3rd Pov

Y/n was smiling albeit it was never a kind smile.

John and Sarah who is in front of him is oblivious to that fact.

"Aw, let's chat then, N/n~. Just like old times~." Sarah said in a nice voice.

"Haha, indeed, let's chat. We're friends, aren't we?" George said.

".....Oh, yeah. That's true, sure." Y/n said shocking everyone including Seo Yoon.

Y/n then walks towards them slowly lowering his sword.

"Aw, look at you, N/n, we can make things official again, how about it?" Sarah asked Y/n who had a thoughtful face.

Of course, the revelation nearly broke Mina who gripped her weapon tighter after hearing that Sarah was Y/n's ex-girlfriend.

Seo Yoon also heard what she said and she was feeling very irritated unknowingly for some reason.

Shi Yoon realized the underlying context.

Hilde, well, Hilde.

"Shi Yoon, what's going on?" Hilde asked in a whisper.

"That's Y/n's ex-girlfriend." Shi Yoon answered in a whisper making Hilde wide-eyed in shock.

Just as Y/n was only 5 meters across both of them, Y/n abruptly stopped.

George and Sarah were confused.

"Something wrong, N/n?" Sarah asked Y/n.

"Yeah, something wrong?" George asked.

"By the way, can I ask what you guys did when I was away on camp for a summer trip?" Y/n asked out of the blue. Both of them then flinched.

"Haha, what are you talking about, N/n?" Sarah asked Y/n who sheathes his sword.

"Seems like you do this often behind my back." Y/n said."Fine, let the truth be known then, you guys had sex multiple times behind my back and you think I don't know?"

Y/n statement made George narrowed his eyes.

"Don't assume anything if you don't have proof, look you don't even know that it happens or not," George said.

"......You're right, I don't if it weren't for some kind old man who showed me the video of you guys doing the deeds, that is, in fact, I already stored it in my phone to show you guys," Y/n said making both of them getting serious.

"N/n, don't joke around like that," Sarah said.

"Hahaha...." Y/n laughed.

Before anyone can react, Y/n suddenly appears in front of John looking at him directly in the eye. Y/n hold out his hand and shoot John a blast of concentrated electromagnetism sending him to crash over multiple building. Y/n then turns to see that Sarah is about to shoot him with her left arm crackling with lightning.

Y/n just sidestepped and kicked her at the waist towards a different direction sending her to crash over multiple walls of earth that were already there.

"My bad, that was a terrible joke," Y/n said with a poker face.

Y/n's action makes Seo Yoon act and start fighting the Fenrir Squad.

"Commander, I'll take care of them and the rest can handle Seo Yoon," Y/n said to the comms.

"Alright, Robot. Be careful." Hilde said to comms before turning it off.

Y/n turns off the comms and stores it in his storage.

"Now, that's not nice," George said appearing with his arms generating fire.

*Smile* "Why would I be nice to my backstabbers?" Y/n said making George serious.

"Fine by me." *smiles wickedly* "This is going to be fun." George said.

George then dashed with his elbow propelled by fire. Y/n then grabbed one of his wrists and channeled electromagnetism hurting John's wrists and breaking his focus.

"Argh!" George exclaimed in pain.

Y/n then uses George's wrist to rotate him and release him with his body floating in the air upside down.

"Crap!" George said.

Y/n then kicks him at the waist sending him to where Sarah crashes.

"Gah!" George exclaimed in pain.

Sarah who just stands after being thrown shakes her head to remove dizziness. She then looks in front of her and sidesteps making John crash without any landing cushion resulting in a cloud of dust.

"Wow, got handled in an instant," Sarah exclaimed in amazement.

At the same time, Fenrir Squad attacks Seo Yoon who combined her Alternative Factor along with Progressive Factor and Ascension Factor but she holds her ground.

"Shut up, how about you handle him?" George retorted.

"Hmph, I'll show you," Sarah said in confidence with Y/n standing still holding his sword sheathed with his left hand.

Sarah's body slowly sparks with electricity and in an instant, she disappeared.

Y/n's Pov

Sarah disappears after her body starts to release lightning.

However, I notice what abilities they have.

John generates fire strong enough to create a blast to shred a dimensional ship and Sarah has the ability to generate electricity.

Then, I sensed something was about to appear in front of me though, I already knew who is it.

I decided to kick with my right leg and Sarah appeared exactly at that place with both of her hands in front of her.

The attack connected to her waist halting her attempts to hurt me and got pushed away due to my training with Omicron. I then felt electricity and realized that touching Sarah was a bad idea, if I can't absorb electricity that is.

"Gahk!" Sarah exclaimed in pain before being pushed away.

Electricity is part of electromagnetism. So, I absorbed it fast negating the shock along with Omicron's help.

"Electricity absorbed. Analyzing...Complete. It appears she can also manipulate signals used to attract the Corrupted objects." Omicron answered one of my questions.

"Seems like you guys sure do a lot of damage," I said commenting on George and Sarah's ability.

"Haha, is it that obvious?" George said standing up and I realized that George was just fine and the wound I inflicted on him was gone along with Sarah.

"Yup, no wonder they call you treasure," Sarah said standing up as if nothing happened.

"......I see, so that explains why you're still okay, then," I commented on seeing the results because likely that they absorbed the Progressive factor along with the Ascension factor.

*Smile wickedly* George smiles wickedly."Now, you know what would you do? Oh, my bad. You can't change anything! Hahahaha!"

"That's bad, George, Give him a chance!" Sarah said loudly and laughing.

Suddenly, many C.Os and Replacers appear around us and Omicron informs the exact direction at the same time as Lena.

"Master, the enemy at 11,7, and 4 o'clock."

I said nothing and sheathed my sword and suddenly blue lightning appeared and went towards the sword and enveloped it.

Sarah and John smile and suddenly they both have white hair and I feel their presence grows stronger.

"So, you want to take us on, gladly," John nodded and went into his stance.

His stance was his arms wide open and he crouches slightly.

"I see, I see," Sarah said and smiled as well and took her stance with one of her feet direction pointed towards me and the other leg pointed elsewhere.

Then, both of their abilities leaked out with George burning different colors each time and Sarah was crackling electricity around her.

"By the way, thanks for the treasure, N/n~" Sarah said.

Yet I feel nothing.....no, I can feel it, it's just I no longer care about their lives anymore.

The electricity envelops my sword and glows a bluish aura and crackling lightning.

At the same time

"So, just like Robot said," Hilde said to herself.

"Strange, you guys don't seem surprised at all." Seo Yoon said in surprise.

"Haha, I think Y/n uses a little bit of psychology here." Shi Yoon said.

"Seems so," Mina said in awe.

"But it's strange, other than both of them, how come they grant you authority to mobilize this much army when you just recently defected," Kyle questioned Seo Yoon.

"You're right, I'm pushing it here a bit. But someone like me ought to gamble to win recognition for my new boss, aren't I right?" Seo Yoon said. "If I expose Replacer Bishop's betrayal and take you out as well....I will get a pretty good standing, aren't i?"

"Really, you wanna go all the way, girl....it's not too late, you know? Maybe we can give you some leniency if you surrender to us, you know?" Sylvia said in an attempt to negotiate with Seo Yoon.

"Hahaha, Why don't you say that when you destroy the core? Clearly, you are the one cornered right now." Seo Yoon said haughtily.

"Cornered? Us? We destroyed your transmitter thingy. You're the one who is cornered." Mina said.

"I'd hate to burst your bubble but we can always make a new one." Seo Yoon replied. "Nothing changes as long as the Immortal system core is intact."

"I guess we'll smash that too, you think you can stop us by yourself," Mina said.

"Haha, certainly not, I watched how you fight. So, I know what you're capable of. And Y/n...well, If he stays alive that is." Seo Yoon said haughtily.

"If anything happens to him, I'll kill you, Seo Yoon," Mina said in anger and her eyes slowly turned red.

Everybody was shocked hearing Mina say this but Hilde is calm looking at Mina and thought.

'So, he has this much influence on her....just like I was.' Hilde thought bitterly.

"Best of luck, if you manage to break out of the siege and reach Immortal System Core.... I'll do the honors of fighting you myself." Seo Yoon said before leaving and many Replacer's grunts took place.

Back to Y/n

I block Sarah's attacks using my sword and lift my right leg blocking George's punch.

"Hahaha, you can't take both of us on, Y/n. You're weak!!!!" George said.

I deflected Sarah's attack and deflected George's fist making him off balance and spin then kicked George to Sarah's location.

Sarah then dashed with her lightning speed and disappeared from view. Suddenly, I heard a movement behind me and used my sword sheath to block the attack from Replacer's soldier.

I looked at them and Omicron notified me.

"Master, your front!"

I then avoided barely being kicked by Sarah and jumped away.

'They have a number advantage, what should I do?' I thought.

"Master, please regroup first with Commander Hilde."

'Yeah, that's a good idea but they have no intent to let us leave.' I thought.

"Then, we can kill or force them to retreat by slaying many of Replacer's grunt."

'That's a good idea.' I thought.

"Hoho, N/n~, can't hurt us, my bad. Do you want to go to your friends, Sorry, you're gonna stay here with us." Sarah said mockingly standing behind George.

I take a deep breath and relax my body.

I then put in more effort and disappear instantly.

"My techniques? too bad. I already know the trick." Sarah said before disappearing instantly.

George then opens both of his palms and fire appears."Haha, cheap trick-Guhk!" George said before being launched away and crashed to the ground.

"The fuck?!" George cursed before seeing Blue Flash trying to follow something but ended up being hit by something and crashed a bit far away from George and it revealed Sarah was being attacked.

"The hell you doing?! Chase him!" George shouted.

"Well, how about you chase him then!" Sarah shouted angrily.

I then appear standing in front of them.

"Idiots! Kill him!" George shouted in desperation hoping for Y/n's factor to kick in just like earlier to make them stronger.

Replacer's grunt then charges but ends up being cut by my sword.

Sarah then stood up and used her lightning speed to charge at me again but I avoided it and cut another Replacer's grunt.

I then sensed a projectile incoming move my head and saw a fireball coming from George's direction.

I cut another Replacer's grunt and sheathed my sword. Then I avoided Sarah's attack and grabbed her leg.

"Uh oh," Sarah said.

I slam her on the ground and attack Replacer's grunt killing one of them and slam her again.

Next, I throw her beside George a little bit away from him though. I then lift my right hand and it sparks with electromagnetism.

Electromagnetism can influence how matter forms and states it in. So, I manipulate the ground and bind them using it.

"Ugh, let go!!! What are you idiots doing?! Attack him!" George said in the struggle for his body's freedom but I didn't let him along with Sarah who struggles.

Replacer's grunt charged at me but I used my leg instead.

Electricity comes from the ground and I electrocuted them making them fall.

More of them started to fall back.

George and Sarah struggle before choosing to use their power to destroy the ground I hold them with.

They looked at me and George said.

"You'll pay for this humiliation, Y/n," George said before jumping away.

"......you think I love you now? Dream on." Sarah said before jumping away.

I consider chasing them but more important matter at hand. My comms suddenly goes on and I see Hilde's hologram.

"Robot, you're alright?!" Hilde said in worry.

"I'm fine. Besides, there are more retreated. Do we need to regroup or chase them?" I asked Hilde.

"Regroup first," Hilde said and I nodded and hung up the comms.

'Hm, they got stronger over time but for some reason, my nanite is getting faster and stronger than before, did you do something, Omicron?' I thought suspiciously.

"Yes. I will give you information now." Omicron said then suddenly my head is flooded with information.

'Cognomite, Magimite,Organite and Orgamech, the hell? Holy, how come you didn't give me these earlier?!'

"Due apologize, it just you have a mission and it is not good to have you distracted."

'I see.' I thought before learning more information and leaving to regroup with the Fenrir squad.

Timeskip by Y/n trying to make a blue beetle suit but ended up getting chaff due suit's tightness.

3rd Pov

"All replacer units have been routed! They're retreating! S-should we pursue them?" Lena's hologram said.

"Don't be ridiculous. Standby and regroup first and wait for further instructions." Hilde replied to Lena.

Y/n then appears slowly by walking and stopping at where the group resides.

"Hmmm...." Hilde hummed looking at Y/n who was shifting nervously.

"Uhhhh, do you need anything?" Y/n asked nervously.

"No...nothing at all. Better check on Rookie, though." Hilde said.

"Oh," Y/n said and looked at Mina who was out of breath.

"Huff...huff..." Mina panted.

"You okay there, Mina?" Shi Yoon asked.

"I feel like I'm gonna pass out," Mina replied.

"Haha, seems you're fine. Oh, Y/n. Seems like you're fine as well." Shi Yoon said.

Mina instantly turns her head and looks at Y/n who is looking at her.

"Yeah, except for the revelation of my ex being a Replacer, I guess I am," Y/n said.

Mina's vein popped and she took a deep breath and stood properly.

"Seems like you're exhausted. Need a little rest?" Y/n asked in concern.

"I'm fine," Mina replied dismissively.

"Sure, and it ends in drama instead like in the novel. Sit there." Y/n said pointing to the rock that can be seated.

".......Fine." Mina said and did what Y/n said.

"Wow, did you do some-" Shi Yoon asked suspiciously.

"Hell no! Who the hell do think I am?!" Y/n shouted embarrassedly.

"Haha, good to know, you didn't then." Shi Yoon said with a smile.

Y/n then goes to Mina who is sitting at some rock.

"Alright, stay still," Y/n said and held out his right hand and green glow wisp appeared and the entire team looked at both of them.

The green wisp then appears and envelopes Mina. Slowly, Mina's breathing is more calm and relaxed.

The green wisps then disappear and Y/n puts down his hand and looks around and sees many people look at him.

"What? Never seen healing at work?" Y/n said and they went back to do their work.

Hilde then goes to Kyle and Sylvia.

"How's everything over there?" Hilde asked.

"If we have time to mobilize more force, it would be good but even with Loner's knowledge, we don't have a lot of time to prepare," Sylvia said.

"Got enough supplies?" Hilde asked.

"What do you think? Look there..." Sylvia said pointing to Kyle who attempted to negotiate with Lena about supplies but failed because the ship was also lacking in supplies.

Sylvia then whispered."You don't think we could Loner's abilities to figure things out?"

"I wish but that means the enemy will learn more about him and that's more dangerous," Hilde replied in a whisper.

"Hah....what kind of TASKFORCE are you? You carry a big ship and yet you don't bring enough supplies with you." Sylvia said.

"And...whose fault is that supplies got raided along with emergency storage if you keep your hands to yourself?" Y/n appeared and retorted making Sylvia flinch.

"By the way, I may have a solution for the sternum drive, Lena," I said making Kyle, Sylvia, and Hilde look at me.

"I can generate electromagnetism and my adaptation factor allows me to generate it infinitely. So, can we use that?" Y/n said.

"That...." Kyle said.

"Hm...." Sylvia hummed,

"No! Denied, Robot, you're not allowed to use that method." Hilde said sternly.

Y/n Pov

After I suggested my plan, Hilde's command was something I never heard.

I looked at her eyes and saw that she was resolute yet there was pain in her eyes.

Well, to be honest, I just use my factor as an excuse, it's just my nanites generating it.

However, the Commander had a different idea.

"I guess we're stuck then," I said dispelling the tension and Hilde sighed in relief.

"Yup," Sylvia said.

"But we still have to keep going?" I said and Hilde nodded.

"Guess it sounds like the novel plot for massive world-building," I said with a poker face and Hilde looked at me with skeptical eyes. "No need to be so judgmental. It's like a protagonist faction, oh my bad, you don't read much."

Hilde gains a tick mark and tries to get at me but fails because I put my hand holding her head.

"Man, being 'superior' feels good," I say teasingly and Hilde gain more tick mark.

"Robot!" Hilde shouted embarrassingly.

"Good to know, you're back, Commander," I said with a smile retracting my hand and Hilde stop trying to hurt me and just sighed.

"Everyone, get ready. We're leaving." Hilde commanded.

Mina and Shi Yoon then walk alongside me.

"Guess it's time, huh." Shi Yoon said with a smile.

"Of course, I need to relieve some of my grudges," I said with a killing intent.

"I...guess. Oh, whatever, as long as you're okay." Mina said.

"I should be saying that to you in the first place," I said as a matter of fact.

"Quiet you!" Mina replied in a flustered tone.

At the same time.

"How come you guys got beaten?" Seo Yoon questioned George and Sarah.

"Tch, if it weren't for some bitch being bitch, I would have won," George replied.

"You called me a bitch?! I should let you dead long if it weren't for my mercy!" Sarah shouted.

"A bitch is a bitch nonetheless, if you can't even kill that loser in the first place, then, you're worthless than a bitch." George said and looked at Seo Yoon and glanced at her outfit. "Though, a bitch can be useful outside of combat, how about it, recruit?" George said in a nice manner.

"......." Seo Yoon has never felt so damn irritated and hellbent on killing someone in the most painful manner but she had the role to play first. "I....think maybe you should take care of the task first."

"Oh, I see," George said and smiled wickedly after that. "I'll wait for that then."

"You dare cheat on me!" Sarah shouted to George. "I thought you were better than that loser in the first place!"

"Tch, be quiet, adults are talking," George said and released his bloodthirst. Sarah then quiet after that. "Now, what were we talking about?"

Seo Yoon really doesn't want to be here right now. Though, if Y/n were to look at her right now......Seo Yoon blushed slightly.

'I need to take care of my job first.' Seo Yoon said trying to remove the thought.

At Mina's location.

'why do I feel I need to mark someone for some reason?' Mina thought before going to stand beside Y/n.

"Something wrong?" Y/n asked Mina in concern.

"Nothing. Just feeling a bit unusual." Mina replied fast.

"Okay....." Y/n said.

'Now, I'm dying to know what event happened to make her like this.' Y/n thought.

3rd Pov

The Fenrir Squad including Y/n along with two of Delta seven and SWAT 4 members walk to reach the Immortal System Core which is guarded by a force barrier and many other Replacer's grunt or their army.

It is also guarded by previous Y/n's old 'friends'.

The Replacer's grunt ceases their attacks while Fenrir's squad and the rest go to Immortal System Core and see Seo Yoon.

"That's impressive. I didn't know you'd break the siege." Seo Yoon commented. "Seriously....who are you people?"

"Misfits," Y/n replied cutting Hilde off who thought about it.

"Seems legit." Shi Yoon said with a smile.

*Nod* Mina nodded.

"Oh...is that so, then why are you working for such a small company on the verge of bankruptcy?" Seo Yoon asked curiously.

"Thanks for the compliment but if you put us in such high regard, why don't you let us through?" Hilde asked nicely.

"Sorry, Commander but I just got this job....you see. So, I need to show off a little bit, you know." Seo Yoon answered.

"Then....where is that two 'trash' I missed to dump straight to hell, noob?" Y/n asked crudely making the people present look shocked. "Oh, my bad, I mean your 'bosses'."

"Quite a vulgar way for someone so polite. Is this your true self, Y/n?" Seo Yoon said but was frozen when Y/n only stared at icily.

"Do not mistake my politeness as a weakness, Seo Yoon. I dismissed you because I have priority to do at this moment." Y/n said coldly making Seo Yoon flinched but she stayed her ground. "Besides, what makes you think we're misfits capable of in the first place?"

"........." Seo Yoon said nothing.

"Sylvia....just in case, do you have anything up on your sleeve?" Hilde asked quietly.

"I do...sort of...but it needs time to prepare it," Sylvia said.

".....We'll give you time," Hilde said.

Y/n Pov

My instinct blared up when I sensed something coming.

"Everyone, get ready. Enemies incoming." I said to everyone and suddenly, a horde of Replacer Pawns emerged.

"Insects! I have returned!"

"Useless scum!"

"I am Replacer....i am Finley....i am who??"

"Eeekk!....what is that?!" Yumi shouted in disgust.

"I thought I've seen many things but this...tops the chart," Soyoung said.

"Sis, here. " I said summoning my new gun and throwing it to Soyoung who caught it. "Use it to shoot them and shake them for refill."

"Thanks, Lil bro!" Soyoung shouted in reply and I nodded.

"Haha, be careful, officers, They may look fu-"

"Creepy," I said cutting Shi Yoon off.

"Creepy, but they pack a punch of heavyweight C.Os." Shi Yoon corrected himself.

He then whispers to Hilde.

"Master, you may caught on already but Mina's been subconsciously emitting an increasing amount of energy." Shi Yoon said in a whisper but I heard it.

"......." Hilde said nothing.

"Are you going to stand back and watch or are you...."Shi Yoon said before Hilde cut him off.

"No...not yet. She hasn't crossed the line yet...as long as we didn't do what Yubin did...and forcibly extract from her....it's not enough to wake them up yet." Hilde answered.

'Them? Who?' I thought and suddenly my instinct blared again and I moved toward the front and i summoned my sword and unsheathed it blocking a blue blast and deflecting it.

"Sarah," I said making all people look at her along with George beside her.

"Well, well, well, nice to see you again here, loser," George said.

I said nothing and unsheathed my sword and subtly filled it with electromagnetic energy.

"Have you grown a spine after meeting with a team of misfits?" George asked mockingly.

A shot was fired and hurt his cheek.

"Argh! My cheek!" George said and touched his burned cheek and looked at Soyoung who shot him with the gun I lent.

"I remember you, you were the one that bitch cheated with," Soyoung said seriously making people present look at both of them.

"You fucker!" George said as his cheek healed which I noticed.

'Guess the factor kicked in.' I thought.

George then dashed instantly to Soyoung but I appeared in front of her in the air and kicked him but he blocked it with both of his hands as I sent him flying far away.

I landed and looked at Hilde.

"Commander, I leave her to you," I said to Commander Hilde who nodded and faced against Seo Yoon.

I look at Sarah and electromagnetism crackles around my body. I instantly appeared in front of her grabbed her head and lifted her while she grabbed my arm trying to loosen the grip but it didn't.

I then lifted her up and released her. She had a shocked face and I was in a position to punch her.

"E.M. Punch," I said coldly punching Sarah's face with my infused with E.M. energy.

The result is that she was flung to where George is and crashed into him.

"Gurghk!" George said. "What the?" George said with Sarah in his arm having a terrible face burn that is slowly healing.

George then drops her roughly and sees me standing on a rock pillar.

"Ouch!" Sarah shouted upon landing.

"Time for payback," I said.

A/n: I will take a long time to build a new chapter due to some real-life events and work. So, with that, constructive criticism is appreciated. By the way, E.M. refers to electromagnetic. Y/n chose this ability to camouflage his overpowered nanite power.

Y/n: You will be gone for a long time?

Shin Jia: This cannot stand! i don't even debut yet in the chapter! A/n, you better come back or else!

Hilde: *Ready Fafnir and Regin and activate her jetpack* You better come back....or else....i unleash her.

Mina: Uhh, she already at large right now? Should we chase her?
