Chapter 24: So we have a goal...how do we achieve it?

Time to go into overdrive! I literally had to re-read my own book just to remember the plot...is this fandom even still alive? Haven't been on this app for months ...hope you're all well!

New Zealand's POV:

I was just watching the news with Mexico when EU, UN, ASEAN, and NATO came up to give a speech about the new info they have gathered about fusion. It's been a few months since this whole fiasco started and looks like they're finally going to give us an update. (Yes I've done a small time skip to represent the passage of time.)

UN was the one to walk up to the podium and give the announcement. Even though we all had a pretty good idea since Japan told us what the "plot" was. Though I personally still don't believe that she's finally lost her mind.

"After much research and experimentation these past two months we nations have all come to the agreement that all fusions should be banned. Seeing as it is just a way for more reckless countries to combine their worse traits and cause trouble. So from this moment forth any countries seen fusing sell be punished accordingly!" UN announced with a serious tone while the others just nodded their heads in the backgrounds. Then the TV was abruptly turned off by Mexico who seemed very pissed off.

U.S then walked in with China and Aussie while holding the remote seeming pretty upset. "I can't believe this bullshit!" Ame yelled at he walked over to the end of his couch and sat down while crossing his arms. "It's not fair that a few 'reckless' countries got caught doing dumb stuff while fusing so now it's banned forever!" He yelled at he sank further into his couch and China walked over to join him while nodding. "For once I agree! This isn't right banning something that clearly was meant to bring us closer together."

"Yeah...so what are we going to do about it?" Asked Mexico as he looked around the room with a slowly growing frown. "Also where did Nada and North do? They were here just a few minutes ago. At least I thought they were..."

He brought up a good point. I didn't even really process that they weren't here until he pointed it out. Nobody was really worried about North running away anymore since him and Nada formed a weird friendship, if you could even call it that, so we took off their handcuff a long while ago. But it never hurt to keep an eye on those two since Nada hasn't really been himself since he got dumped by Ukraine and you couldn't trust North as far as you could throw him. That's why when I sleep in the guest bedroom at night I make sure to lock the door.

"Oh they're out in the backyard, mate! Just laying on the ground and looking at the sky...I think they might've token something if I'm being honest." Australia spoke out as he pointed behind him to the kitchen which led to the backyard. "Yeah they've just been fucking weird these past few weeks. I swear if that little nuke fucker turns my brother into a communist, I will kill somebody!" Ame said as he clenched his hands into fist while China just rolled his eyes at him.

"Anyway...clearly we need to change the nations' minds on fusion like Japan told us two months ago! Since that's the 'plot'. So the only question now is how do we do that exactly?" China said as he looked at us hoping to get any suggestions. Unfortunately living together these past two months have not made us any smarter when it comes to fusion. Even though four of us have already experienced it and even helped Russia and Phili with it when they first came here!

The only ones that haven't fused yet are me, Aussie, and North. Yet according to Japan we're also meant to help since we too are "main characters". I still don't fully believe in all of this storybook stuff but she seems to be right so far so might as well keep going with it...

"Well why don't one of you guys bring in Nada and North so we can start brainstorming ideas, alright?" Ame says as he starts to try and get comfortable on his couch. Completely pushing China aside so he can properly lay his head down onto his lap. If there's one thing I've learned these past two months. It's that Ame has no idea what personal space is, if it's not referring to his own.

"I'll go and get them..." Mexico says with a huff as he gets up from his space on the couch next to me. Which is quickly taken by Aussie who has just been leaning against the wall even though there was more than enough room on the couch.

Aussie then clapped his hands with a smile and leaned over in front of the coffee table and said this, "Great! So we have a goal...how do we achieve?"

I made a promise to both myself and at least one viewer of this book a while back that I would finish this book...and I'll be damned if I don't keep that promise. So for every viewer that has been waiting for this...which is probably two at the most. This is for you! Believe it or not we are nearing the endgame.❤️
