"Crimson" I heard my only friend and one of my many half-siblings say. I turned around and smiled.

"Hi Rue" I said laughing when she tripped.

"Rude" she grumbles

"I know. but you love me don't you?" I asked doing a closed eye smile. Rue laughed a yes.

"Let's go!" Rue stated pulling me to the woods that the animals treated us well. Most people would think our village didn't exist but we did. we had a Guardian Demon to hide us who died giving birth to me. my father raised me to be kind, gentle, and humble. but he also taught me how to be a ninja. most of us were but since I was half human half demon I'm always treated with disgust, but also respected because who my parents were.

Today I turned 19 the legal age to be a Jounin in our village Hidden in the Dark.

"Your going to be Jounin!" Rue stated she was a few years older than me but she saw me as a harmless girl.

I smiled. "I know! I'm so excited!"

"You should Crim" Rue said using one of my many nicknames. she got up and put a flower crown. "now you really do look like our Guardian all you need to change is your blood red hair and eyes.

I laughed. "yeah. that won't be possible, father tried dying it but it turned back to red." I said remembering he trying to dye my hair black.

"That was priceless!" Rue agreed giving me her hand, I took it smiling as she returned the smile.

When we got back home to change in the ceremony we still were very happy. But just before father called my name Rue came running trying to be stopped by some guards.

"Rue?" I asked. she grabbed me and pulled me close and going up on stage with me when father announced my name finally.

"You will not kill her!" she shouted at my father making me get behind her.

"Silent! She will do what's best for this village!" my father shouted back. my eyes widened when I saw a pale snake man.

"Oh but Sir I think I have a resolution to all this." He said

"Who are you!?" my father and Rue demanded

"Well honorable Sir Kairio. Ms. Kairio. I would like to slaughter you all" the snake man said aiming for the people first.

"Father! do something!" I yelled tears start pouring out. I'm acting more like a child.

"Run child. run! to your room to get a present I left you! Rue! go with your sister!" he said preparing to fight. I understood and ran with my sister to my room where I found my mothers heirloom. it was a choker that had a diamond decorating it. I quickly put it on and ran with Rue to the woods.

"Rue! what about father!?" I asked panicked as we almost got to the border.

"Your fathers dead" I heard a someone say.

"Crimson!" my sister shouted and got in front of me.

"Oh she's dead" he said looking down on her.

"Rue!" I screamed by her side tears spilling.

"You have to survive. live your life a Junin. here's my headband to prove you are one" she stated tying me her headband.

"Rue. you can't die!" I cried out as she smiled. I couldn't help but smile back and she died peacefully. "RUE!" I cried sobbing hard.

"Oh good she's dead." the snake man said. I looked up fuming mad.

"Who are you!?" I yelled. he smirked

"Well at least you will die with my name" he said "my name is Orochimaru. Crimson Kairio" he said

"Well your wrong about one thing. I'm not going to die right now!" I shouted opening up the gate of mind. And ran off the border closing it a minute later. as I was falling into complete darkness.
