll introduce you two around." Hercules said as they continued their walk. "Carissa you know Adonis, you helped me save his life."
"Why did I do that again?" Carissa wondered.
"Who, what a big head." Triton said as he stared at the float of Adonis's face.
"Yeah, big float to." Carissa joked making Hercules chuckle.
"What better way to celebrate the joy of homecoming then with the joy of me." Adonis bragged.
"Gag me with a torch." Carissa mumbled as they continued.
Carissa saw Helen of Troy dressed like a mermaid for her float and some of the other students were pulling on her fake tail fins to help her get it off.
"Oh no! M.I.D!" Triton shouted.
"M.I.D?" Hercules asked him,
"Mermaid in distress!" Triton shouted as he ran over.
"No! Triton wait!" Hercules chased him.
Carissa grinned and sat down to watch. "Two cousins for the price of one."
"Demons! Look what you've done to her!" Triton shouted at the other students as he fought for Helen's tail fin only to slap Hercules in the face with it making Hercules bump into Helen's float trapping Helen into the giant clam she was sitting on.
"Help! Get me out!" Helen screamed in fear.
Hercules got her out right away and helped her out.
"A mermaid with legs?" Triton said fascinated. "I've heard stories about that. Oh lobster." Triton said taking a giant bite out of the lobster Carissa was sure was made of wax.
"He's eating my float." Helen said to Herc.
"I'm sorry, we were just leaving." Herc said dragging Triton away. Carissa chuckled and got up to follow them.
Herc took them to the lunch room next. Herc said something but Carissa wasn't listening, she was too busy watching Triton balance bowls on his head while standing on his hands.
"What are you doing?" Carissa asked.
"It's a little trick a dolphin taught me." Triton explained.
"You talk to dolphins?" Hercules said.
"Can't shut them up." Triton replied before sniffing. "Fishsticks! My fav!"
"Triton wait! You still got!"
Triton didn't hear Herc until after he slipped and the bowls went flying everywhere and one landed on Herc's head.
"Bowls on your head." Herc sighed.
During class Carissa fell asleep during a lecture while Triton was bouncing in his seat excited hearing the history of Athens. Herc tried to wake her up but she just waved him off until the teacher saw her and slammed a text book onto her desk making her wake up. "Cerberus ate my homework."
"Miss Carissa, I suggest you pay attention to my lesson."
"Why?" Carissa asked. "I already know all this garbage and you're more boring than watching this dad sit his giant rump on a cloud."
"Carissa." Herc said pulling her back.
"DA.." Carissa was about to scream for her dad but Hercules quickly covered her mouth and dragged her out.
"Sorry about her, I'll go take her to cool off." Herc apologized to the teacher before carrying Carissa out and Triton following them. That pretty much happened in every class till lunch time.
When Triton saw Adonis take other people's lunches he tried to stop him only Adonis pulled one of his nasty tricks and made Triton fall right onto Herc. "That's what you would have done, right Hercules?"
"Yep." Carissa agreed. "Pretty much, same result to."
Carissa waited for the boys outside their locker room until she heard Herc yell. "Triton! You don't swim in those!"
"Then what good are they?" He asked.
"Oh gross." Carissa gagged before walking away to look at the float. "I wanna go home." Then just like that her cousins flew right pass her and crashed right into someone else's floats.
"You know, I can see the family resemblance in them but you not so much." Adonis told her.
"My dad and I are the black sheeps of the family." Carissa explained.
Hercules sighed and walked over to her. "What am I gonna do Carissa? Triton wants to stay but he's such an embarrassment, a fish out of water, the world's biggest geek!"
Carissa put her hands on her hip and gave him a look. Triton might be annoying but he never gave her a real reason to think of him as less than family. "He's also right behind you."
Hercules gasped and turned to see Triton was standing right there. "Triton!"
Carissa sighed, she might be considered a villain but even seeing someone in tears makes her feel upset. "Nice job Herc, ya screwed up again." Carissa tried to catch up with Triton but he already dived into the ocean making her groan. "Knowing him, he's gonna do something stupid." Carissa went back to Hercules and jabbed him in the chest with her finger. "You know Triton is literally the only person who looks up to you and you say all that?"
"Well what was Triton just standing there for anyway? If he wasn't there he wouldn't have heard me calling him a geek." Herc said.
"You know, you're just like your father. Ya screw up and ya put the blame on someone else." Carissa said flaming up.
"Oh come on Carissa, he's a bubbling, stumbling, uncoordinated goof?"
"I'M LOOKING AT HIM!" Carissa screamed before stomping away. As she got near the water she saw Triton had his dad's triton. "Oh come on! How are these two idiots related to me." Carissa sighed as she watched him showing off for a bit before walking over. "Triton, what the heck are you doing?"
"I'm proving to Hercules that I'm not the world's biggest geek."
"I know you're dad, he didn't just give you his triton, so you stole it."
"Just borrowed it."
Carissa facepalmed and groaned. "Fine, but when he grounds you for life don't say I didn't warn you."
"Why would he ground me? He said to make him proud."
"Maybe because of that." Carissa pointed to the three headed sea monster that was now attacking the school.
Hercules of course ran over to it. "Enough! Leave now or be ready to fight to the finish!"
The three headed monster then raised full height and roared.
"Did I say fight to the finish?" Herc stuttered. "Oh man, that's too many heads."
"Look cuz." Carissa told Triton. "I'm not a fan of Herc, he screws up all the time but I think Zeus sent us here to make his son look good. How about we make ourselves look good."
"You really are the smart one." Triton grinned as the two ran over.
"So you know how to use that thing right?" Carissa asked.
"Yep, as long as I have the Triton." Triton answered before the monster grabbed it right out of his hands. "I had the Triton."
Next thing they know the whole school is flooded and Triton pulled Carissa onto one of the floats. "Guess this is why they call them floats." Carissa joked.
"So what do we do?" Triton asked her.
"Oh come one cuz, you're the son of Poseidon and I'm the daughter of Hades. You do your thing, I do mine." Carissa grinned. "This is your turf cuz."
"You're right, I might not do so good on land but water!" Nodding Triton dived into the water and got his dolphin friends to save the students were were in the water and Carissa used her fire to get the serpents attention.
"Over here ugly!" She shouted.
The monster tried to use the triton on her but Carissa's fire was too strong the water only evaporated. "That all you got?!"
"It's all they're gonna get!" Triton cheered as he tied them up with some powerful seaweed and took the triton back.
"Alright cuz!" Carissa cheered as the two high-five.
"Whoa hey now!" The turned to see Hades, Zeus and Poseidon in their titan forms standing in the water.
"Daddy!" Carissa cheered as he reached down and picked her up.
Hades turned to Zeus and glared. "THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT MY DAUGHTER TO BE?! LOOK AT THIS PLACE! WATER AND US? THAT'S LIKE PUTTING KETCHUP ON AMBROSIA!"
"And I just came to get my triton!" Poseidon glared at his son.
"I told you not to just leave that thing laying around." Hades said to his brother as he checked to make sure Carissa is ok.
"Laying around! The boy snatched it!!"
"Look I can explain." Triton sighed. "It's all my fault."
"No." Hercules swam over and admitted. "It's all my fault."
"Big surprise there." Hades mumbled. "But anyway bro. Look what our kids did." Hades nodded over to the monster. "Your son did that."
"I guess he did." Poseidon admitted.
"Now clean up this mess." Hades grinned as he and Carissa went home. "So? How was your first day of school as Carissa?"
"Better than I thought it would be." Carissa admitted.
