Y/n Pov

After I talk with Hilde and ShiYoon, I go to Sobin who watched me talking, and stop in front of her.

"Something wrong , Sobin?" I said to Sobin who looks nervous and looked around.

"U-Um, shouldn't you go with Mason since you are not a Counter?" she said making me think.

'True, I could just go with Mason but I feel like something changes.'"Oh, that, the facts I literally provoke whoever it is at the hologram earlier will come to me and put them in danger plus don't worry, I'm not helpless when this gun will meet its end." I said to Sobin who seemed reassured that I said that. 'Because I have my sword.'

"I-I see. S-Sure." Sobin said and I head pat her making her look at me and I looks at her.

"Don't worry, I know I can survive. So, you don't have to worry about me." I said reassuringly making her feel relief and embarrassed because I touch her head." Oh, is it uncomfortable? I'll stop it, then."

"N-No! it feels pretty good!" Sobin shouted making me feel surprised and chuckled. Sobin realizes what she's doing and feels embarrassed.

"Sure but let's get the job done okay?" I said to Sobin.

"Y-Yes!" Sobin shouted and adopted a resolved determination. The counterattack then started to begin when The Fenrir Squad along with Amy is going back to the city.

"I guess the attack has begun, then," I said and cocking my gun and checks I only have one cartridge left and Sobin sees this.

"D-Do you need ammo as well? I-I can give you some if you want..." Sobin said to me.

"Do I need to pay?" I asked her and surprised her.

"N-No! Y-You, don't have to pay!" Sobin said to me.

"But the ammo is expensive no matter how you look at it," I said to Sobin.

"Y-You already make me feel strong, so please let me repay it!" Sobin said to me with determination.

'Did I change something in her? But...whatever...'"Sure.I just only need one more." I said to Sobin who takes her ammo from nowhere and she gives them to me.

"Is that your Counter ability?" I said after seeing her power.

"Y-Yes!" Sobin said.

"I see, thanks a bunch, Sobin," I said thanking her and goes somewhere to reload and Sobin watch me go and sits somewhere. After I was done doing that, we follow the Fenrir Squad along with Amy to the city, Sobin included. Then, I see a Mercenary forcefully taking civilians.

"What do you think you're doing! Let me go!" civilians shouted to the mercenary. Mercenary shoved the civilians forcefully to somewhere and I acted quickly and dash towards the situation and grabs the mercenary's hand.

"What the-, " the mercenary said before I punch the person's face and destroy his helmet and he goes fainting. The Civilian who saw this is confused, to say the least, so I say this to him.

"Go somewhere safe," I told him and he nodded and run quickly.

My actions surprised Hide and ShiYoon who notices the distances I am right now and looks where am I supposed to be and all that's visible is my shoe footprints that were carved into the tiles.

"I forgot he can do that," Mina said nonchalantly because she has seen what I do.

"Yeah," Amy said.

"I-Indeed," Sobin said.

"I had my doubts...but I guess it's all clear now." Amy said while I was walking towards them." we have to stop them now, Mina!"

"B-but..." Mina said reluctantly but still fights. I reload my gun and finished reloading. An hybrider comes to me from behind and Mina notices this.

"Y/n! Watch out!" Mina shouted and Hilde and ShiYoon notices and tries to go.

"Kid!" Hilde shouted.

"Mr!" Shi Yoon said.

But then, they notices I was calm and just point my gun towards my back under the armpits and shoots the Hybrider killing it with a headshot.

"What?" Hilde and ShiYoon said dumbfounded.

"Wow", Mina, Amy, and Sobin said.

"You guys need to stop being surprised at this point," I said after shooting the Hybrider snapping them out of it. Then, Seo Yoon arrives and stops in front of Sobin.

"...Sobin! You're safe!" Seo Yoon said to Sobin.

"...Cap? Cap...!" Sobin said running towards her and hugging her.*Sob**Sob* I was so scared...! When those people show up again...I tried to be strong and I managed to hold on thanks to Mr...But..."

"It's okay, Sobin. It's okay." Seo Yoon said comforting her."Everything's okay, now...and I assumed that Mr is him?" Seo Yoon asked Sobin pointing to me who looks around after she said.

"Y-Yes!" Sobin said surprising Seo Yoon, Eujin, and Xiao Lin who arrives after her, and they look at me. I sensed someone staring and found it was ALT Squad. So, I waved towards them and they waved back and I goes to Mina.

3rd Pov.

"Are you sure? He makes you strong, Sobin?" Eujin said.

"Yeah, could be him lying or something." Xiao lin said.

"Are you sure you're not being blackmailed, Sobin?" Seo Yoon said concerned.

"I-it's true! He punched C.Os's flying! And he almost broke phase barrier by swinging sword!" Sobin attempted to defend me." I-if you think I'm lying you can ask Mina!"

"What!" the three shouted drawing attention from Fenrir Squad.

"Something wrong, Seo Yoon?" Hilde asked.

"O-Oh, nothing much. Just Sobin surprises, that's all, commander." Seo Yoon said and Hilde shrugged and Y/n was beside Mina and talking to her at this time.

"Is it true, Sobin? Did he manage to punch C.Os flying? I highly doubt he's capable of it seeing from his build. He's not that muscle much compared to Eujin." Seo Yoon asked Sobin. Sobin just nodded furiously.

*Sigh*" we will see whether it's true or not. We have jobs to do first." Seo Yoon said and hold her gun.

Y/n Pov

I was talking to Mina about the plan that I will stay here because she has her squad with her and the fact that I only have one spare cartridge bullet left for my gun. She seemed a bit sad but then she smiled.

"Okay, then. I guess that's better than sending you to death, I guess." Mina said smiling a bit.

"Thanks and Don't worry, I'll be with these teams," I said pointing to ALT Squad and Mina looks at them and looks back uncertainly.

"You sure? It's not that I don't trust you but...this team..." Mina said hesitantly.

"Don't worry, Mina. I know how to protect myself or do I need to show you my strength again? Not that I mind." I said to Mina who looks at me judgingly and nodded.

"Alright. Stay safe." Mina said.

"Sure," I said smiling a bit.

Suddenly, a hologram appears a woman that I know as Chloe Starseeker and she speaks.

"This is Coffin Bridge! Warning! A large-scale corruption ray reaction was detected at 11'o clock! Approaching now,700 clicks out!" She said to us.

"Corruption ray? Are they C.Os?" Hilde asked Chloe.

"Um..the corruption ray energy is slightly different. I've never seen this pattern before...so I'm not sure, but it might be mutated C.Os." Chloe replied to Hilde.

"It's not a mutant...it's probably  hybrider." Mina said to Hilde.

"Hybrider?...what's that?" Hilde asked.

"I think they combined human with C.Os right? Y/n?" Mina said and I nodded.

"Are you sure?" Hilde said

"Yes!! I saw some mercenaries transform in front of my eyes.!" Mina exclaim loudly.

"Sorry to interrupt, Master...But there's a swarm headed our way." ShiYoon said."I think they're throwing a welcome party...what should we do?"

"Hmm, Mina now would be a good time for you to mobilize then," I said catching everyone's attention.

"Mobilize what? Rookie, explain." Hilde asked Mina.

"Let's just say her family member is in hospital and she's quite protective about her family. So, just go Mina. I know how to handle them here." I said to Mina and she nodded.

"Hospital? What are you talking about, rookie? The entire city is in danger." Hilde said to Mina."And your family is in that hospital?"

"Y-Yes..." Mina said hesitantly.

"One moment, Commander Hilde." Seo Yoon said to Hilde catching our attention.

"Seo Yoon, what do you want?" Hilde said defensively."I'm busy if you have any tricks like last time..."

While they talked, I asked Mina.

"Hey, Mina. What happened last time?" I asked her though I know I wants to know what happened.

"Uh...she betrayed us when we dive last time," Mina said to me and I just said.

"Oh, can you assure me that they won't kill me?" I asked her.

".....Probably," Mina said.

"You know that's not very assuring, right? Whatever I just handle it somehow." I said making Mina sigh of relief.

"Is this some kind of trick?" Mina asked Seo Yoon after she finished talking to me and I looks at Seo Yoon who looks at me and Mina.

"I told you! It's not like that." Seo Yoon said while looking at me. During this time, Seo Yoon talked that Mina is antsy is not helping and let her squad handle the matter here and I want to stay undercover and help using only my strength and sword which I will use later. Seo Yoon said she owes Mina last time and she repays her favor this time.

"You don't owe me anything. If someone owes me right now that would be this guy." Mina said pointing at me. I looks at her and realized.

"Oh, you mean food? Sure, I don't mind." I said to Mina embarrassing her by saying her favor.

"Besides, you don't owe me anything. You already settled your debt with our deal."

"....."Seo Yoon stay silent wanting to hear what Mina said.

"So...this time I'll owe you," Mina said. "....Thank you."

"Hahaha. Never thought I'd hear you say that!" Seo Yoon said. "Anyway, aren't you in a hurry?"

"Y-yeah.Thanks again and Y/n, don't die early!" Mina said and runs off and ShiYoon questions what to do and Hilde told him to follow her.

"Sure, be safe," I said waving to Mina.

After Mina follows by Fenrir Squad along with Amy who is following Mina when she runs off. Seo Yoon said to me.

"So, Mr? what are you doing here? I thought you are supposed to be a cashier?" Seo Yoon asked me.

"Oh, that. The manager caught in Counterside effects and he's in hospital and the place I work is destroyed as well." I said bluntly.

"I see, but that doesn't explain what are you doing here?" Seo Yoon said.

'For a woman, she's mischievous.'"Got caught up." I replied before Eujin interrupts the conversation.

"C-Cap! Did you see them?" Eujin said fearfully. "They're not...Could they be Repla-" Seo Yoon cuts her off and told her.

"Stop. He's here." Seo Yoon said pointing out to me who looks at her.

"Seems you know them, lady. Mind telling me about it?" I asked her.

Eujin looks at me and then Seo Yoon but Seo Yoon shakes her head no.

"S-Sorry, Mr. I-I can't tell you about it." She said hesitantly.

"Alright then." I said dismissively.'I see you became like this because someone wants to save humanity and you are the sacrifice.' I thought to ALT Squad.

"Regardless of who they are, our job is to stop them. Sobin...you can still fight, right?" Seo Yoon said.

"Yes!!" Sobin said with resolve.

"I-I see. Good to hear that, then." Seo Yoon said surprised from seeing Sobin like this."Mr, you didn't do anything to Sobin, aren't you?" Seo Yoon said accusingly because Sobin is out of character to her.

"What? Do I look like pedo to you! Of course not! I already have a crush, to begin with!" I denied strongly.

"Oh, who?" Seo Yoon said teasingly.

"And why do you want to know?" I said.

"Oh, just curious." Seo Yoon said.'I kind of want to know who his crush is right now for some reason.'

Suddenly, a hologram of Xiao Lin appeared.

" A combined unit of enemy Hybriders and Collapsers is approaching!" Xiao Lin shouted.

"You guys know our chants, right?" Seo Yoon said towards her squad.

"Of course!" Xiao and Eujin said.

"Yes!" Sobin said.

"We! Are! " Seo Yoon shouted.

"Strong!" The entire squad shouted together.

"Huh, you don't see that kind of thing nowadays, oh, well," I said readying my gun.

*Inhale**Exhale*'I can do this.' I thought and observes my surroundings and talk to Omicron.

'Omicron?'

"Yes, Master?"

'Assist me in fighting.'

"It shall be done so, Master."

'Good.'

Then, many Hybriders and Collapsers coming to our way. I just hold my gun in one hand and aim.

*Bang!* I shoot to one of them and the strikes and destroy its head along with the second enemy behind it.

3rd Pov

What Y/n doesn't know is the entire ALT Squad saw what happened. Their reactions are well, let's just say surprised.

"Holy..."Eujin said in awe.

"Wha?" Xiao said in confusion because you were holding that much firepower in that small gun!!

"I never knew that gun is that strong." Seo Yoon said shooting at one of the enemies."I almost don't believe it if he's not here..."

"Y-Yes! It's that strong! I-Its almost unbelievable!" Sobin said in awe.

Back to Y/n Pov

I keep shooting one by one with Omicron assisting my aim and my shots were not missed even one. Then, the enemy keeps closer with Eujin leading the melee by shooting at short range to the enemy. The time goes on and I lost track of it.

Right now, it's already night time and Sobin gives me another bullet cartridge and i takes out my current one. The cartridge falls and shows it empty chamber.

"Sorry about this, Sobin. The enemy has much more quantity than my ammo." I said to Sobin.

"I-Its fine, Mr. The enemy has much more quantity than us and you're doing a good job destroying most of them," Sobin said assuringly.

"Thank you again, Sobin," I said and she nodded and I reload my ammo back and aims but suddenly something lands in front of us.

"What the-, " I said before cut off by the impact of the landing of someone though I kind of know who it is.

"Hahahahaha, I finally found you! The preliminary form of the Replacer Alternative Type.....Along with a guy who's all bite." RK said.

"Whoa! What the heck!" Eujin exclaimed in fright.

"Is that..." Xiao Lin said.

"That's the last face I wanted to see today." Seo Yoon said catching my attention.

"So, you guys knew her?" I asked Seo Yoon.

"Yeah, but I really don't want to talk about it." Seo Yoon said defensively.

"Wow, never see you this mad, alright, then. I won't ask but I assume you guys can't beat her right now?" I said making Seo Yoon flinch and she looks at me.

"Umm...Yes, will you help us?" Seo Yoon said.

"Ugh! Good grief, fine." I said sighing making Seo Yoon sigh of relief but she doesn't actually trust you yet fully but seeing Sobin's concerns for me, she makes the offer.

"Can you stop calling us that? We're ALT Squad now." Seo Yoon said to RK.

"Ha? Was that supposed to be a joke? Because that was hilarious." RK retorted back to Seo Yoon."You're nothing but unfinished products...You don't have a name."

Seeing her talk like this during fight and I am losing patience with this girl because I have a short temper, and that's I keep a poker face to control my emotion but this girl just blows my fuse.

"Alright! That's enough! You, be quiet substitute! I don't give a damn about you right now! So, be quiet, stripper! Your voice irritates me so much that I wish to sew it shut!" I said out loud to RK making her attention to me.

"Ha? Little rats rambling? Be grateful that I still give you attention right now. No matter, I'll kill you and take the Alternative Type!" RK said dashing to me.

"Master, go to left!"

Heeding Omicron's commands, I dodge to the left thus avoiding RK's hands.

"Fall back! Create distances, Master!"

Heeding again, I jumped back to create distances.

"Little rats, big talk, and no bite," RK said annoyed I had dodged her.

I ready my gun and she dashed towards me again and I shoots at her but missed and she was right in front of me.

"Time to die, little rats!" RK shouted. I clutch my left fist and punch her face as strong as I can and it takes effect immediately. Her head bounced back and she stumbled back making distances between us.

RK wipes her lips that have blood because I punched her pace considering my nanites changes my muscles to peak human condition.

"You....You Dare, you rat!" RK shouted.

"Of course, I dare, you are my enemy," I said and aimed my gun at her and shoots but she dodged again annoying me and I decided to use Eujin style of combat. RK dashed at me and swung her sword and I used my gun to stop the sword considering Omicron change the gun durability when changing some parts that make it looks like the one in chapter 12. The weapon clashed and I was struggling due to the fact my strength is below that of a Counter.

3rd Pov

"Uh...Cap. Am I seeing things? He fights on equal with Replacer Knight!" Eujin exclaimed.

"No...your not..." Seo Yoon said

"B-But he doesn't know what RK can do," Sobin said.

"Uh...Cap, he's shouting something..." Xiao Lin said from the communicator.

Seo Yoon heard what Xiao Lin said and looks at me who is struggling against RK.

"Shoot her! And support me!" I shouted to Seo Yoon.

"ALT Squad! Shoot at your own discretion! And avoid shooting at him!" Seo Yoon shouted her command and aims her gun at RK.

"Yes!" ALT Squad shouted.

"Ha? Little rats, dare to attack me? Hahahaha! what jokes! You can't even beat me one on one!" RK said.

Y/n Pov

After hearing what she said, I push her back and shoot my gun but she dodges again and I jump back. RK was ready to dash to me but got interrupted by Seo Yoon shoots at her but missed again and Eujin runs towards RK and shoots her and pulls back and Sobin shoots from a farther range than Eujin and finally, Xiao Lin shoots her from her position creating a lot of dust.

'Wow, strong. But I doubt she was scratched.' I thought it was true. The clouds of dust settled in and she wasn't even injured.

"Ha? Is that the best you can do, little rats? Well, time for me to do the honors of stepping you down, then!" RK said and dashed to Seo Yoon but I dashed towards her and shoots at her making her look at me.

"Why you, I kill you first and take them later! I'll kill you for wasting my precious time!" RK said.

"If you can, that is," I said dashing towards her and clashed weapons again but I aimed for that and put my gun aiming towards her face. She realized what I was doing and pull her head back and I shoots but missed her. I lifted my left leg and kicked her in the stomach.

"Guagh!" you bastard!" RK shouted and swings upwards her sword but I dodged it and shoots at her again but missed because she avoid it and she dashed towards me and swings her sword at me, again I dodged it and shoots her at extremely close range but she dodged it somehow!

'The hell, it's this close but I can't even shoot her! Does Counter have an amazing reflex or something!' I thought loudly in my mind.

"I was going to toy you for a while but you're more nimble than I thought. But playtime is over." RK said confusing me and ALT Squad.

"...Found you, you scumbag," Mina said after arriving but I ignored her and RK smiled sinisterly.

"Gotcha, Mr," RK said dashing at me faster I was caught off guard and she grabbed my neck and pulls me up.

"Y/N!" Mina and Sobin shouted.

"Move one step and I'll kill this guy," RK said making both of them stop.

"Y-You bastard..." I gurgled out because I was choked and her grip become tighter.

"Hmm, a rat still talks? No matter, time to kill you, then!" RK said throw me strongly to a building nearby. Mind you the walls broke after I crashed into it.

"Stop!" Mina shouted to her."You...you've gone too far!"

"So? Why are you crying over one dead rat?" RK said nonchalantly.

Y/n Pov

After I was thrown to the building, my body aches, and my head was bleeding. I asked Omicron how much damage to my body.

"Broken ribs, internal bleeding, and fractured bones at your hand. Initiating auto-recovery function. Estimate time of full recovery...10 seconds."

'10 seconds that fast?' I thought baffled.

"You have tons of nanites, Master. More so than Rex Salazar."

'Oh.okay.' I thought and soon my body begin to fix itself and I stops feeling pain in my body. I stood up immediately after that confirming I was healed fully.

'Thanks, Omicron.'

"You're welcome."

Then, I get out of the building and heard what RK said.

"We are the true Replacers! The greatest combat machines in this world! We're the only chosen ones worthy of entering promised land!" RK shouted towards everyone.

"Master...!" ShiYoon said to Hilde.

"I know. Stay frosty, everyone!" Hilde shouted.

RK commands her force who arrived earlier when I was thrown. I then sees a car and I smiled. i goes to the car and aligned it to RK. Then, I strengthen my leg and lighten the gravity around the car and doing it unnoticed to everyone. Next, I put my leg at the car's back and RK who is oblivious to my doing.

"Behold....The true power of united type Replacer!" RK said transforming making the ALT Squad and Fenrir Squad shocked but get ready immediately. Suddenly, a car crash her shocking everyone who looks in the direction of the car thrown from and sees me standing just fine but my clothes is stained with my blood.

"Hello there, do you think I will die this early, oh please, it takes more than that to kill me." I said shocking everyone who thought I was dead.

"M-Master, I'm not seeing things, am I?" Shi Yoon said shocked.

"No, you're not seeing this because I can see what you see, my apprentice." Hilde said in relief but she was wondering how did you survive? Because at that distance, it's enough to kill non-Counters.

"Y/n! You're alive!" Mina said running to and shocking me with a hug making me feel embarrassed considering her...well.

"I-I'm fine, Mina. C-Can you let go now?" I asked her and Mina releases me and I looks at ALT Squad. Sobin is tearing up, Seo Yoon is relieved along with Eujin and Xiao Lin.

"Ah! So annoying! Why won't you just die already, rat!" RK said and I looks around but couldn't find my gun.

"I'm your enemy, so of course, I'll be annoying, idiot. If you're allowed to be annoying. Then, I'm allowed to annoy you." I retorted to her making her angrier.

"You!" RK shouted.

"So, what happened to your gun, Y/n?" Mina asked.

"Got thrown somewhere but don't worry, I've got another weapon coming up." I said catching everyone's attention." By the way, where's Amy?"

"....." Mina said nothing to me and just look at RK furiously.

"I see, no need to tell me," I said making Mina looks at me. Then, I whistled loudly making everyone wonder what I'm doing.

"What are you doing, Y/n?" Mina asked everyone questions.

"Calling my weapon." I said and raised up my hand.'Omicron, do a little presentation please.'

"Certainly, Y/n."

"Hah! Big talk again for a rat! Just die already!" RK said and prepared to run at me but I just pointed to her back.

"Your behind," I said making everyone look at RK back. RK decided to look behind her but got crashed to something to her face making her stumble back and the thing that stumbled at RK face ended up being caught by me shocking everyone and they looks at what I'm holding which is my sword.

"Don't think I'll hold back," I said unsheathing my sword from its sheath making my sword glisten at the light. I let out my bloodlust and sinister smile.

"You don't think I was holding the entire time, right?" I said maliciously making everyone feel shudder including RK." You guys can continue fighting, right?" I look at the ALT Squad and Fenrir Squad. They all nodded and I says.

"Then, engage at your own discretion," I said running to transform RK and swing my sword RK blocks it but the force made her hand feels numb and push back a little.

'What the hell is this strength!??' RK said.

"ALT Squad! Engage!" Seo Yoon shouted.

"Fenrir Squad, Engage! Stay frosty!" Hilde shouted. Mina then rushed and shoots RK when she stumbled back due to my strength earlier. The shoots hit RK blowing her further.

"Lin! Now!" Seo Yoon shouted towards the sniper.

"Take this, bitch!" Xiao Lin said and shoots directly to her body making cloud clouds of dust. Suddenly, the sword is thrown at me but it was intercepted by ShiYoon.

"Not gonna happen, Miss." Shi Yoon said after he deflected the sword which returns back to RK.

"Thanks," I said to Shi Yoon.

"No problem, Mr." ShiYoon said. Then, the cloud of dust settled in and shows that she is harmed but reinforcement is with her.

"Everybody! Kill the C.Os! or else the damage will spread even further!" I shouted to them." I'll handle her!"

"You're crazy!" Hilde shouted.

"No time! The best I can stall! So, go now!" I shouted making both squads runs to the RK reinforcement.

"This time, I'll kill you, rat!" RK exclaimed angrily.

"If you can, that is," I said and run towards RK and she runs to me and ready her sword and I swung simultaneously with her.

3rd Pov

Y/n sword glows slightly making RK looks at it.

"Wha?" RK said in surprise.

"Ever heard of video games? Burst!" Y/n shouted and the sword releases explosions hurting RK and making her stay back.

"Aaargh!" She choked on her breath."T-That sword, is it from Administration?" RK asked Y/n.

Y/n Pov

After I used burst mode to RK, she became more injured due to my sword space attribute which is effective against the factors because they are from imaginary space. I know this due to what Omicron told me when I clashed with her earlier.

"Master, the space attribute imbued in the sword is useful to fight against imaginary factors."

When RK asked that, both squads sees me unscathed but not RK making Sobin and Mina feel relieved.

"What are you on about? I created this weapon myself." I answered RK shocking her.

"B-But how? Are you with Administration?" RK asked with fear.

"No, I'm not from Administration." I answered her." But this time, I'll destroy you, right here and right now." I said calmly and sheathed back my sword.

"No! I refuse to lose against rat!" RK said charging her power.

"Kid!" Hilde shouted.

"Y/n!" Mina shouted running to me.

"Mr!" Sobin shouted.

I ignored the voice and gets into position. My sword then glows taking Hilde and Seo Yoon's attention though I didn't notice. My sword glows more furiously making Mina stop running when her instincts stopped her.

"Die! Rat!" RK shouted and runs to me but I stayed calm. Then, I unsheathed my sword when it was glowing further and swing it towards RK. She notices this but cannot stop her attack.

"Space Slash!" I slashed my sword and turned to my back to her and sheathed my sword back. The attack then creates the lines at RK's waist then the upper slide to the left and her lower body slide to right. Then, they return back to the original position and explode creating a cloud of dust and RK is receiving the attack I made earlier. The clouds of dust then settle in and it shows RK is nearing her death.

"No, don't forsake me, please take to the promised land...." RK said before life faded from her eyes and I stand back normally and just breathe a sigh of relief.

'Finally.'
