      I was asleep when it happened. I woke up in the morning and my purse was stolen; my jewelry was too. I called the police and told them the look of my purse and jewelry and my apartment number, but it was no good.

      The rent then came around and I couldn't pay it. I got kicked out and I had to live in my car. That's where I am now.

      I lived far away from my friends; at least 35 miles away. I can't drive that far without having to pay for gas. I was alone for many weeks.

      That's until I ran out of gas. Policemen kept knocking on my window saying; "You can't sleep here." Or "Get outta here kid!" I had to give up my car. I found a large box behind a grocery store and I slept in that for 8 days. I am so alone...
