Hands intertwined, you stared up at the night sky. The early morning colors dripped into the clouds that no longer blended with the black sky.
Uraraka was beside you. When you looked at her, you noticed her chocolate colored hair. Her eyes, too, were glued to the melting sky.
Her eyes connected with yours, and you almost looked away. You caught yourself. "Beautiful, isn't it?"
"Staring at the sky..." She said in a mere whisper, just loud enough for you to hear. "Cookie cutter stars lining the sky. So perfect, yet so incomplete without each other. I guess we can relate to stars. Without one another, the world wouldn't work. We wouldn't work. When you stare up at the sky, you remember those old science classes from when you were young. All those little balls of fire, long burned out. You'd never realize how close they really are until they're staring you straight in the eyes." Her eyes caught yours again.
"I never new anything like that." Uraraka said. "I always wanted to be a star up there. I wanted to shine as brightly as the next, helping form millions of constilations; that never happened." She breathed. "Cookie cutter shapes... No, not cookie cutters... Everyone is too different for that. Rather, imagine a child, molding each and every star with their hands. Each and every one of those bright lights up there are unique. So unique that you can tell them apart, even from here."
She was right. A hazy red burned across the dark blue sky, staining the horizon with a sunrise that you couldn't believe.
"Good morning, Y/N." Uraraka whispered in your ear, making your hair stand on end.
"I love you."
