You know what day it is? Guess who is finally 18!! I'm just so happy. I know that blabber mouth Zara invaded my privacy and told you that I decided to not celebrate my birthday. Well guess what? She didn't lie. I really am not celebrating it. And no! It's not because Aminu is not with me. Well maybe but I was living my life before I even knew him right? I shouldn't let him affect me. Maybe I don't like him after all. Maybe it was just an infatuation. I was just living the moment. Yesss exactly! And now I'm going to have fun like no tomorrow. No time for love or boy problems. That's my first resolution as an official 18 year old 🌚. Now diary if you'd excuse me I have to go plan my day you know with my friends.

So as today is my birthday, my friends and I are using uber yay! Who's excited? Asin it's my birthday so we have ta spend some cash 💰 but the thing is I'm going to take myself there so I'm spending my cash. I hope they are not trying to play a birthday prank on me. I won't lie.... I was expecting to get a text or call from Aminu. If nothing at least a 'happy Birthday' would've been okay but I guess everything happens for a reason right? Maybe we were just not meant to be. I want to be positive. I want to say 'Aminu? Who cares about him? Does someone with that name really exist?' But I know that I'm just deceiving myself. I don't know if I'm being emotional here but I had plans for me and Aminu. Big big plans. I guess that saying you can't always get what you want is true. It has always been. I've never been lucky when it comes to boys. I thought my first relationship would last but.... I dunno maybe I'm just not good with boys or the people in my village did jazz for me. But I will shame my enemies. They should not worry.

So what if my friends actually planned a surprise party and something for me. Something like them flying Big Sean to Nigeria just for me. Just for my 18th birthday.
