Headcanon: In this AU, which I call Wings. Countries who have national bird(s) would have wings of said national bird(s).

•How would they get their wings?
- They were born with it (They start out as white)
- The government declares this bird as the national bird

• What if your bird is mythical one?
- If that is the case , you'll still have the wings ,it's just that it would have this kind of glow that makes it look like their wings had iridescent glitter spilled all over it.

• What if they're an organization or a country without a national bird?
- For organizations, they would have white angel-like wings. For the countries without a national bird, theirs would be a somewhat ombré pattern (in terms of flag color) and would have wings of either Angels, Butterflies, Dragonflies , Fairies or any winged creature.

• Would they be born with feathers?
- HAVE YOU SEEN A BABY BIRD?! AND IF YOU DID, DO THEY HAVE FEATHERS AT BIRTH?! MOST OF THEM DON'T HAVE FEATHERS! SO THAT MEANS, THEY DON'T HAVE FEATHERS WHEN THEY HATCH . Actually, I don't how would they be born...would they hatch out of an egg? Or be born normally? If they would be born like how human babies are born, what about their wings?

• How would wing development be like?
- okay now this is complicated.
1. They would be  pretty born featherless and bald (whaddya expect?)
2. Soon enough, they would start to develop white feathers. Their feathers would be white at birth until the government declares this bird as the national one is when they'll have feathers of that bird.
3. As the young nation grows , so does their wings.
4. They would start to fly , which is in this AU would start at the ages of 10 months old but it will be much more of like parents trying to help their child.
5 . They'll harness their wings and the ability to fly as they continue to grow .

• Would they molt their feathers like how birds do?
- Absolutely. Yes. Birds usually molt once a year , some would mold more than once in a year.

• Would they have migration patterns like their birds?
- If their birds have migration patterns, they would follow them too.

•What if you have a national bird but then they are flightless birds?
- You'd still have the wings, you won't able to fly in them thou. You may get some help but don't worry, not everything is high on the clouds.

• What if instead of bird wings, you have like... Dragon wings?
- You'd still have the same , thou it would be different , different methods and such since dragon and bird anatomy is different from each of winged creature.

• What if they were colonized or conquered?
- I really don't wanna talk about this topic since this would be very sensitive topic. If you want to know about this , please pm me on this so that I can tell you on what it is .

• How would they take baths?
-Have you seen a bird in a like bird fountain, trying to take a bath. All the water goes around, splashing.
(I feel so sorry for their bathrooms)

•What would people think? About them?
- They don't exist in our eyes. To us, they would be humanoid bird creatures.

• Are there any countries would have only one wing left or be completely wingless?
- Yes. They're just rare to find, if you mean one wing. Completely wingless?
Now those are Impossible.

• What about dead countries?
- Dead countries are the only featherless creatures (besides newborns).
Okay here's the explanation:
Feathers would slowly to fall off the wings (even if they're done with molting, which is once a year for most birds)
They won't grow back if they fall off in this case since you are nearly dying.
Once you have died, the remaining feathers would all fall off, leaving you in the same case as you when you were born.
Featherless and helpless.

•Does this even made a single sense to the reader?
- I really hope it did.

• No SERIOUSLY! Does it?!
- probably not.

A/N: Hello! Welcome back to the headcanon book! This one is a new one and has been inspired by OH SO MANY WING OR BIRD RELATED AU FANFICTION.
I have so much thoughts and ideas about this au but decided to stop because it's already getting too long and it might overwhelm you guys (I think I could make a part 2. Should I?)

Also, if you want to know what happens if they get colonized or conquered, PM me on that since it's very ...mature but don't expect a quick reply, I would be probably asleep but I'll respond once I get up.

Please be reminded that this is my opinion , please don't bully me for that. Disagree? Okay that's fine we all have opinions but straight up bullying me because of it is a big no no.

Also,if they could use their wings as defend themselves , would they possible wing fights? Duels in the sky? Actually, that would be kinda cool especially if it's between pretty powerful birds or mythical ones.

Reminder: I know Absolutely NOTHING on bird/ humanoid bird anatomy . I have tried my best to research on this.
