Narrator's Point of View

When Mark went back inside to get something, Jihoon took the opportunity to talk to Haechan alone.

"Chanie..." Jihoon called out. Haechan looks at him when he hears his name and he hums as an answer.

"I've been courting you for a long time now, right?" Jihoon tells him

"R-Right.." Haechan stutters and shoves his hands inside his hoodie's pocket

"I just want to let you know that I'm really serious about courting you and I'll wait patiently for your answer." Haechan nods but then Jihoon speaks again

"I'm sorry but I just want to do this." Before Haechan can even respond, Jihoon pulls Haechan by the waist and kisses him near his lips. It lasted for a few minutes before Mark approaches them furiously.

"Mark—" Haechan didn't have any time to talk to Mark because he interrupts him.

"Keep it.... I'm done with all of this bullshit. Move!" Haechan felt a sudden pain in his chest and his eyes are getting wet but Mark already started the engine of his car and drove off quickly.

"Well, I'll be going now Chanie..." Haechan was still in a trance and didn't get to bid Jihoon goodbye as he instantly went inside his house to calm himself down.

<< Present Day >>

"Still no text from Mark, hyung?" Haechan asked Jaehyun who shook his head and frowned at him

Haechan sighed and sat at the chair. It's been two days since Mark went missing... Two days since Haechan stopped smiling and he doesn't know why... In fact, he's the only one who's been oblivious of what's happening to himself and he denies it when someone tells him that he's not as lively as ever and he just responds that he's been really stressed and tired although everyone can see it wasn't the reason as to why he's been acting so dull lately.

"Cheer up Haechan.... Maybe he's just sleeping at another girl's house." That sentence made Haechan sulk more and Jungwoo smacked his boyfriend's head for his stupid choice of words.

"A-Another girl's house?" Haechan repeats

"Lucas meant another friend's house or maybe he's fixing something that's why he's been absent for two days." Taeyong explained and Haechan just nodded.

Feeling more lifeless than ever, Haechan leaves the cafeteria while everyone watches him, the cute joyful boy, leaves the area with again a dull expression.

"Mark, you do know that you can't keep skipping school days. You're lucky that no one called your parents about your sudden dissapearance." Mark's uncle, Lee Soo Man told him

"Nah, mom called me about it to check on me because the school called them." Mark replied to his uncle while staring at Haechan's picture on Instagram.

"What exactly happened to you and that boy?" His uncle pointed at the boy on his phone

"How did you know?" Mark asks his uncle who laughs at him

"Two days ago, you've been moping around my house and always staring at that boy's picture. Is he your boyfriend?" His uncle asks him and sat down next to him.

Mark sits straight and sighs.

"Well no, he's not my boyfriend... But I felt something when I saw him kissing another boy... It felt like as if someone stabbed me in the chest." Mark told his uncle while using hand gestures

His uncle stared at him with shock evident on his face. He knew about his nephew being a boy who never does serious relationships but he never knew that there will be a day when Mark will feel real feelings for someone. Silently, his uncle thanked the boy who's changing Mark.

"Do you like him?" His uncle asked him

"Well no-I mean yeah but I-no- I don't know!" Mark shouts out of frustration and grabs locks of his hair.

"I'll ask you again... This time you need to be sure of it." His uncle tells him and Mark only nods im response

"Do you like him?" He asks his nephew

"I really fucking like him." Mark answers and his uncle smacks him on the head

"Ow! What was that for?!" Mark asks his uncle while massaging his head trying to lessen the pain

"You're in my house and you shouldn't be cursing." Mark rolls his eyes and mutters a yeah before getting hit again

"Don't you dare roll your eyes on me!" His uncle tells him

"If you really like him and he doesn't have a boyfriend, then what are you still doing here?" His uncle adds

"I don't know... Chilling?" Mark answers dumbfounded by the question

"Go get him idiot!" His uncle smacks his head for the third time.

"Haechan!" Haechan looked back unenthusiastically to the person who called his name who's none other than Park Jihoon.

"Hey..." Haechan muttered sadly and Jihoon frowned

"That face has been very annoying lately." Jihoon pouts but Haechan reacts so slowly

"Okay." Haechan said before leaving Jihoon alone.

Haechan didn't join his friends on the way back home and stood at the main entrance of the school for an hour still hoping that someone would come back. But all his hopes came crashing down again for the second day as the person he was waiting for never came. Haechan walks back to his empty house without a word.

"I miss him." Haechan utters to himself before letting all his hidden feelings for Mark show.

Minutes after Haechan broke down, the doorknob shakes and the door bursts open showing a panting Mark. Haechan sniffs and wipes his tears using his shirt's sleeve and stares at Mark with wide eyes.

"Look, I'm very sorry! I was stupid and I let jealousy take control of me! Heck! My uncle even smacked my head three times before I came here and I just fucking love you! Like so so much! I drove all the way to the school but I was late and I thought you already got home and my car died and I told Jaehyun hyung to pick it up and I ran all the way—" Before Mark can even finish his explanation, Haechan puts his arms around Mark's neck and pouts at Mark

"Can you just get it that I love you too and just kiss me?" Haechan giggles and Mark kisses Haechan's lips softly and spins him around

"I love you so fucking much Lee Donghyuck." Mark announces and Haechan kisses him

"Stop cursing!" He whines and they both laughed before spending the rest of the day by watching Disney movies and cuddling.

Indeed Mark turned to a softie and it's all because of a boy named Lee Donghyuck
