➰ Desert's P.O.V ➰

      The days passed like nothing had happened. It's crazy. I told my friends about the "picture" I found yesterday.

"Wow. That's... Wow." Dania responded, vacuuming the rug.

"Yeah. I can tell that was scary AND surprising..." Tecy shivered.

"It was. But I'm glad I have you guys here." I smiled. I didn't tell them about the kiss; I just couldn't. I went back to cleaning the paintings while Dania vacuumed the rug, Tecy dusted the vases, and Turtle washed the windows.

      "DESERT COME HERE THIS INSTANT!!!" Lord Eggman screeched. We all looked at each other with horrified/frightened looks.

      "Good luck..." They told me. I thanked them and walked into Lord Eggman's room.

      He was sitting in his throne, not looking very happy.

      "GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!!!" Lord Eggman shouted, spitting everywhere.

"W-What did I do....?" I asked, shaking.

"YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!! THAT'S THE THING!!! YOUR USELESS TO ME!!!" Lord Eggman yelled. That's when he jumped out of his throne and right in front of me. He grabbed my shirt and held me into the air.

"Your no longer of use to me." Lord Eggman hissed. Before he could do anything, someone came in and whacked him into the side wall, and I fell, but someone caught me; it was Shadow!

"Sh-Shadow...?" I asked. Shadow nodded, still looking at Lord Eggman.

"SHADOW?! MY OWN SON BETRAYING ME?!" Lord Eggman screeched.

"No one hurts Desert." Shadow growled. He put me down and he and Lord Eggman fought. Lasers beamed everywhere, fists were thrown, and yelps were erupting.

That's when I decided to help. I used my energy-bolts and zapped Lord Eggman. He was paralyzed, so Shadow threw him out of the palace. Lord Eggman fell 35 feet and landed on the ground. I saw a huge puddle of red substance appearing around him.

      "That'll teach him." Shadow growled. He faced me and we kissed. That's when I fell in love.

      When the kiss was broken, Shadow looked straight into my eyes.

      "Will you be my forever love?" He asked. I nodded happily and hugged him.

      I love Shadow. He's my Forever Love.
