I needed to talk to someone, so I drove over to Zach's only to have his mom tell me he wasn't home. She invited me in and I ended up hanging with Zara. I really missed this girl she was showing me how to make these rubber band bracelets, we were having so much fun until my phone buzzed. I looked to see it was my mom asking me to come home, I texted back I would be there shortly.

" Z I had a blast but I gotta go."

"You can't stay for dinner?"

"Sorry kiddo, but I will be at your swim meet on Saturday."

"Pinky promise." She said and I smiled and locked pinkies I gave her a hug and grabbed my stuff then I said bye to Mrs. Dempsey, then I went home

I walked in the house to find both of my parents smiling at me

"Uh what's going on?" I asked

"Well we know you've been feeling a little down lately so we got you a present, since today is that last day of your grounding." Dad said and I gave them a look

'What is it?"

"The most gorgeous Kat in the world." Kat said stepping into the living room

"Alley Kat!"

"Chicken Perri, Perri!" We screamed and hugged each other I could hear my parents laughing .

"I can't believe you're here!" I said as we pulled away, then I turned to my parents and hugged them tight

"Thank you guys so much!" I gave each of them a kiss on the cheek and then I pulled Kat back to my room

"Oh my god I've missed you so much" she said giving me another hug

"I've missed you too, I can't believe you're here!" I said again I haven't felt this happy in months

"Yeah so let's get down to business."

"Yeah how did you convince your mom to let you come?"

"Mama and papa Down are really worried, about you and my mom loves you like her own so here I am." She said and I gave her a smile

"So spill it." She said and I rolled my eyes

"Well I'll start then, why didn't you tell me you and Prince Charming broke up?"

"It's a long and complicated story."

"Well I'm here until Sunday so start talking." She said and I just looked at her

"Since when do we keep secrets?"

"Kat a lot has changed-"

"Perri it's me, you know you can tell me anything." She said and I got up and shut the door and locked it

"Alright what I'm about to tell you, you cannot tell anyone."

"You know I won't tell anyone. Is it bad?"

"It's really bad, it's about Hannah." I said and she held my hand

"I'm listening." She said and I told her everything about the tapes, about Zach, about Monty, and finally about Bryce, leaving out what he did to me. When I was done she was speechless

"So?"

"Holy shit."

"Yeah.."

"There are tapes?" She asked trying to grasp everything I just told her

"Yeah she recorded them herself, like her form of a suicide note I guess."

"Oh my god who has them now?"

"Last I checked Clay, had them. No one else has took this long with them."

"Well we know how he felt about her...... And that fucker Bryce is just walking free!" She snapped

"Keep your voice down" I warned

"I knew he was fucked up but this is a whole other level... That Jessica girl won't say anything?"

"Jess still doesn't know anything happened, Justin won't tell her."

"Figures he's always been Bryce's bitch. This is a lot Perri, maybe too much have you though about tell an adult?"

"Every fucking day, but this doesn't just affect me Kat."

"Bryce need to be in jail!"

"I know! Believe me Kat I know." I looked her and she gave me a look

"Has he hurt you Perri?"

"W-what no!"

"We don't keep secrets Perri, this is me ."

"Nothing happened." I said she started to argue back but someone knocked on my door

"Perri, mom says dinner is really." Tyler said through the door

"Ok."

"This isn't over Perri." Kat said as I opened the door
