Chapter 16 -ASEAN-
We arrived at the house, Philippines helping me with my stuff and Vietnam was unlocking the door. The house was pretty big, then again all the houses I've been to were bigger than average. I guess it's because they're countries, not really sure how that works. Suddenly I heard a crash from inside the building. "They're at it again aren't they..." Philippines sighed. Somehow both of the countries seemed amused at the same time.
Vietnam opened the door and as I walked in I saw the countries Myanmar and Thailand running around and crashing into things. I put my hand over my mouth to hold in my laughs as the two countries next to me snickered. As they continued to chase each other I heard a loud thud from the second floor. All the countries in the room stopped in their tracks. I heard the sound of someone moving and walking down the steps. Currently Vietnam, Philippines, and I were next to the stairs so I couldn't really see the person who started to walk down. "Myanmar! Thailand! Look at what you've done to the house! This is absolutely ridiculous!" He yelled, "Don't you know we have a guest coming over!?" Philippines cleared his throat when the man said that. The figure turned around and I saw that it was ASEAN.
Of course his face was a flag like the rest of them. He was tall and was dressed formally, he seemed stressed out though and it looked like he had pulled an all-nighter. "O-oh, you must be who UN was talking about. (Y/N) right? I'm so sorry about the mess! I'm ASEAN." He said, glaring back at Myanmar and Thailand. "It's fine!" I said, smiling at him I noticed that part of his face turned a slight purple but ignored it.
"She hasn't formally met everyone here either." Vietnam said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "I'll call everyone down then." ASEAN said as he turned back towards the top of the stairs. Thinking about it, ASEAN was like UN but he seemed more stressed and tired. Probably because he had to live with 10 countries. After being lost in thought for a moment, there was a loud crash.
I looked up concerned as the two countries behind me walked upstairs. I followed Vietnam up the steps and while we were making our way to the source of the crash I could hear shouts in different languages. When we got to the top I saw an ticked ASEAN and six other countries that I've seen before. They were all shouting at each other in languages that I couldn't understand. One of them (who was Indonesia) were trying to calm down Singapore and Malaysia who were trying to tear each other apart. The others were watching the scene or trying to help Indonesia.
Thailand made his was up the stairs and stood behind ASEAN (who was trying to get the situation under control) and sighed. "You guys realize that we have a guest over right?" The fighting stopped as the countries looked confused. I felt arms wrap around me, I could tell it was Vietnam (who was being a little overprotective). "Oh! You mean she's...." Indonesia said before spotting me. "Oh my god I'm terribly sorry (Y/N)! I had no idea you were hear yet!" "It's fine." I said, smiling at him.
The other countries looked in my direction, I felt their stares from where I was standing. For some reason I started to blush a bit, probably because I wasn't used to all the attention yet. I was a little nervous, they could be judging me for all I know. Suddenly, out of embarrassment, the two fighting countries broke apart and ran over to me. They started talking to me in languages that I didn't understand until they were pulled away again by the others. Soon enough everyone started to fight with each other. ASEAN, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia were trying to break them apart.
What did I get myself into?
