Hes Hurting Me (Part Two)
PART TWO!
Takes place when Virgil wakes up from his nap and stuff.
Also, this is a bit more light hearted. Lol.
TRIGGER WARNINGS: A bit of swearing? Meh

Virgil's POV
I yawn, waking up from my nap. I sit up, and remember everything from earlier today. Sighing, I look at the clock. It has been several hours, and it is now 2:38 PM. I'm sore, but the bruising around my arms and legs and such has gone down a bit.
I stand up, and walk to the bathroom. Taking off my clothes, and then my bandages, I step into the shower. I turn on cold water, ignoring how the ice-cold feeling pierces into my skin like needles.
I take a quick shower, put on fresh bandages, and then out on fresh clothes (up top, but with black shoes, in any style you can imagine if you want). I grab my keys, wallet, phone, and portable charger, and walk out the door. I lock it from the outside, and walk down the street to the small, local park.
I sit on a bench, looking around at the pretty nature. Soon, a child walks up to me. It's a little girl, seemingly around four or five. I glance up, and see her mother, smiling softly at me from afar.
"Hi mister!" The child says in a small, innocent voice. She hands me something. I look at it, and see that it is a small card. "My mommy says not to open it until later. My name is Bella! (BellasMuffins :3) What's your name?" The child asks.
"My name is Virgil." I say in a soft, nice voice, so I don't startle her with my usually snappy one. "That's a nice name! I need to go now, and see my daddy over there!" The little girl, now known as Bella, points over to a hardware store. I see through a window, a man smiling at the girl, the mother, and me. I assume it is the little girls father.
I nod. "Well, go back to your mommy and do that." I say, smiling. "Oki! Have a nice day, mister!" She skips back over to her mother, a pure and innocent look on her face. The mother and Bella walk over to the hardware store, and I go back to minding my own business.
After a few minute, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look behind me, seeing the the mother from earlier. She sits beside me on the bench, a smile on her nice-looking face.
"Hello. My name is Linda. That was my daughter, Bella- she is in the hardware store with her father right now, his name is Jackson." She introduces. I nod. "My name is Virgil. Did you... need something?" I ask, confused.
She nods. "Yes. I work at a hospital, and a regular doctors office on Saturdays. I just gave you my business card," I look down at the card she gave me, and it confirms that it is a business card for the local hospital. "I have seen you around a bit, as I live in the area. And I can't help but notice that you have some kind of injury, somewhere on your body." She looks concerned.
I freeze. Shit shit shit shit shit! Are my wounds visible!? I think to myself, panicking.
"You.. you did?" I ask, nervous. She shakes her head, a tricky smile on her face. "No. That is a trick I do to some people, to help them admit a few things." I facepalm. "Ugh, sorry.." I murmur. "It is alright! I'm not trying to pressure you into anything. But I also work as a private therapist, whenever you need me to." Linda smiles a sweet smile, this time.
I nod. "Okay.. thank you." I put the business card in my pocket, making a silent note to call her if I ever want to admit what is happening at home. Bella and Jackson, the daughter and father, walk back over.
"My shift just ended." The father says, and looks over to me. "Hi, I'm Jackson." He says, holding his hand out for me to shake. I shake it, and he smiles.
We talk for a bit more, but eventually both head home. While I am walking away, I can fairly hear the simple few sentences that make me stop in my tracks, and widen my eyes...
"I wonder why Logan hates that man so much. He is so nice."
"I know. But there is nothing we can do now, is there?"
"..No, I suppose not."
