I don't care if you're inspired to make a CH x reader book like mine. You can choose whether or not to give credit to the proper people. I was inspired by multiple authors who wrote CH oneshots myself.

The catch is if you take some of the plot from my story, which I though of myself (besides some inspiration), and make a book that follows most of that plot you have to give credit. I've seen a book like this that's relatively new. You can try to debunk it but I'm 90% sure the inspiration for it was me. This is because the first few chapters of my book have the same plot as theirs with slight differences. Please give credit because I worked hard on this plot (or draft of the plot) and it isn't helpful that if your book becomes popular newer readers might think I copied off of you.

I'm not against taking inspiration but when there's no credit given and it's almost a copy of mine I have to step in. It's not okay to not give credit when it's very obvious you were inspired. I'm not trying to say that you can't make a book like mine or your book will never be popular. I just don't want to deal with issues further down the line.
