When the weird trio wakes after I beat them, they look around and see me and make a girl's shrieks catching the team's attention.

"Nothing much, just they woke up and see me, that's all." I said making the team look forward again."Looks basically you want to make money by coming to your acquaintances right?" I asked the three and they nodded. "Maybe you can negotiate with his client," I said pointing to John who is driving right now.

"Really?" the three asked.

"Dunno, I just made a deduction, that's all," I said.

"Oh."The trio said.

After I said that, the truck stopped and John gets out and all of us follow suit. The place is somewhere outside the city and John entered a building that looks old. All of us follow John and he sets up something to what I assumed to be a communicator when he stops at someplace in a building that I assumed is a lab. John turned to us and said.

"Rest for a while, I'm going to call my client for a bit." He said making all of us nod.

Y/n Pov

After John said that, I sits somewhere open to where people can see and sat down on the floor.

*Huff*'I want to sleep right now but damn this Replacer incident is annoying.' I thought annoyed because I can't sleep and the facts that I'm still undercover.

Suddenly, I feel someone beside me and looks at it reveals as Mina.

"Something on your mind, Y/n?" Mina asked.

"Just annoyed the fact that I can't go to bed and sleep for a while," I said truthfully.

"Haha, I guess so." Mina said while laughing a bit." But I get the feeling all this will be over soon."

"I see," I said and looks at John who is talking to his client and I go to him.

"Hey, Blackbird, you there?" John asked the communicator. "We're almost at the source of your signal. Tell us your exact location. Hello? Are you dead already? Come in, Blackbird!"

"..I'm alive. So, could you stop shouting, Mason?" John's client answered annoyed."Could be better. I think the escort team might be annihilated."

"You think?" John said sarcastically.

The two talked but I wanted to make things quick. So, I just go behind John and said this.

"Boo," I said.

His reactions are priceless. He jumped up and looks to see me looking at him with a poker face. "Let me talk with your client," I said after John calm down. He nodded and let me look at the communicator.

"Who are you?" John's client who I know as Mark Finley in episode 2 of CounterSide.

"I'm Y/n, the guy who wants to sleep on his bed right now but all this happening and I'm grumpy right now. So, you better tell me where you are right now before you see I'm getting mad." I said making all of the team shudder when they hears I said that.

"Um...Uh..right now, I'm in the warehouse and trapped. So, if you save me, maybe you can negotiate with me about payments?" Mark Finley said.

I looks at everyone and they nodded agreeing to save John's client.

"Alright, seems like everyone agrees and so let's go then." I said out loud."Alright, seems you know your way around, John, lead the way." I said to John and pulls out my gun and cocked it.

*Clink*

John seeing this nodded and was ready to set out and do something to his tech.

"Hey, mister. Something headed this way!"Mina said in a panic.

"They must be feeling the heat if they're bringing out their big guns. But we wouldn't have gotten started if we were going to back down already! Hey! Moe, Larry, and Curly! It's finally time to earn your keep!" John said.

"Hey, Mason. Didn't we see them last time?" The big one asked.

"That's right, I assume you guys will be fine since you fought them last time, right?" John said to the trio.

The two except the big one from the trio is whined and scared until John said.

"You think making money is easy! You are the one who stopped us and wants to come. So, don't you dare complain!"

"Are you guys ready too?" John asked the team.

"Sure, just give the signal to start," I said.

"Yeah!"Mina said

"Um...I need more time but that's not an option right?" Amy said

"Nope," I said.

"You bet. I'll leave the medium collapser to you." John said.

Soon, all of us get out of the building and encounter the Hybrider though it seems the variant name Collapser which is the failed experiment of Hybrider. I shoot killing one and another one taking someone's life who has already been destroyed by Corruption and I continue to shoot until we reach a building. Then, I see Sobin giving something to someone who lays on the street.

"Go in first, Mina," I said to Mina who is at my left and she looks at me and nodded. Soon, everyone enters the building and I look at someone to who Sobin gives her medicine to.

"Hey." I said taking his attention before he can swallow the medicine."Here, let me help cure you but you must keep this secret."I said and he nodded.

"Alright, just clench your teeth, it may be painful," I said to him and he does exactly that. I extend my right hand and soon my hand glows with neon lines and I touch him.

'Omicron, can he be healed?'

"Running calculations...Yes, it is possible but the major corruption must be getting out first before curing the minor ones because it takes too long to destroy it unless it is in your body, Master."

'I see.' I then willed my nanites to his body making his body glows neon lines as well. "Open your mouth," I command him and he does that. Soon, I use my other arm and it glows as well. I flow my second arm towards his mouth and goes above it and some purple substances come out and I fling it away and my second arm stopped glowing and I focus on my other hand and will my nanites to destroy the minor ones and they do it and my hand stopped glowing and the guy as well.

Soon, the guy woke up and see me and looks at his body.

"Now keep your bargain or something unthinkable will happen to you." I threatened him to make his mouth shut and he nodded and bowed down to me while I was squatting like a delinquent.

"Thank you, sir! I will keep my mouth shut and remember this favor to you!" he said.

"Good, now run along and stay away from all this," I said and he nodded and goes running away somewhere.

"So, I can heal corruption if their mind is still intact and destroy minor corruption," I said to myself.

"Yes, Master but if your body is corrupted, the nanites will expel it even the major ones because we are made to serve you, Master."

'Thanks, Omicron.'

"You're welcome."

Then I enter the building and see everyone walking in and Mina sees me and walks to me.

"You've done what you're doing?" Mina said and I nodded. Then, I see Amy and John talking and I keep silent and we all keep walking until John stopped in front of the room.

"According to coordinates, he's supposed to be in this room."John said and open the door and said."Hey, you still alive, my dear client?"

"Took you long enough! Feels like waiting for days!" John's client said.

"Now, that's no way to thank your deliverers. Just a bit, I need to call everyone here." John said. He goes out of the room and tells us that his client is saved and gathers all of us inside the room.

"I guess I owe you my life. I'll remember that." John's client said.

"It was our pleasure. It's my job to help you when you're in danger." John said

"I wasn't talking to you, Mason...if anything, you ended up getting captured like a damsel in distress when I sent you to collect intel. How embarrassing is that? Also, that civilian guy seems more capable than you." John's client said.

*Snort* John and his client look at me and I say...

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm just a humble civilian at your service."

The team looks at me and have flashbacks about me showing bloodlust and sinister smile and me getting angry including Mason.

'Humble civilian, my ass! You clearly have a strong bloodlust to prove our point!'

"My client...there's a lot of unexpected in the field, you know," John said.

"Well... my trust in you is plummeting now.." John's client said

"After everything I've done, you could at least give a pat to the back," John said before feeling something at his back and he looks to see me patting his back.

"There. Is that good enough?" I said.

"Thanks, at least someone appreciates my help," John said.

"You're welcome," I said.

"Alright, Mr. Now, can you tell us what's going on here?" Mina said." I think we deserve an explanation."

"Why, of course. Let me introduce myself first. My name is Mark Finley. I'm the president of Finley Hired, a PMC and it's nice to meet you all." Mark said.

The results of the team are varied. Aki and Minseo is shocked, Amy is being sharp and Mina is confused. While Mark explains his backstory, I looked around to see where is the hologram communicator. I then found it and just headed back to the team and Mina says

"But..but why on earth do they want to attack the city?" Mina said.

"It's because they want the sample to test whatever they were doing," I said making everyone looks at me.

"Huh? You mean?" Mina said confused.

"Didn't Mason explain it? I think you guys should have put together what he said." I said. "Hybrider are the results artificial process of combining C.O with human and the city have a lot of them."

"Wait... you mean?!!!" Mina said along with everyone figured it out.

"I thought you are just a civilian?" Mark said.

"I graduated at local university with an accounting degree," I said recalling my old body previous owner making Mark nod.

"Good lord ...that's why they were rounding the people at the shelter," Aki said.

"It wasn't to protect citizens...they were going to use them," Amy said.

"Wait...Does that'll mean they were going to do to everyone in the city?" Mina said."Even in the hospital?"

" Yes, they will." John said,

"we...we have to go back!" Mina said furiously.

"M-Mina! What are you doing?" Amy said.

"And how were you going to do that when you can't even fight a small army?" I said to her.

"I don't care,I have to go back!" Mina shouted.

"Calm down, you being emotional won't help either or is there any reason you need to go back? Family?" I said and Mina flinched. " I see, your family member is a hospital right now but you are not calming down right now and you will die before making it there creating useless efforts."

"B-But I have to go back there!" Mina said while her tears is falling out.

"I never said I will not help but right now, we need a plan so you don't get killed and save the city as well," I said head patting Mina who is crying right now and she looks at me and wipes her tear and nodded.

"Alright," Mina said

"Good," I said and stop head patting her.

'That was smooth.' What was everyone thought.

"I found you, you little rats." Said a voice and a hologram appears getting all of everyone presents attention.

"What?" Mina said.

"It's a hologram communication device. I guess there was one installed in this room." Mark said.

"You all gather here like little rats. Are you done with your chat with your petty lives? We're about to spray rat poison if you're ready." Replacer Knight said.

"Just because you have rat poison doesn't mean it's enough to kill rats, lady," I said taking her attention. Mina asks who she is to Mark and he answers that she is Replacer Knight and that she is a criminal and killer.

"Big talk for someone who's all bite." Replacer Knight said.

"Am i? when you even yet to see what I do and I assume you're the one who causes all of this?" I said.

"Getting cocky are you. I guess you haven't changed a bit, President." Replacer Knight said to Mark who looks angry.

"Bold words for someone who can be replaced." I said." Oh, Miss High and Mighty, I'm so scared, please stop attacking us~" I said mocking you RK who looks about to burst and the team is unsure whether to laugh or not seeing me provoking someone who's a killer.

"Don't forget you may be a killer but you have yet to feel death," I said releasing my bloodlust and sinister smile making her back down.

"Haha, how you're gonna kill me in the first place?" RK said cockily.

"Getting cocky aren't we, just because you upped me once doesn't mean I'll lose again. So, just sit tight and wait because the main strike units are not too far away." Mark said

"Main strike, you say? Do you mean this team?" RK said showing the scene where she killed the main units.

"W-What, impossible. They may not be a Counter but they could still hold their own! No way, they can be killed that easily!" Mark exclaims shocked.

"Hey.." Mina said catching her attention.

"And you are?" RK said

"Why are you doing this?" Mina said

"It's useless asking her question, Mina when Mark already she's a criminal and criminal like her pretty much just answer with something stupid." I said cutting off the needless dialogue." And your substitute, quiet your mouth because you make noise pollution a baby against you."

"What! You!" RK said angrily.

"What? It's the truth, your code name literally said it you can be replaced. So, don't talk big when you are only the pawn from the organization." I said making her look shocked.

"You! How did you know!!!" RK exclaims.

"Your plan and your personality when I observed you, I concluded you are not capable of something like this and Mark just said you are a killer and he has seen you making me have all the clue I needed." I said shocking Mason, Mark, Aki, Amy, Sobin, Mina, and the trio who looks at me.' And my knowledge of this game.'

"No matter, you will still die," RK said gaining her composure and closing the hologram.

The trio then tells everyone that something coming their way and along with big guns. Amy panics and Mason tells us that we need to survive. Mina shoots the enemy and kills it. Sobin then shoots the nearest with guns. Amy uses her YoYo to fight and Mason uses his gun to kill C. Os and me? I just shoot using my gun only have one cartridge left and one is in use. The trio is doing well then I expect though. Soon, everyone gets out of the building and stops at somewhere I don't know but the streets of the city.

"I have the data you send." Mark said to Mason." As soon as I verify the evidence of City Managements colluding with terrorists, I'll send the request to withdraw the bounty on your heads." Mark said.

"I appreciate it but that's the least of our worries right now. If their plans are proceeding the damage might be more disastrous." Mason said. "You're not giving up are you?"

"As frustrating as it is, there's nothing I can do," Mark said.

While Mark and Mason talking about his team, I was with Mina who looks at the city.

"Calm down, just a little longer," I said to Mina.

"I know but I just can't..." Mina replied to me.

I heard what Mina said and goes to Mark and Mason.

"Mark, just a question. Do you have enough money to pay the company?" I asked Mark.

Mark looks at me and nods." Good, you can get support teams then." I said catching everyone's attention.

"How?!" everyone said.

I point to Mina."Mina, call your company, and Mark, prepares to negotiate." I said while making a shrewd smile.

"How manipulative are you? Well, no matter looks like this will be a good thing then." Mark said to me and he looks at Mina who was still confused.

"I'm just only hired a few days ago! I'm a regular employee!" Mina said

"Don't worry. Just link up with your company supervisor. I'll take care of the rest. Okay? If I know anything, it's business." Mark said.

Mina looks at me and I smile and nodded.

"Fine," Mina said reluctantly.

Mina set up her communicator and the communicator was beeping. While the communicator was beeping, Mina is sweating nervously and kept gripping her weapon. Seeing this, I decided to head pat Mina who looks at me nervously and I smile assuringly and told her.

"It's fine, Mina. It will be okay, I assure you." I said while trying to soothe her and It's working though I get the feeling it was my head pat.

"T-Thanks," Mina said embarrassed and I stopped head patting her making her sad a bit Lee SooYeon appears and I get out of the view. Mina explains the situation to SooYeon. After a while, Mina finished explaining and SooYeon said.

"So you agreed to a deal on a whim and you want the company support...is that what you're saying?" SooYeon asked.

"I mean...There are a lot of complex factors involved. But that's the gist of it ....yeah." Mina said.

*Sigh*" I knew rookie training was too lax...Now's its come to bite me in the ass." SooYeon said and Mina stay silent and looked at me. I nodded and looks at Mark and nudges him to Mina. He notices what I'm doing and nods and go to Mina.

"Look, Mina. When you took leave as soon as you were hired, I thought you just didn't know any better." SooYeon said."But how dare you use the company name like it's your own? You're at the limit at my good graces." SooYeon said discourage Mina further."And why CIA of all people?"

"Wait, I'd better take it from here," Mark said surprising SooYeon. Mina notices this and looks at me who smiles ridiculously and I said to her.

"Worry not, Mina. He knows what to do and I promise you didn't I?" I said catching her attention and Mina looks at me teary-eyed and punch me though it doesn't hurt.

"You jerk," Mina said with tears. When all this happens, Mark and SooYeon are discussing their business. When SooYeon saw the amount that Mark deposits, she quickly changed her mind.

"Hey, Mina. Are your company have people like this? I'm worried about your mental health if you suddenly want money for no reason." I said when looking at Mark and SooYeon.

"How shameless.." Mina said sweatdropping.

"Does everyone turns weird when they're in business?" Amy said.

"Who knows? She's just probably that weird in the first place." I said.

After SooYeon and Mark finished discussing. Mark is beaming with a smile and it creeped out Mason.

"Hey, my client what's wrong with you? You keep smiling like that." Mason said creeped out by Mark.

"Nothing much, Mason. Now, we just gotta get ready to act." Mark said.

After a while, a big ship that I know name is Coffin and Mason said something.

"Is that your TASKFORCE? They're called Coffin Company?" Mason said after seeing the ship and Hilde and ShiYoon are beating the Hybriders with small efforts.

"Um...Yes...But.." Mina hesitated.

"Whoa...That's amazing! We had such a hard time fighting them well except this guy." Amy said pointing to Hilde and ShiYoon and looking at me.

"Rude, I just only do my thing," I said and looks at Hilde and ShiYoon.

"By the way, what grade are they?" Amy asked Mina.

"Um...I'm not sure...I never asked, so I don't know..." Mina said.

"Don't worry much, looks the counterattack has just begun," I said and released the bloodlust I've been keeping.

"...Brilliant. They're well worth the money." Mark said." Unlike you." Mark said dissing Mason. Mason replied sarcastically and make suggestions to split up and Amy told Aki and Minseo. The two whined but understand and go with Mason to City Managements to stop Finley Hired from destroying evidence.

"Now, can I meet your teammates?" Amy said and I dropped my bloodlust and looks at Mina who looks at the two of us. "You're going to introduce us, right?"

"I would but..don't get your hopes up. They're not the friendliest people on the planet..." Mina said and I keep quiet.

"Huh? you mean?" Amy said confused. I just said.

"let's just keep going," I said and follow Mina and Amy follow suit. After a while, we reached the duo and they see us Hilde looks at me and narrows her eyes. She then looks at Mina and says..

"So, this is where you've been rookie..." Hilde said."Why did you have to stir things up and drag me along and you put this guy in danger as well. huh?" Hilde said.

"Excuse me, the city is in danger and you're whining? Well then, I suppose all Counter that I don't know is like this then." I said to Hilde. She looks at me and says...

"And who are you? This is none of your business. Shut your mouth, youngster these days." Hilde retorted.

"Wow, never know you can be so sassy, Master." ShiYoon said when she dissed me.

After being caught in the incident, still undercover and not using my abilities, lack of sleep and more problem keep coming, what would you guys do in this world where fighting is the daily basis for Counter and civilians have to go to a shelter, for me, no questions asked. I just straight-up released all my bloodlust.

My actions made Hilde, ShiYoon, Mina, and Amy look at me and they had a hard time breathing including Hilde who I know is a war veteran.

"I had a hard time now and you guys keep pushing it and even I don't know what I'm capable of. So, please just get to work before I made a mistake of hurting someone I don't like." I said." Is that clear?" I said again and Hilde and ShiYoon is trembling a little bit but not noticeable.

" I said, Is that clear?" I said with more authority. They nodded furiously and I dropped my bloodlust making the air easier to breathe. I just look at Mina who looks at me fearfully along with everybody else and I said to them.

"Sorry, I just had a bad day and my manager got caught up in it." I said and bowed 90 degrees." I'm really sorry because I didn't enough sleep as well."

"I-its fine, Y/n. I mean I don't really look at your condition." Mina said nervously.

"Y-Yeah. I mean you punch C.O flying.." Amy said shocking ShiYoon and Hilde who wasn't there at that time.

I looks up and saw Mina and Amy is consoling me and I stand back properly. I looks at Mina and Amy and smiled at them.

"Thanks," I said smiling.

Mina, Amy, and Hilde who wasn't expecting a handsome smile was embarrassed as well.

"Sorry about earlier, Miss,Mr," I said to Hilde and ShiYoon.

"I-its fine." Hilde said gaining her composure back." I'm sorry for not noticing your condition."

"Yeah, sorry about that, Mr. Being caught in this and all," ShiYoon said.

"Thank you. Well, you've gotta excuse me then." I said going to Sobin who looks at me.

"Say, rookie. Is it true he punch C.O flying?" Hilde asked Mina. Mina nodded along with Amy.

"Yeah and the C.Os are killed as well," Mina said.

"And what about him almost destroy phase barrier when the Inhibitor is on?" Amy said

"Amy!" Mina shouted.

"What! He almost destroyed the phase barrier that was meant for ships! Is this true, rookie!?" Hilde shouted when she heard that.

"Y-Yes" Mina replied in surprise. Hilde just gains back her composure and looks at my back.

'So, I was right. You are not normal.' Hilde thought.

"Looks like he is interesting, Master," ShiYoon said snapping Hilde out of her head.

"Let's just go finish the job," Hilde said.
