"Things are getting more and more complicated." Xiao Lin said to Seo Yoon."What do you think, Cap?"

"We can't always have things go our way. That's the way of the world." Seo Yoon answered."Then again, it is not all that bad considering we have a new helper. This will end sooner or later because we got involved with them."

"She's right but speaking of that guy, where does the sword come from?" Eujin questioned.

"Hmm about that, his sword doesn't match with anything from Administration technology."

"Eh? Really?!" The ALT squad said.

"Yeah."

"Dang, he must be smart to create something like that, then," Eujin said

"Of course it is, you can't be dumb to make something like that." Xiao Lin retorted.

"What do you just say?! Come back here!!"

"...Cap," Sobin said.

"It's fine, it's not like we're idling around either. We're strong and we can." Seo Yoon said.

Sobin nodded and Seo Yoon looks at Y/n back unnoticed considering he was talking to Mina.

Y/n Pov

"Hmm, I wonder what CounterSide looks like," I said to myself.

"Oh, first time?" Mina asked.

"Yes."

"You'll see it later. By the way, how's it going with those gadgets at your arm?" Mina asked about the gadget I received earlier.

"Got everything grasped, thanks for asking."'With Omicron help.' I answered.

*Chuckles*" Seeing you like this for some reason, I get the feeling that everything will be alright."

"Don't worry, just do your job."

"Hm"

3rd Pov

The ship that goes to Counterside used by the Coffin Company is called Coffin. It then lifted slowly from the ground and goes right up floating even further on the tallest building. Then, it stopped after a considerable height. After that, a portal is opening and the ship enters it going to another world called CounterSide.

Y/n Pov

The ship is floating and entering the portal. After it passed through the portal, I feel my body is acting up. I then asked Omicron.

'Omicron, what's happening?'

"Do not worry, Master. The nanite in your body is merely adapting to the surrounding environment, it will stop later."

Seconds later, my body feels better, in fact, better.

'Never known, the adaptation is this fast.'

I then look at the front and sees many crumbled building, cracked streets, broken cars and I looks at my arm and sees the percentage of my CRF down a little.

'Omicron, can you give me the percentage of CRF you built?'

"Certainly, Master."

Then, a percentage of my CRF is shown in my vision.

'Thanks.'

"You're welcome."

"So, this is CounterSide." I whisper to myself.

"Alright, considering the team, Rookie, You, Shi Yoon will be with me," Hilde said taking my attention and I notice she isn't using my name for some reason. However, I just shrugged it and nodded."Seo Yoon will take her squad as usual and other people can work with their team." Seo Yoon nodded and get ready to stand by. The ship then slowly landed and the hatch open slowly I walked out with Fenrir's team after Sylvia goes out first.

"Alright, time to work my magic then." Sylvia said and fiddled with her tech."Done. Follow me." Sylvia said that The Coffin Ship is floating up for standby after the last team goes out. Me and Fenrir's team follow Sylvia and the rest follow suit. I keep watching my surroundings and gripped my sword tight.

After a while, Sylvia stopped and pointed somewhere."There are C. Os here, you guys handle it."

"Alright, Shi Yoon with me, Rookie, you with him," Hilde said and brandished her dual sword and dash towards a cluster of C.Os with Shi Yoon following suit.

"Come on, Y/n," Mina said and goes towards another part of a cluster of C.Os. The C.Os notice Hilde with Shi Yoon and go attack them. The two swiftly destroy every C.Os that they come across. Meanwhile, Mina shoots with her gun and I cover her every time she shoots. A C.Os jumped at me, I brandishes my sword and simultaneously cleaved it in half. Two C.Os then run at me and Mina shoots one of them and I slash at one of them. Then, Mina runs in my direction and jumped and shoots toward a group of C.Os and landed and looks at me.

"Not bad," I said making a thumbs up though I didn't notice she has slight pink on her cheeks. "Time for my turn then." I sheathed my sword and dash behind Mina and I unsheathed my sword and swung my sword toward a group of C.Os behind Mina. The swing I make releases a wave of light purple energy in the shape of a crescent moon. The C.Os that were in the area were unfortunate and got burned and reduced to ashes.

"How's that?" I said to Mina putting my sword on my shoulder.

"Dang it," Mina said and I sheathed my sword and looks at my surroundings and found no C.Os and I goes to Hilde.

"What is it?" Hilde asked.

"No C.Os remained," I said. Hilde nodded and looks at Sylvia who is watching us and looks to Hilde.

"We can move on now," Hilde said to Sylvia and Sylvia nodded and continue to lead the way.

Mina Pov

After Y/n's little performance, Mason walks beside Mina and said something.

"I had my doubts but it seemed like your victory isn't by coincidence in the last mission," Mason said.

"Uh...Haha! I'm not so used in taking to taking compliments..." Mina replied.

"Um...I wasn't talking about you, young lady. I was talking about your little commander and the boy next to her." Mason replied.

"Hey! Mister!" Mina shouted in shock."Hmm, what about Y/n, then?" Mina asked feeling a little curious.

"Hm...truth, to be honest, I don't know because he seemed like hiding many things from himself. So, yeah." Mason replied.

'I see, wait, now that I think about it, I almost know nothing about him...Maybe after this...'

"Enough chit-chat! Let's move quickly! Where's our next destination?" Hilde said.

3rd Pov

"According to the coordinates, we should head over to the outskirts of the city center. Considering your teammate already reveal what we want to search. No need for secrecy then." Sylvia said.

"...Alright then, let's go. The ship should stay airborne and monitor the area." Hilde said.

"Wilco, Commander," Lena said through communicator.

Then, all of us moves with Sylvia's guidance until Xiao Lin speaks thorough the communicator.

"12 o'clock. Large C.O. detected.300 clicks out. Likely Category 3."

"What's their behavior like?" Seo Yoon asked.

"They don't seem to be hostile just yet. But..." Xiao Lin replied."Based on the C.Os in the vicinity, that must be their nest."

"Did you get all that, Commander Hilde?" Seo Yoon said.

"Hmm..." Hilde ponders before looking at Y/n who is breathing a bit heavy but not too noticeable before Lena spoke.

"Engaging one battle after another may lead to severe combat fatigue. if possible, I recommend a limited infiltration as an alternative to direct confrontation." Lena said.

"No. Our objective is right where that cluster is at." Sylvia interrupted."We have to take them out now before they'll come to bite us from behind later. Let's wipe them clean like last time."

"But we already used up almost all of our tactical supplies!" Lena argued."We don't have much left!"

"What do you mean? I hacked into tactical C4I and saw a bunch of reserves in storage." Sylvia said

"But that's.." Lena said and shouted." Hang on! Why would you hack my computer in the first place?!"

"why not? All databases are made to be hacked. Didn't you know that?" Sylvia retorted."Oh, you should probably change your firewall settings. It's been over 3 years since the last update."

Y/n Pov

'I'm not sure how to feels about this conversation.' I thought to myself considering what Sylvia said about her doing.'Considering I'm only amateur at hacking in my past lives.'

Then, I heard Hilde stops the arguments.

"...Alright, That's enough."

"Seriously! I don't think which way we go. Sound the same to me." Shi Yoon said

"Rookie? What about you?"

"I don't care as long as I get some Eternium," Mina said

Then, Hilde looks at me.

"Uh, just following your order right now," I said considering I don't have much experience in CounterSide.

"Okay then. We'll all go in. I'm sure they'll be done quibbling by the time we get back." Hilde said and the Fenrir team along with the ALT team and Mason follows Hilde to where the cluster at. Hilde then rushes to C.Os's cluster and attacks one of them by using one of her swords and sending it flying. The rest then notices and tries to jump on her but was shot by Mina and Shi Yoon appears behind Hilde and dashes to the C.Os's back and slices the poor C.Os's. More come filing their places and I dashed to them and slash one of them and use my sheath as a second sword. Then, another C.Os come and run to me but I slash it into half.

A group of C.Os then comes and Seo Yoon orders the ALT squad to destroy it at this point is what I could only describe as a massacre as I continue to slash the enemy that was keep coming. Hilde then jumped backward and lands on some circle and dash forward and swings duel swords forward slashing one by one enemy.

Shi Yoon then swings his large sword which unravels the bandages around and destroys a large amount of C.Os. I then looked around and sees everybody else already killing C. Os without much effort and sees another cluster coming. Seeing this situation, I just provided support to the Fenrir team which I admit I was not really contributing much, to be honest.

Timeskip by Y/n destroying a leftover C.Os without Fenrir and ALT squad knowledge.

3rd Pov

"G-great job!" Sobin said to Shi Yoon.

"You too, Sobin. That was really impressive! You fended those C.Os flanking us all by yourself although our new teammate just only provided cover." Shi Yoon said.

"Heh. It was nothing..."

"I can see why they call you Miss Big Guns..."

"W-w-w-what? What do you mean? I-I don't know what you are talking about!"

"Really? I saw references to the Goddess of Destruction and Miss Big Guns in the comm log from the previous operation. I thought It was talking about you for sure...Am I wrong?" Shi Yoon.

"Haha! Haha! That's impossible!" Sobin said running away and going to Mina and Y/n who is currently wiping sweat with his hand."Oh Hey! Mina! Take this! It's an energy bar! And Mr! Please take this!" Sobin said to Y/n who is looking at her hand which is an energy bar.

"Thank you," Y/n said and take the energy bar.

"Huh?" Mina looks at Sobin then me."Oh...T-thanks." Mina then takes the energy bar. Sobin then goes to her team, the ALT squad.

"You've been acting strange lately," Eujin said to Sobin.

"Huh?W-what?"

"You've been hanging around with them a lot lately. Are you up to something...?"

"Uh...N-no...would you like an energy bar too? Here." Sobin gives Eujin an energy bar.

"Hey! Do you think this is about your stupid energy bar?........... Actually, W-would you happen to have a cheesed-flavoured one?"

Y/n who heard that is sweatdropping.

"Is something wrong, Y/n?" Mina asked him.

"Nothing."

Then, we all return to the rendezvous point including Sylvia and Lena who are done arguing.

"Hey, Did you find that Lost Ship?" Hilde asked Sylvia."Is that ship even here?"

"It should be here somewhere...How strange...I don't think the coordinates were accurate...We'll have to manually search the vicinity."

"Did you hear that, my apprentice?" Hilde said to Shi Yoon but he goes somewhere."Where are you going?"

"Haha! I think I twisted my ankle during the last fight so it's a bit sore. I'd love to help but unfortunately, I can't walk right now.*sigh* what a shame...Sorry, I'll be at the infirmary for the time being."

"Don't worry. Your ankle will heal right up once you get some exercise." Hilde said and pulling Shi Yoon's ear.

"M-Master! Please don't pull my ear! Ouch!!!!"

"I guess it's time to earn my keep here," Mason said besides Y/n and Mina.

"And how's that?" I asked him and Mina nodded along.

"A Lost Ship has a unique resonance wavelength. Once you figure out the frequency, you can find it through a simple radar search."

Y/n Pov

'Omicron, you got that?'

"Certainly, searching frequency....Object detected."

Suddenly, a radar image shows up in my vision I walk, and Mina follows me.

"Hmm, I thought you'll be with your team," I asked Mina.

"Well, this is your first time in CounterSide, right? If something happens..."

"I see, thanks. Mina." I said without looking at her.

"S-Sure," Mina replied though I didn't see the pink hue on her cheeks.

3rd Pov

"Hmm, seems interesting toy you have there, Mason," Sylvia said to Mason.

"Gah! I swear you talk to little commander over there."

"Says what's about frequency?" Sylvia asked."I know Y/n had no literal idea about ships and just read a book considering there are books about ships and but he doesn't know what kind of Lost Ship is about...Come to think of it, the Replacer Knight VeriChip you sent over had traces of data being copied by forensics analysis." Sylvia looks at Mason."I wonder why... and who."

"Ahem."*Cough*

"...Let's just say you owe me one, Mr."

"Hey, Shi Yoon. Are all people from the States like that? She humiliates someone twice her age!"

"No. that's just her having fun along with her brain," Y/n said.

"Huh? How so?" Mina asked me and Shi Yoon looked at me.

"That one time when I watched TV, she hacked just to see what I'm doing and I was half naked at that time," I said recalling the previous Y/n memory.

"Eh?!!!"

"Oh my. That was bold." Shi Yoon said.

"Hold up! Loner! That was one time!" Sylvia shouted.

"So, you do admit you do it then?" I asked.

"Guh!"

*Cough*" Alright, find anything?"Hilde coughed but if one looks closely, a tint of pink is there.

"This was definitely the right way to go about it." Sylvia said after gaining composure."In fact, I think we already found it." Sylvia said before moving in the direction I am facing.

"Hmm."Hilde hummed.

"Ohh." Shi Yoon said.

Timeskip by Chibi Y/n tries to act cute but fails.

"But we're too late," Sylvia said after looking at the rendezvous place which is full of Replacer Camp.

We were on the outskirts of the city and near the Replacer Camp and waiting for the order.

"Looks like they've been excavating from the ground. No wonder it was so hard to find. How on earth did they find it? Are they gophers or something" Sylvia said looking at the camp.

"Those are..." Mina gasps.

"Replacers. A whole lot of them." Mason said.

Y/n Pov

I look at the camp which is full of Replacers.

'Dang, that's a lot.'

"Those scumbags!" Mina shouted and I looks at her.

"Easy now, rookie. We have a lot of time to take them down." Hilde said.

"Say, Sylvia...Is lost ship you search there?" Hilde said.

Sylvia looks at me and said."...Yeah."

"By the way, what is Lost Ship?" Mina asked.

"It's a mysterious ship that is found in various parts of the world or in CounterSide, Mina." Shi Yoon said.

"A mysterious ship?"

"It appears to be extremely old but nobody knows who made it and where...or how it got lost there.No one knows about the ship, hence the mystery."

"Why bother finding a ship like that?"

"Because many interesting things are often found in Lost Ship."

"And government tends to want things like this in control if some organization is enough threats, that's why." I said making everybody look at me who is looking back on Replacer Camp."Good grief, what kind of organizations is enough to warrant government attention?"

"Oh..."Mina said.

"Seems like you had experience, Mr." Shi Yoon said.

"Thanks, I learned from the movie," I replied.

All people had sweatdrops hearing that answer.

"Now, that you're done talking...we're going to go recover the Lost Ship from Replacers.As you all know, they may not look much but they are capable of transforming into more powerful hybriders. Stay frosty. Go!" Hilde said to all of us and jumped to the Replacer who is shocked but got sliced by one of Hilde's swords.

3rd Pov

"Hey, miss..."Mason said to Seo Yoon before she was about to go to Replacer Camp.

"Yes..?"

"How about we get some insurance before we go inside?"

"Insurance?"

"Yes,I don't mean to be all nosy...But I noticed last time that those hybriders were particularly interested in you. i can't be certain but I've got a feeling Lost Ship won't be the end of this mission."

"Is that your gut feeling as a seasoned mercenary? Or did you get that from the chip I give you?"

"Both."

"Anyway, I don't think it's a bad idea to prepare for the worst."

"So? what are you suggesting?"

"Let's each take this pill."

"What's inside?"

"Something interesting."

Timeskip.

"Never retreat...no matter what! Secure the ship...at all costs! Obliterate-" A hybrider said before it was sliced by Y/n and sheathed his sword.

"I'm getting sick of these guys already," Mina said.

"To be fair, who cares." I retorted.

"Hush, you." Mina lightly punched me before seeing Shi Yoon beside her.

"Shi Yoon, are you listening?"

"...."

"Oh, Mina. what did you just say?"

"Nothing. what are you thinking so intently?"

"Oh, just something I found very curious. why on earth did they create this monster?"

"To create supersoldiers? Like Mason said. Capable of reasoning but with the body of C.Os"

"But aside from resilience, they hardly differ from regular C.Os.Even if it's capable of reasoning, it hardly can perform complex operations."

"In your eyes, it is inefficient you mean?" I said.

"Yeah."Shi Yoon said and Mina looks at me.

"In the end, we still don't really know what the organization wants, for now, so we can only speculate for the most part," I said and looks at Mina who is dumbfounded. I pat her head."Don't worry too much about it."

Mina blushed and slapped my hand."Stop patting me!"

"I can't help it, your head is too much headpatable." I said and Mina blushed even more and move away.

"Seems like you really close, Mr." Shi Yoon asks me.

"Not really close but sure if it's from your eyes." I said looking at him."That being said, I better go." I said before going to the rendezvous place.

"Hmm, who are you really, Mr?" Shi Yoon said to himself before going to the team.

Timeskip

By the time we all eliminated the Replacers, we see a big huge ship with the door open Sylvia enters it and the team promptly follows her to what is called the command center. Sylvia then does her work.

"This...Leaf Node. Re-Confirm the identification code." Sylvia said to her drone.

"Re-Confirming the identification code. Department of Defense,3rd Dimension Ship Power Supplementation Plan Document No.:724 BA Delta. The second ship of the New Constitution, Grace Hopper. Matches the previous results."

"No way." Sylvia said in shock."The New Constitution Class exists on paper for now.It should take at least 3 more years to become a name ship, but they're already at the second."

"The identification code is accurate. If there is an issue,please update the DoD library."

"...."

"Is there a problem?" Hilde asked Sylvia.

"No. It's nothing. Did you guys finish?"

"The one we could find at least...it's safe to assume that any organized resistance is over. Anyway, what should we do about this? It's too big to carry."

Y/n Pov

When Hilde and Sylvia are talking, I was looking in the direction as some object got detected on my radars. Suddenly, Lena's hologram is open and alert about the enemy.

"3 O'clock! High-Density Corruption ray detected! 1800 clicks out!...No...1500....1200!It's coming in fast!"

I ready my sword and dashed outside creating a harsh wind.

"What the!" Sylvia startled.

I dashed and jumped over the team and the rest try to follow what happened I ignored the rest of Lena's description and see the new enemy.

"Shi Yoon...Could that be..."

"Yup.Their main effort." Shi Yoon said and all the teams is now outside.

"......"The new enemy stays silent.

"You must be the Replacer Commander assigned here,"Hilde said.

"....."

"You're not as chatty as the other one...Perhaps we can get along."

"......"

"You're a bit late to the party, though. We can fight if you want but what's the point of shedding blood when the odds are stacked against you? We won't pursue you if you leave here considering our objectives are complete. Deal?"

I gripped my sword tightly the moment I see her as Hilde keep talking.

"Long time no see..."

"...ShiYoon.Have we met her before? I don't recall."

"Same here. Maybe she's confused for someone else?Or perhaps you know her Mina?"

"Not at all. How would I know a terrorist...You know her, Y/n?" Mina asked but I didn't answer.

"I'm disappointed. Have you forgotten my voice already?.... Yoo Mina."

"How...did...you?" Mina said in shock.

"It's me."

"You're...Na...Narae?"

"Ah, I used to go by that name but now I go by the codename Replacer Bishop now."
