FIVE - APPLES ARE RED
The door slammed shut with a large bang, the culprit seems calm. When Mai turns to the direction of the sound, she came upon a shock seeing a familiar pair of hazel eyes and an annoyed smile dawned upon his adonis face - or so says the fangirls.
"Fuuto!?"
"Apples!?"
"Hi! What are you doing here o puny one?" Mai greeted the idol while waving with one hand, the other however was grasped tightly by Haruki's right hand. Mai has failed to notice the frown upon Haruki's - another - adonis face. "Haruki! Let go!"
"Ara-ara! If it isn't Asakura!" Haruki smiled a closed eye smile, but his aura still menacing and deadly. "What business may you have with Mai?"
"Oh? I'm just getting some coffee." Fuuto leaned against the cashier's counter, smoothly reading out his order to the lady who jotted it down fastly. She excused herself after a while, well, after staring at the idol with sparkly eyes.
"Hm, is our meeting this afternoon still on?" Mai asked, tapping her chin. She takes a bite out of her cheesecake before smiling at the delicious flavor spreading out through out her tastebuds. "Hmmm! It's delish!"
Haruki slightly smile at her childish behaviour, reminding him of their younger days playing together where the red-head would smile at every little thing he did to her. He wipes the corner of her mouth with a napkin, clearly unaware of the other idol seething in mixed feelings.
"Mou! Stop treating me like a child!" Mai pouted. "I know we're like, five years apart but still!"
"Well whose fault is it for being clumsy?" Haruki reasoned, his tone flat and teasing her. "Besides, you're the one who acts like a child. It can't be helped if I treat you like one!"
"Hmph! This is why I hate spending time with you!"
-- that and another reason, Mai thought. She grinned widely, as she clearly missed on their daily bickerings and fussing over small things. "Old man."
"How dare you,"
Haruki bopped her forehead lightly, smiling a bright smile unlike his usual billboard smile, Fuuto noted. He red-haired girl and his mortal foe paired up together would make a headline-worthy couple. They sure look good together, he thought.
"Ah, Asakura-san? Here are your orders." The waitress hands Fuuto a paper bag - still warm - and gave him her best smile. "That'll be 1000 yen please."
"Hn," He reached for his pockets, pulling out some money to pay for his order without even looking at the amount. His eyes still glued to the pair at the corner of the shop. "Ah, here you go"
"Thank you and come again soon." The waitress bowed a ninety degrees bow. Before smiling a polite smile and showed him the way out.
Fuuto turned from the door, his footsteps fast and steady, it's like his body over-controlled his mind that was saying a bunch of argumentations on why he shouldn't bother the couple. But his legs - stubbornly - move on its own.
"Eh? Fuuto?"
Mai looked up; periwinkle eyes staring at his auburn ones. He silently gulped, he never noticed the detail of her face this close. How her eyes is actually a mix of green and tinge of blue speckles. And how her skin is pale, but below the sunlight you could see faint freckles adorning her pink cheeks.
"Here, I thought maybe you'd want more after finishing that slice of cheesecake." He smoothly said, handing her a white box warm to touch. The sweet aroma filling his nostrils with goodness. "Then, I'll see you this afternoon apples!"
He winked before twirling out of the shop, palms sweaty from grasping the hem of his shirt too tightly. And heartbeat rapidly increasing because of something. It must be the heat right? Right.
Well, that theory could've been right if the cafe isn't air-conditioned at all. Or maybe, Haruki was glaring at him too intensely? But all he knew is that.
All is good, all is good.

"
Oi! Baka-idol!"
Fuuto turned to her direction, he had asked her to wait in a park near the hospital so that they could get going. His lips quirked up into an amused Fuuto Asakura's trademark smirk. Mai plopped down in the empty space beside him.
"So," Mai breathed out, slightly panting since she ran from the hospital. "What are we going to do?"
"Hmm," He thought out loud. "Let me see the book, maybe we could do one or two things first."
Mai hesitatently gave him the same book he opened the first time this whole crazy project happened. "The first thing is...ah! This is a stupid thing I wished for, let's skip it!"
"No way in hell we are," he easily snatched the thick leather book from her hands. "Let's see, one, having siblings?"
Mai fiddled with her thumb, her gaze fixated on to the cement floor. "Well, I was born an only child and I really want to have siblings...even though, it's a bit impossible since my parents have divorced."
"Hmm, if it's about siblings, I think I can help." Fuuto suddenly thought of his whole bunch of blood related creatures back at his house. He heaved a sigh, maybe this once. "Let's go."
"Eh? Where?"
"My house of course." He replied briefly with a satisfied tone.
"Why?"
"To meet my family, duh."
They settled inside the taxi after that spontaneous suggestion of the idol. Mai still wondered about a couple of things, what is his family like? How many siblings are there? She never heard of his family once, not in the media, not from Haruki. Maybe he kept some things private too, huh?
"Before we get there, I want you too prepare yourself." He suddenly said. "I've got a bunch of brothers and some of them are a little uncivilized...and considering you're a bit stupid, well..."
Mai huffed, "How dare you! I could handle a few humans on my own even if they're an exact clone of you!"
"The problem is," Fuuto scratched the back of his head. "They are not just a 'few'."
"Huh?"
"Forget it, you'll see them yourself after all."
And after a few more minutes in the way, the taxi came into an abrupt stop. The engine screeched against the asphalt covered ground, stopping at a huge apartment complex. Mai opened her eyes wide, now she really is getting worried over the amount of siblings he has.
"We're here." Fuuto stepped into the porch, ringing the bell once before looking at her in the eyes. "Brace yourself."
Mai gulped. The same time when a man with brown hair and a man with violet eyes and white hair opened the door.
"Fuuto?" The man asked in pure confusion while the other peeked through the door excitedly. "You brought a girl?"
