After I said that, more C.Os are coming and Mina, Sobin and Amy are luring C.Os though right now, the situation has become worse because Amy is bringing C.Os more than we can handle.

"How did you lure so much C.Os!!! We're in danger right now, Amy!!" I shouted towards Amy who looks sheepish and right now we're running from the herds of C.Os.

"Um...trade secret?" Amy said running with us while Aki and Minseo is running behind me.

"Wah, the C.Os is approaching faster!" Aki said while holding my food.

"Sobin, are you sure this is the right way?" Mina said

"Oh, yes! This leads straight to the freeway!" Sobin shouted answering Mina while running.

"Good, when we arrive there, we can see the Local Defense Force. Just a little more, guys!" Amy said.

"I highly doubt that," I said while running.

"Aw, don't be like that, Y/n!" Amy said

"Who got us in this trouble now!" I said making Amy looks sideways whistling.

We continue to run despite the herds of C.Os is approaching until Mina said.

"Wait!!" Mina shouted making Amy almost crash into her back.

"Eek! I almost crashed into you! What's wrong?" Amy said

"look have you seen this before? It's blocking the road." Mina points out to the barrier that looks like a soap bubble. Sobin, me, Aki, and Minseo stopped running and I look at behind and ready Aki's sword.

"Oh...that...." Sobin said trailing off.

"You know about it, Sobin?" Mina asked.

"That's ....the phase barrier," Sobin answered and I already know what that thing is ignored the dialogue and walks towards the barrier and readied Aki's sword. Amy notices this and asked.

"What are you doing, Y/n?" Amy said catching the group's attention. I said nothing and gripped Aki's sword tightly making the veins bulge and swing the sword towards the barrier and the sword hits making the barrier cracks shocking everyone, Sobin, especially because the barrier, is known to be tough but I just swing the sword making the barrier crack.

*Crack* " The sword is cracking." I said making Aki look at her sword and seeing it almost cracked make her fall to Minseo for support.

"H-how?" Sobin asked stuttered.

"So, you're basically saying we can't leave the city, huh?" Mina said finishing Sobin's earlier explanation. While this happen, I didn't notice Amy looking at me suspiciously.

"Yes," Sobin said gaining composure and looking at me weirdly when I look at her, I point out our back who basically surrounding us with C.Os and said.

"We're surrounded," I said and Mina nodded making the rest look at the C.Os who are surrounding us. I give Aki's sword to Aki who looks at me tearfully." How did you make the sword like this! I spent my money on this sword!" she shouted.

I point to our surroundings and she looks at our surroundings right now and jumped behind my back.

"I take it back please protect me," Aki said irritating Mina who looks at her right now behind my back though she didn't know why she was acting like this. I just nodded and ready my fists and said.

"Minseo, get behind me," I said making her go behind me. Soon, the C.Os attacked. Mina shoots the C.Os, Amy is using her Yo-Yo, and Sobin uses her weapon. While I just stay back because I don't have a weapon.

'Come on! Come out, Mercenary!' I internally shouted because right now we're in a bad situation.

"M-Mina, my gun barrel is about to melt," Sobin said.

"Get behind me! I'll buy us some time!" Mina said while shooting the C.O." How about you, Amy!"

"There's no end to them!" Amy shouted while using her YoYo to hit the C.O in front of her." The sound of fighting is probably kept drawing more of them."

"Stalling will just get us killed!" Mina shouted."We have to regroup and find an opening!"

"B-but.." Amy hesitated.

"Just hold on." I said catching everyone's attention."Did you hear that?"

"What do you mean?" Mina said.

"The sound of footstep and lot of them," I said making everyone straining their ears and Amy shouted in joy.

"That's right! I hear them!!" Amy said.

Then, the C. Os that come to us is killed and we hear a voice.

"Charlie 1 to HQ. We've got eyes on the C.O. cluster.Engaging."

"This is HQ. The 2nd Mechanized Unit is on its way there. Hunt down every single one of them."

"Roger that."

"I-is that the city guard? T-they seems a bit different though.." Sobin said

"Did someone call them?" Amy looks at me and I shake my head saying no.

"Then who are they?" Amy said

"Who goes there? You don't seem to be ordinary civilians except for the guy." The mercenary asked.

Then, Amy replied that I  am a normal guy to cover what I did and Amy said.

"Oh, we're just a bunch of Counter who happened to be here when all this happened," Amy said

"Counter. So, you're wanderers. I see. That's all I needed to hear." The mercenary said. "HQ, we've got six individuals who appear to be Counter and one normal civilian. Requesting guidance on what to do."

"...Wilco. I'll guide them to P-7." The mercenary said." Alright, kids, time to go home. Don't roam around the streets and go to the nearest shelter as instructed."

While this happened I was observing Mina who is on the verge of rage and I go towards her while she was about to argue catching Aki, Minseo, and Sobin's attention.

"Hey."Mina said." I know you just saved us but isn't this a bit out of line. You can't just boss us around like that."

"Easy, Mina. Easy. Um...We may not look like much but we're still Counters, you know...." Amy said "we can give you a hand." but The mercenary suddenly take a hostile approach and I was behind Mina at this time.

"Don't make me repeat myself. You'll just only get in the way. Stop bothering and go to shelter this instant." The mercenary said with an aggressive voice. "That's an order."

"Order? Who said we'd let you order us around like that ?!" Mina shouted. The mercenary team then arrived and stay behind the mercenary guy that talked earlier intimidating Mina.

"We're in actual combat. Failure to comply will results and immediate punishment." The mercenary said. " You only get one warning...."

"You're a bunch of-" Mina said and Amy was about to cut off Mina but I then head pat Mina making her look at me smiled and was about to feel embarrassed but she feels something malicious. My action caught the team's attention because they can sense something is wrong with me.

"Ah, sir. Do apologize she just had a bad day, do forgive her, please?" I said smiling maliciously making the mercenary look at me.

"Do I stutter? Get going before i-" The mercenary said but was cut off by me released my bloodlust making the whole team of mercenaries shocked because they thought you were a normal guy.

"Now, mister. I ask kindly you shall give an answer more kindly, okay?" I said releasing my bloodlust and a very scary glare. The mercenary nodded fearfully losing all of his hostility earlier.

The whole people who are there had a time breathing including Mina who right now, I was still head patting. The entire team of mercenary team shivered under my gaze. Then, I close my eyes and stop head patting Mina and sigh dropping my bloodlust, and ask Amy if she knew where is the shelter. She fearfully nodded and I tell her to lead the way and she goes but still looks at me though glancing. The rest of the team follow suit but they keep their distance including Mina who is surprised I have such bloodlust and Sobin who looks at me unsurely.

Y/n Pov

'I wonder what the hell is wrong with me when I see that happens. Ah, right because I have a crush on her.' I thought while glancing at Mina and notices I looks at her when she glances at me and looks elsewhere and go to Amy.' Right, I forgot I can get impulse like this when someone I cared about hurt because I'm not making that mistake a second time.'

Amy Pov

'The hell kind of aura was that?!!! It's almost like a battle veteran war!!!!' Amy shouted because you are suspicious but she doesn't have any evidence furthermore you are able to scare those mercenaries just by glaring at them!!.

Mina Pov

'That bloodlust, how did he manage it? And it makes me feel hard to breathe and that strength.....but his hand feels warm almost like....my sister.' Mina thought.

All of Y/n's actions have made Sobin, Mina, Amy, Aki, and Minseo made them believe he has some sort of hidden strength but is still fearful of him because of events earlier. There is only one thought among the teams....
