Carissa was standing in front of her dad shapeshifting into whatever he asked of her.

"Hera."

Carissa turned into Hera

"Helen of Troy."

Carissa turned into Helen.

"Cherub."

Carissa turned back into her normal look and crossed her arms. "Nice try."

"Hey it was worth a shot, now lets see some fire."

Carissa made the flame in her hair rise and her hands light bright with fire.

Hades stood up and clapped. "Well done Carissa, you have 100% control of your powers, I'm so proud of you."

Carissa put out her fire and grinned. "Thanks dad."

Hades pats her head and sends her off. "You're free to go, daddy has a busy day ahead of him." With that he was gone.

Carissa decided to go outside of the underworld today, maybe visit some monster friends or mess with some heroes, either way it would be a break from spying on her cousin or doing her work as an Underworld princess. Grabbing a few things she walked out and looked around the creepy woods that surrounded the way to the Underworld. She took a deep breath smelling the fresh air and sent of trees instead of brimstone and dead souls. Starting her walk she could hear animals running around, birds singing, wolves flying.. wait.

Carissa turned to see those two wolves that serve Hecate.

"Well now, a young princess shouldn't be out here all alone." One of them said.

"You'll never know when someone would try to take her." The other agreed.

"Oh just try to you mutts." Carissa lit her hands again with fire but before she could attack something hit her on the back of the head hard knocking her out.

"Carissa! Carissa! Wake up!"

Carissa groaned and felt the bump on her head slowly opening her eyes. "What happened?"

"You were taken by Hecate, we all were."

Carissa looked to see she was in a cage alone with Hercules and other guys she doesn't know. "Who are these weirdos?"

"Huh? What did she say?"

Hercules started to explain. "They're all famous heroes, Hecate stole all of their hero traits. She took my strength and I'm sorry to say but she also took your powers."

"She WHAT?!" Carissa looked at her hands to see her skin was a mortal beige, she felt her hair and say her flames were gone replaced by brown hair and she gripped the bars trying to melt them but it didn't work, she also felt so weak. "No no no no no!"

"Oh yes child."

Carissa growled and turned to that voice. "Hecate! When my dad finds out about this he's going to rip your head off!!"

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure." With a snap of her fingers someone who looked exactly like Carissa in her usual form walked in. "You see dear, I want the Underworld more than anything and to get that I need to defeat your daddy so I made a monster of my own using all of these heroes special abilities. Eyes of an eagle, super hearing, intelligent, toughness, your cousin's strength and of course you're power." She turned to her monster. "Come my dear, we have a takeover to plan."

"IF YOU LAY A WRINKLY FINGER ON MY DADDY I'LL SENT YOU TO THE RIVER STYX MYSELF!!" Carissa threatened as Hecate walked out.

"Herc we gotta stop her, my dad is the only one able to run the underworld."

"There must be something we can do." Herc agreed.

"How about say thank you." Herc and Carissa turned to see Phil walk in with the chief of police.

"Phil! You found us." Herc cheered.

"Using police technique."

"He means we followed you when Hecate took ya." Phil clarified.

"Whatever, get us out of here." Carissa demanded.

Turns out one of the kidnapped heroes was the chief's mentor who was now a total coward.

"I want that witch." The chief growled.

"Yeah, well get in line." Carissa said just as mad.

"Hey no problem, we have the best heroes ever right here." Phil pointed to all of them.

"Use to be the best." Carissa pointed out. "Hecate took my powers, Herc's strength and whatever these bozos had."

"But Hecate only took one thing from each of us. We're still all heroes right?" Herc asked.

"Uh sure kid, it makes sense on paper but..." Phil said unsure. "But combat against a monster?"

"Lets go." Herc lead on anyway. "Carissa you coming?"

"Risking a chance to save my dad and kick Hecate's as hard as I can in the face. Of course." Carissa lead all the heroes to the underworld and called over the boatman.

"Princess, you sure have a lot of company." He said.

"Yeah but no time to talk Chiron, get us to the throne room asap." She demanded as everyone climbed aboard.

"Ok kids, how do you plan on stopping Hecate?" The chief asked.

Carissa looked over at the guy who use to have the best eyes in the world. "Hey blind man, what's the worst thing about having super vision?"

"Bright lights, I hate them." He replied.

"Carissa, you're a genius." Hercules grinned.

"Yeah I know." Carissa nodded before she lead everyone off the boat and into the throne room in time to watch the monster break down the door.

"Look like Hades is out and about, same old story always waiting." Hecate sighed.

"The wait is over Hecate." Hercules said in his hero voice.

"Well look who's here, the former heroes, take care of them." Hecate demanded her monster.

"But madam, it would be like wiping out a part of myself, oh well, no big deal." The monster shrugged.

"Hey big eyes!" The hero who use to have perfect vision made the fire in the room glow brighter blinding the monster.

"HEY! HOW DO YOU LIKE THE BIG EARS NOW HUH?" The hero with perfect hearing shouted right into the monster's ears. Herc tried to punch the monster but instead Herc hurt his hand causing the monster to get mad and trying to hit Herc with Carissa's fire.

Carissa bent down causing the monster to trip over her and get stuck right into the wall and get knocked out by falling rocks.

"Well that tears it! I might not be able to defeat Hades but I can certainly do away with you all!" Hecate shouted.

"Whoa." Hades then appeared in his throne. "Well well well well, isn't this an interesting little tableau."

"Daddy!" Carissa ran up to him giving him a hug and sitting down next to him with his arm around her.

"So, anyone wanna tell me what's happening here before I ask my little princess? Hmm? Don't be shy now, come on." Hades mocked. "Speak up, lets get it off our chest."

"Look over there daddy." Carissa pointed to Hecate.

"Hecate, dollface, babe, what gives? Come on, talk to me like..."Hades then flames up his hair "NOW!"

"Ouch!" Carissa jumped away from him and quickly blew out the fire that landed on her tunic.

Hades widened his eyes and got a good look at his daughter seeing fire never bothered her before and she would never be in her mortal form. "Did you take my baby's powers?" Hades said calmly before stepping closer to Hecate and away from Carissa before going full flame. "DID YOU?!"

"Well, you see there's really a simple explanation." Hecate said nervously.

"Oh Hecate, she's just being modest." Herc spoke up. "Somebody, stole our heroic traits including Carissa's and put them in into this creature so he could defeat you."

Hades had a bored look on his face before giving a huge fake yawn clearly not believing it.

Hecate quickly followed Herc's lead. "As soon as I heard about this plan I rushed down to stop it, hence the wreckage around you."

"So now Hecate is going to magically transfer our traits and Carissa's powers back." Herc added. "Isn't that right, Hecate?"

"Well what can I say? I'm touched, this is like another side of you I'm seeing. I'm touched." Hades said in an unconvinced tone but he wants Carissa to have her powers back.

"Well the Underworld is my life." Hecate grinned. "So to speak."

"Life, that's a good one." Hades faked laughed. "Hey huh don't go away." With that he disappeared.

"Make it quick with giving me my powers back or I tell my daddy the whole truth." Carissa threatened Hecate. "I'm sure he's going to love the part about the bump on my head and waking up in a cage."

"Very cunning." The smart hero complimented her.

Carissa quickly got rid of her threatening look and put on her sweet smile when Hades appeared again giving Hecate a small statue of himself. "Just a token of my appreciation, love you, mean it, call me every ten minutes, not really bye."

"I got just the place for it." Hecate mumbled before giving everyone their traits back.

Hades quickly kicked everyone out and turned to Carissa who was now her regular self again. "So what really happened?"
