"Things aren't going quite according to plans, I presume?" RB(?) said.

After she said that, all of us is on guard.

"W-who are you?" Yumi asked.

"You're..." Hilde trailed off.

"Ah, you've slain Progressive Factor Collapser so easily. You've exceeded my expectations." RB(?) said."Indeed, going head to head with you would prove a risky endeavor, even for me." RB(?) admitted.

"And who might you be?" Soyoung said."Considering the timing, are you the Mastermind?"

"Correct. Supplying that poor fool with Elixir concentrate is one of my missions." RB(?) said.

"That explains the recipe," Soyoung said.

"Mina. Stay calm." Shi Yoon said. "You know Y/n already explains it...She's..."

"I know, It's fine." Mina said at glances at Y/n who looks at RB(?) with a neutral face and looks back to RB(?)." Narae is already dead."

"Narae?...Ah, you must be referring to the source body." RB(?) said.

"Source body?" Mina asks interested.

"That human you refer to provided the foundational data required for my construction." RB(?) said.

"Knight and I inherited our respective source genetic information, Mutation Factor, and memories." RB(?) said.

Y/n Pov

I thought what she said and realized by using memories to rebuild a person exactly the same but it got me thinking.

'Hey, Omicron?'

"Yes?"

'Does this mean she is the same person?'

"Arguably, no. Because even if she inherits the source memory, it doesn't mean that they experience the same as the original. So, you can consider them to be different."

'That being said, she also said knight, right?'

"Yes."

'She has an ulterior motive and wants to gain something from us, then.' I thought.

Then, I heard Mina asking RB(?).

"Y-you have Narae's memories?" Mina said and look at me and I shake my head implying that's not Narae. RB(?) is watching curiously between us.

"I am Replacer Bishop projecting information from the information in the Progressive Factor collected from her." RB(?) said."I am Arbiter of System Terraside."

'Omicron, scan her signal and try to locate it. Inform me when you got anything.'

"Understood.Scanning."

"What?" Mina said dumbfoundedly and I had to resist head patting her to read the mood.

"So, you say you're Replacer Bishop? What business do you have with us? Your prophet is dead, this is your chance to cut loose ends, yet you decided to appear here. Do you come here for a fight?" Hilde said.

'Indeed, you could say that Magellan's death is perfect to cut loose ends in order to hide yet she chooses to appear. But, there's a high percentage that she won't fight and I get the feeling that there is something at play. Wait, if she's here...that means where is Knight?' I thought suspiciously.

"No, I surrender." RB(?) said.

"...Huh?" Hilde said.

"Oh?" Shi Yoon said.

"W-what's going on?! I'm confused!" Mina said.

'Lies, there is much information withheld such as why did you surrender? What is your objective I'm pretty sure that they were aware of me when I told Omicron to read their lips. And specifically, WHAT do you want from us? Wait, if I were an enemy, then...'

I look at RB(?) who looks at me curiously.

"It's exactly as it sounds. I had no intention to fight you. Even my source is defeated at your hands. There seems to be no profit in engaging in a battle with the predestined outcome." RB(?) said to everyone."Now, do with me as you please."

"Lies," I said catching everyone's attention.

"....Pardon?" RB(?) ask me.

"That's a lie. You may not engage in physical battle but you're playing with our mind right now." I said coolly.

"Your point being?" RB(?) asked.

"Can you cut off connection with your comrade?" I said and she look shocked and wide-eyed.

"Umm,lil bro, what's going on?" Soyoung said sweating.

"She's lying," I said to her without taking my eyes off her.

"Yeah, but lie about what?" Soyoung said.

"This might be above your pay grade you know," I said to her.

"Uh, nevermind then." Soyoung said making Yumi ticked off.

"Lieutenant Kang!" Yumi shouted.

"What do you mean, Robot?" Hilde asked me while Mina and Shi Yoon looks at me.

"What do you think arbiter word stands for?" I asked Hilde.

"Someone with ultimate authority in the matter?" Hilde answered.

"a powerful person?" Shi Yoon answered.

"Judge?" Mina answered.

"And what do you think she's 'Arbiter' off?" I said.

"....Terraside?" Mina said then realized what I said along with Shi Yoon and Hilde.

"Umm, what's going on here?" Soyoung asked.

"Hah, it's your call, Commander." I said."Ultimately, I can only give information I can find but I don't have any authority, so, it's up to you to make that choice." I said.

".....Take her in for now," Hilde said.

Timeskip by Replacer Bishop is being transported to Coffin Company ship.

3rd Pov

"........This is rather unexpected.I thought you know who would be the first to visit me." RB(?) said.

"Sorry to disappoint." Hilde retorted."But it's too risky to let rookie come see you just yet."

"......Seems like you already know what I am." RB(?) said.

"Good. Let's cut to the chase." Hilde said."You don't really expect us to believe in earnest, aren't you?"

"......."

"It's because you want something from the rookie, aren't you?" Hilde asked vaguely."Then, stage a fake betrayal to convince us that you're a rogue from them and pull desperate attempts for Rookie to follow, isn't it?"

"!!!!!" RB(?) said."H-how did you?"

"Then, something along the line of giving us the hint for the HQ and asking something from us." Hilde quipped."Yeah, this is really suspicious, all right."

"Y-you...."RB(?) choked on her words.

"Damn, Robot sure knows how to read people," Hilde said boldly.

"Robot.....it's that guy, isn't it?" RB(?) asked.

"Pretty much," Hilde answered truthfully seeing as RB(?) does not know Y/n's true abilities.

"There's something you did not know. System Terraside is actually..."RB(?) said.

"Knockoff of Immortal System, one of the reality interference technologies of the Old Administration," Hilde answered shocking RB(?) again. "Let me guess, why you've been spreading Elixir as well. In order to operate Immortal System, you will need a tremendous transcendental Mutation Factor. I believe you guys call it Replacer Factor."

"You guys use human bodies as factories to mass produce Replacer Factor because it is essentially a self-replicating nanomachine made of Eternium," Hilde said.

'I wonder if Robot nanotech is the same? I'll ask him later.' Hilde thought.

"Ha, they're always someone plotting involving Rookie one way or another." Hilde sighed."Sit tight and get some rest."

Hilde then walks her way out but suddenly RB(?) said.

"Wait, what about you?" RB(?) said making Hilde stop." You're the only one who has custody over both of them, right now."

"Both?" Hilde asked and turn back. RB(?) realized Hilde does not know why Y/n is sought after by Replacers.

"What is your plan with Robot?" Hilde asked."He's a normal human as far as I know."

'Without that nanite in his body probably.' Hilde thought suspiciously.

'I tried to search everything about him and he has a terrible past and moves to his hometown with his parents to his grandfather but I didn't find anything beyond his grandfather other than the fact that he used to be Counter.' Hilde thought.

'Sure, he has a terrible past but his lineage is also normal people. So, why Replacer is interested in him? If I remember correctly, yes he was under that police care for a while.' Hilde thought.

"Oh, nothing. I highly doubt you know why, Commander Hilde." RB(?) said vaguely.

"........" Seeing RB(?) refused to talk, Hilde leaves the place and encounters Shi Yoon.

"Haha, indeed, I want to know why....Master?" Shi Yoon said.

"Shi Yoon....were you eavesdropping?" Hilde asked.

"When someone who normally couldn't care less about interrogation speaks to a prisoner. I am bound to get curious." Shi Yoon replied with a smile.

"Didn't I teach you, curiosity killed the cat?" Hilde said with a warning." Or have you already forgotten?"

"Cats? Do you mean...like my parents? Or you, Master?" Shi Yoon replied.

".............." Hilde keeps quiet.

"As you know, I'm not exactly a model apprentice anyway." Shi Yoon said."And even if I remember what you told me, I can be a bit of a rebel. Especially, since you returned or to be precise, since I met Mina."

"Tell me, Master. Hasn't it been your policy to dispose of anyone who used that power? When Mina used that mysterious sword...and when she faced off against that Na Yubin guy in the Counterside...Mina definitely used that power albeit only a little each time." Shi Yoon said."You're not going to tell me, you didn't know that, aren't you?"

"But you haven't done anything to Mina about it. You only shielded her from the truth of what Bishop said. It's as if you worried that a fern you tended so delicately would wither from sunlight. Tell me, Master? What makes her an exception? What makes her different from my parents? What makes her so special?"

"I will not answer that," Hilde said.

"Master?" Shi Yoon asked.

"Remember what I said when I took you in as my apprentice? Whether you wanted revenge or an answer...you would have to earn through your own strength. It's been many years...since I met you like that. Well, are you confident enough now? Do you want to test your mettle now?" Hilde said.

They then walk together and see Y/n standing in the middle of the massacre holding his sword and gun. Around him were Replacer Troops.

Hilde looks around and Y/n looks at them and says.

"We got a situation, Commander."

Meanwhile

"............" Seo Yoon said nothing.

"Cap......are you sure about this?" Eujin said worriedly."You're welcome to take a longer break, you know."

"S-she's right. I-isn't it too early for you to get back to the field; so soon after you were discharged from the hospital?" Sobin said.

"I'll be fine." Soo Yeon said reassuring them."I do appreciate your concern though."

"B-but..." Sobin said.

"Seriously, I'm fine." Seo Yoon said."It's not like I broke anything anyway. I've rested up plenty as it is. It's time to play catchup."

".........We've received a message." Xiao Lin said."They're telling us to gather in the ops room."

"Hear that? Let's keep moving. We wouldn't want to keep Vice President waiting too long."

3rd Pov

"That! Was! Totally!Freaking! Awesome!" Sylvia shouted in hologram."Awesome!Awesome!Awesome!Awesome!"

"You guys deserve a medal, a trophy, and an ice cream sundae for this! They should build you a statue!"

"I'm glad you're satisfied, Sylvia." Soo Yeon said."By the way, our new employee also said you should receive this message from him."

Suddenly, Y/n's hologram appeared.

"Sylvia, If you heard this. I'm willing to bet you will say something along the lines of medal, trophy, and ice cream sundae along with the statue. Hell no, I want pay raise." The hologram said with the most straight face and disappear.

"............"Sylvia's eyes twitched and coughed."Seems like you guys managed to do it."

"Ahem, unfortunately, he also said and I quote" salt looks like sugar." Unquote." Soo Yeon said.

".........I see.Alright, thanks for the message." Sylvia said hanging up the call.

"Seems like there's no need to do Operation Ripoff, then." Manager Kim said making Soo Yeon flinch.

"I guess that means we can spend more budget on Management then." Manager Kim said jovially and Soo Yeon sighed in relief.

Manager Kim then goes away to do her work.

"ALT Squad, reporting for duty." Seo Yoon appear and said."If you're busy, we can come back later?" Alt Squad enters after Soo Yeon.

"Ahem, are you feeling better, Yoon?" Soo Yeon said.

"Thanks to you, ma'am. Much better." Seo Yoon said.

"That's good. Let me start with a brief overview of the current situation." Soo Yeon said.

"I heard Fenrir squad has taken custody and escorting this key figure of this incident." Seo Yoon said.

"Exactly, who filled you in?" Soo Yeon said.

"I've been checking my work email every day even at the hospital." Seo Yoon said.

"Ah, as diligent as always. I wish those three idiots were half as diligent as you." Soo Yeon said.

"Haha, thank you for the compliment." Seo Yoon said.

'She didn't mention Y/n for some reason.' Seo Yoon thought in her mind.

'Glad Robot can fill our extra manpower and is extremely good but he's too good.' Soo Yeon thought sweatdrop.

"Anyway, Sylvia will be here soon to take custody." Soo Yeon said."It's your job to keep assets secure and switch with Fenrir as soon as Coffin Ship arrives."

Suddenly, Lena's hologram appears.

"Uh, Ma'am, reporting situation......" Lena said hesitantly.

"Have we connected yet, Lena?" Mina said appearing in a hologram.

"Let me talk with her, Rookie." Hilde appears."Alright, we got a situation, Soo Yeon. Replacer posing as the crew has infiltrated and Robot already takes care of them. Unfortunately, he also said that the stage has been set and something else is happening."

"That's not good. Sylvia is already on the way here. We cannot let them have Replacer Bishop, no matter what." Soo Yeon said.

"Send backup instead of lecturing, Soo Yeon, Robot has already destroyed most of them anyway. Ah, Robot, you're here?" Hilde said casually and Soo Yeon along with ALT Squad flinch over what Hilde said.

"Yeah, already take care of them, Commander. By the way, I'm covered in blood right now. So, don't get close, all of you." Y/n appear and said."Have we already reported this?"

"Yeah, so what happens?" Hilde asked.

"They want to extract Bishop and make Bishop act like a rogue and willing to shoot her," Y/n said.

"You hear that, Soo Yeon?" Hilde said and Soo Yeon nodded."Over and out."

The call then hangs up.

"Did you get that, Yoon? Forget whatever I said and link up with Fenrir Squad and defend the Coffin Ship at all costs." Soo Yeon said."Move out right away."

"Wilco." Seo Yoon said.

At Coffin Ship.

"is it over?" Lena said from Command Post.

"Pretty much," Y/n said.

Y/n Pov

Good grief, to think that Replacer is going on the move. This knowledge is never something I expect.

*Shudder* I shudder because I feel something is not right when I was walking by at hangar.

"This is because you have a sixth sense that was inherited from Rex Salazar's ability."

'Just a question, though, does that mean I have the ability that Rex Salazar doesn't have?'

"Yes. Because, ultimately your power is only based on him and our existence creates a new possibility of using that power."

'I see.'

"Something wrong, Y/n?" Mina said making me aware that she is in front of me and was using her toe to look at me in the eye. Seeing her suddenly like this, I instinctively step back a step and calm down.

Mina also stopped using her toes to look at me.

"I'm fine, just thinking," I said defusing Mina's worry.

But Mina just look at me with an unchanging expression.

"Say, is it true you have an ex?" she said and I flinched. Seeing this, Mina decided to stop asking her question."Never mind that you should clean up, though."

"Oh," I said looking at my body and thought.

'Omicron, do the honors?'

"Certainly, Master."

Suddenly, there is water around me and it spirals around me taking the blood along with it and disappearing into vapor.

"Done," I said and looks at Mina who jaw dropped.

"How?!" she shouted.

"Hehe, secret," I said mischievously.

"Hnngggghhh!" Mina pouted.

Timeskip By Chibi Y/n trying to be macho only to be rammed by Chibi Mina and Chibi Seo Yoon.

3rd Pov

"........" Seo Yoon said nothing holding the phone."As I said....I'm going to do this my way. Stay out of it."

"Just don't forget to keep your end of the bargain." Seo Yoon said.

"......"

"Cap?" Eujin asks as she passed by.

"Oh, hey, Eujin." Seo Yoon said turn around.

"I-I didn't know you were on the phone." Eujin reply."Sorry...I hope I didn't interrupt."

Seo Yoon heard what Eujin said and her face morphed into an angry look.

"How much of that did you hear?" Seo Yoon said.

"N-not much...really..."Eujin replies meekly.

Then, Kang Soyoung appears.

"Hello!" Soyoung shouted.

"Gee, whiz! You guys save our butts." Soyoung said."You guys are the ALT Squad, right? Well, if you got here a moment later...I'm sure it'll be fine anyway since he's here but still thank you."

"I'm glad we made it on time as well." Seo Yoon replied."Anyway...you are?"

"Lieutenant Kang Soyoung,at your service. I'm with the Counter's investigation team of police. I'm also Y/n's former guardian." Soyoung said.

"Oh! That's unexpected!" Seo Yoon said."He never said anything about his personal life."

"Is that so?" Soyoung said and smiled sadly."I see...thank you for telling me that."

"D-did something happen?" Eujin asked.

"....." Soyoung said nothing and shake her head."Nothing, it's not my right to speak about what happened. That being said, who were you talking to on the phone just now?"

".....Sorry?" Seo Yoo said surprised.

"Oh, It's nothing. I just happened to grab a glimpse when I was passing by." Soyoung said."You had this grim look on your face, that's all."

"........." Seo Yoon let out a surprised face.

"I was wondering whom you might have been speaking to, with such a scary look on your face."

"Hey, what are you doing?!"Eujin shouted." is this some kind of interrogation? This is an invasion of privacy!"

"......."

"Oh....haha....you're right...I got a bit excited with whom Y/n works for, so, I was naturally curious. i was out of line, aren't I?" Soyoung said and rubbing her neck."It just comes with the job and I can't help asking people questions."

'Well, Y/n predicted all kinds of questions I would when he was in my care though, so, I got a tad excited.' Soyoung thought.

"Sorry.Terribly sorry." Soyoung said.

"Sorry won't cut it, lady!" Eujin shouted.

"It's okay, Eujin." Seo Yoon said.

"B-but.."Eujin hesitated.

"I can tell you. It's not much of a secret...You see the person who we're supposed to escort is the same person who abducted me in the last operation." Seo Yoon said.

"So, you got a beef with her?" Soyoung asked.

"Beef? Ah, yes..you could call it that." Seo Yoon answered."After some talk with my psychiatrist, I made a deal, that if I complete this mission without problem, I would be certified as completely cured."

"A-ha." Soyoung said.' Now, that's suspicious because I know some common signs of trauma. I mean Y/n also have a mental problem when he was under my care but you don't have it.'

"I guess I've been on edge because of stress." Seo Yoon said." Sorry if I misled you in any way."

"Oh, don't worry. If anything, I'm sorry for pestering you for no reason." Soyoung said."I need to work on that."

"Alright, I'll see you around." Seo Yoon said and goes elsewhere.

"Will do," Soyoung replied.

"......."Eujin said nothing and look at Seo Yoon back with a sad face.

"Hm, " Soyoung said to no one."Well, time to look at Y/n!"
