Chapter 18 -I'm tired-

I looked over to see ASEAN and everyone with him. I noticed that Japan, South Korea, and North Korea were also there. "Hey guys..." I said quietly. Soon enough I was tackled by South Korea in a crushing hug. "Don't do that again!" He yelled, holding me tighter. I hugged back, for some reason South was shaking. I heard a muffled sound and looked around confused. At that moment I realized South Korea was crying. I could tell he was trying not to let it show but I could feel the tears falling onto my jacket and was holding the shaking country in my arms. "We were so worried about you! Please don't run off again." I heard a familiar voice say. I look up to see North Korea. I was surprised when I met his gaze. he wore a concerned look, something I've never seen him express. It was a shock considering he acted tough and emotionless most of the time. The only sign of turmoil was when he fought with his brother.

I looked over at the other countries and realized how my disappearance affected them. Some (countries I had met way before) had puffy eyes, showing that they were crying. Others seemed relieved. I looked away. I felt South Korea pull away from the hug, his eyes slightly red. I looked up at him concerned. One last tear fell out of his eyes as he looked at me. "I'm glad you're back." He said, putting on a smile. I reached up to his face, wiping the tear away with my sleeve. "I'm sorry I left in the first place." I put on a smile. I realized that I had to be there for these countries. I don't know how but I guess having a human friend was rare for them. I think they were worried considering they never really deal with actual humans like me. Losing me would be loosing a friend, if they even considered me a friend.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I saw Philippines, for some reason his clothes were torn in some places and covered in dirt. "Phil what happened?!" I asked, worried. "Oh it's nothing, I just tripped and fell." He said. I looked down, noticing a scrape on his leg. "I'm getting you bandages as soon as we get back to ASEAN's place." I said, pointing to the wound. Phil sighed and nodded, knowing that I wouldn't stop pestering him about it until he gave in. I smiled at him and turned away. I headed towards the other countries, more specifically ASEAN. "Sorry I caused so much trouble for you, you probably have more important stuff to do than worry about me." The organization looked at me in surprise. "You're my guest, there's nothing more important that your wellbeing." It warmed my heart to hear someone say that. As a loner I never really got compliments from people who weren't my foster parents.

After giving Japan, North, and South Korea hugs I started to walk towards the ASEAN household with the other countries. I said goodbye to New Zealand and Aussie before we went our separate ways. After a bit of awkward silence Myanmar spoke up. "So... (Y/N).... why did you run off like that." I saw a few of the countries glance at me as Myanmar slowed down and walked beside me. I looked down at my feet. "I just don't like seeing people fight." I answered, avoiding his gaze. I didn't want to tell them about the distant memory, it would have only worry them more. I'm pretty sure that everyone could tell that I was hiding something. Thankfully nobody pressed for more information.

Soon enough we reached ASEAN's house. As I walked in and sat on the couch the others looked at me with concern. "Wait... were am I sleeping?" I asked, looking at Philip who had walked over to me. After a moment of thinking he turned to ASEAN. I assumed Philippines asked him where I was sleeping that night (since he asked in Filipino) but the other countries seemed a bit aggravated by what he said. "I could just sleep on the couch-" "No, you're our guest. To avoid any conflicts we'll rotate who your roommate is every night." ASEAN insisted. This seemed to calm the countries down a little.

I sighed and had no choice but to agree. I didn't want to concern the others or see them arguing again. "She'll stay with me first then Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and finally Brunei." With very little complaining the countries all agreed on the schedule.

As I pulled out my phone Philippines sat down next to me. "Wait, (Y/N). Where do you live anyway?" His question also gained the attention of the other countries who were eavesdropping on our conversation. "Oh, I just moved out of my parents house. I currently live in a small town near the university I want to go to." Philip nodded. "Speaking of which I need to send your credentials to UN. What's your full name?" ASEAN said, walking over to me and Philippines. "Oh, it's (Y/N) Tuulia." "Wait. You're a Tuulia?" Vietnam said, looking at me confusion. "...yeah?" I looked at him in confusion. All the countries were staring at me, all shocked in some sort of way. "Why are you all looking at me like that?" "You mean you don't know the mystery of the Great Tuulia?!" Singapore yelled. At this point I was still pretty confused.

ASEAN sighed and put a hand on my shoulder. "The famous Victor Tuulia, he appears whenever a country is in dire situations. He would do anything in his power to save them. A couple of years ago he suddenly stopped showing up, he just suddenly vanished. Nobody knows where he came from or where he went." I slowly nodded. This was still confusing as I have never heard of anyone named Victor Tuulia. Tuulia was my biological Dad's last name, I knew that his name wasn't Victor though. It's seems weird though, why haven't I heard of this before since I share his last name?

ASEAN immediately went to his office. "I need to tell UN this." He said. The other countries just looked at me. Some looked like they didn't believe me while others were plain confused.

I need answers, but I wonder who has them.
