・ this is a mortal AU, and a jercy fic, i.e. jason grace x percy jackson. it's told in first person, in the perspective of jason grace;

・ everything is in lowercase. this doesn't mean i'm ditching other grammar conventions, or anything—i just like the way lowercase looks softer. it flows in a way that i feel is closer to the tone i want to set;

・ all pics (cover pic, the pic at each chapter) are found on pinterest;

・ i have never written in present tense before, or in first person. in fact, everything about this writing style (except the em dashes!!) is completely new to me. and, as much as i'd like to, i can't say i'm working on this for perfection. i'm a junior in high school & have a lot going on -- with exams, extra-curriculars, and just college prep -- so i'm sort of trying to write when i can. so just bear with me <3

・there will be a few percy pov chapters littered throughout this, but they'll be short, more abstract-ish and. you know. quite sparse. less of an insight on him as it is just to keep this a bit more interesting—so, we're still largely seeing everything through the lens of jason.
