Steffi POV 

We have all herd of Ashley Green. The girl that mysteriouly disappeared at a party one night. It was pretty obvious what happened to her. She was probably really wasted or something and got lured into a pedofiles car or something. Chief continued with what he was talking about.

"We need 6 police to try and help solve the case of where Ashley went that night. Time is running out and people are desperate" 

I wondered why he invited us trainees in this meeting. It was pretty obvious that we wouldn't be doing this case. 

"I have also contacted 6 of the top detectives in this area" chief explained "everyone meet Will, Chiara,   Sophie, Issy, Joe and Alex. I saw 6 people, 2 boys and 4 girls standing up there. Kate whispered to me 

"So Steff who do you think is the hottest?"

"I don't know it's a bit weird asking that as were basically working with them" I answered.

"Will is kinda hot same with Joe" she said.

Chief started talking again "ok we need Officers Blair, Jim, Hamish, Kate, Bella and Steffi. If your name wasn't called your not right for this case so get out and continue with whatever your doing"

Everyone who wasn't called grumbled and walked out clearly annoyed they weren't chosen. I was really happy I was. This is such a great opportunity to finally do some REAL work that's not cleaning the hallways

Tom who is this too old, stupid Trainee strolled up to Chief and started complaining.

" err sir I wasn't called" he mumbled not even looking at him in the eye.

"That's because the police department don't want to on this case, we also don't you working with us. We've given you 4 years Thomas to become a proper policeman and it usually takes only a year to become one. We thought you would prove us wrong but clearly not so get out your fired" explained chief grumpily 

Tom signed and stormed off.

"Bye Tommy" said Kate.

"Bye baby I'll text you we should totally go out sometime what's your number?" answered Tom

"Um I'll message you on Insta" Kate said quickly.

When Tom left the room Kate whispered to me

"Oh my god he's such a creep I'm only 21! I'm totally blocking him on all my social media thank god I didn't give him my number" complained Kate reaching for her phone.

Basically Kate flirted with Tom a few months ago as he won tickets to go to a nightclub opening, but when they got there Kate abanded Tom and went home with this cute Uni student. 

"Hey Steffi we should go meet some of the detectives" exclaimed Bella.

"Ok sure" I said and me and Bella walked up to where some officers were meeting the detectives. 

"A pretty blonde woman and an attractive man walked up to me and Bella

"Hi I'm detective Alex and this is my boyfriend Joe" the lady said.

"Nice to meet you Alex and Joe" said Bella as I smiled at them.

"Pleasure" Joe said. Then Jim a police officer walked up to them and they started talking.

I looked around at everyone mingling with each other. Jim and Blair were talking to Alex and Joe. Chiara, Issy, Sophie and Hamish were all having a convosation and typical Kate was making out with Will. 

"This is so cool that we actually got chosen to do this" gushed Bella.

"Yeah I'm so excited" I smiled.

Suddenly my phone beeped. It was a text message from an anonymous number. Uncertainly I read it

The police checked the alleyway where Ashley was last seen right? Well in my opinion it's always good to double check...

I was so confused. Everyone was looking at there phones now and looking around

"Is this some kind of joke?" Bella said. 

"What even is this?" someone said 

"Who sent this?" Another person asked.

There was whispers around the room as everyone was so confused.

"Well" Hamish a police who is kinda shy and doesn't really talk much said "maybe we should go to the alleyway because there could be something the police missed down there..." 

"I don't know" said Will "I have a bad feeling about this" 

"I think we should go" said Issy and Sophie and Chiara agreed. 

"Well that's final then" said Joe "looks like we're of to the alleyway near that house where the party was held..."
