from the sky.

it's not as simple as that. it's hard to let go of someone you've held onto for your whole life. or just someone you felt like you've held onto for your whole life. witnessing stars expire. watching dust clutter. paused. worlds collide in transparent ways. it is an experience that i hope for no one. but some people have been paused their whole lives. some need to witness stars expire and watch dust clutter in order to spew the rust that's been sewn into their skin.
