After I changed into my maid uniform, Wolfie brought me down to the dining room.

Cole was standing with his back to us, facing a man even taller than him who looked like he could be Cole's father. His black hair was cut short and had a slight cowlick on one side and his eyes were a darker blue, but there was a clear family resemblance. He also looked purely American.

"Who is that?" I lean over and ask Wolfie.

Wolfie flicks her forest green hair streaked with black over her shoulder, "That's Master Cole's father, Master Nicholas Daitan."

I frowned, "He looks all American..."

Wolfie nodded, "He moved here from America close to thirty years ago and changed his name."

"I see."

Cole heard us and turned around. He looked back at his father, "As you can see, I'm busy. I have to show the new girl around."

Master Daitan didn't even glance at me, "One of the other girls can show her around."

Cole crossed his arms, "Fine. Wolfie, show her around, she'll have the sane duties as you."

"Is she also replacing Haru, sir?" Wolfie asked.

Cole nodded.

"Very well," Wolfie bowed before dragging me away.

"Who's Haru?" I asked as we ascended the staircase.

"Haru was an orphan girl who worked for us until recently. She was mysteriously called away a couple of weeks ago."

"What did she do here?"

"A lot of the same things I do, as well as attended personally to Master Cole. Master Cole doesn't let a lot if people in his room, some big secret he doesn't want anyone knowing."

Wolfie leaned closer to me with a mischievous grin on her face, "Personally, I like to think he's secretly a super hero posing as a college student."

Wolfie looked at me seriously and we both laughed at how ridiculous the idea was.

Wolfie gave me the grand tour of the mansion except for two rooms, "No one is allowed in Master Daitan's office, and only you will be allowed in Master Cole's room. Other than that, we do basic things, dust, vacuum, mop and sweep, laundry, run errands and messages around the mansion, things like that."

"Sounds simple enough."

"The butler, Mr. Yumaki, answers the door and attends to the Master and Mistress. The cooks take care of food and dishes. We also have grounds keepers, some of them are pretty cute," Wolfie winked at me.

We head back to our shared room. Cole is waiting for us there.

"Hello ladies," he smiles politely at us.

"Good morning, Master Cole," Wolfie curtsied and I followed suit.

Up close, Cole's smile looked forced, like he had other things on his mind, "Come with me, Kitty, I'll show you what your other jobs are."

I nodded and he lead me to the other side of the mansion. Double doors made of dark wood opened to a simple but luxurious bedroom. The floor was plush white carpet, the walls a light tan. A cream canopy bed sat off on one side of the room near a walk in closet. Two doors were on the other side if the room. The door closest to us was open, revealing a master bathroom. The other door was shut tight, probably locked.

"I try to keep my room as clean as possible, but it's mostly the same work you do around the rest of the mansion. Oh, and one more thing."

Cole turned away quickly, but I noticed a slight blush in his cheeks. Cole took a key off a chain from around his neck and unlocked the second door. I thought the key looked familiar.

"My father can't know about this, he would kill me if he found out. Before I show you what's behind this door, I need you to promise you will never tell my father."

Cole was definitely blushing. I guessed it was more embarrassing than incriminating. I promised to him.

After a moment of hesitation, Cole opened the door. Inside was a hall-like room. A red carpet ran down the center of the room. Wooden, full length cabinets with lights over them lined the walls. Each cabinet held a costume and a picture.

I slowly made my way down the hall. The left side had Gaara from Naruto, Gray from Fairy Tail, Sebastian from Black Butler, Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender, and a few others I didn't recognize. The right side had Subaru, Shuu, and Ruki from Diabolik Lovers, and James from Pokemon as well as others. All the pictures showed Cole, only identifiable by the outfits, and another boy dressed as other characters; Naruto, Natsu, Grell, Aang, Kanato, Reiji, Yuma, and Ash.

A smile crawled onto my amazed lips, "You're a cosplayer?"

"Yes," Cole itched the back of his neck and his blushed deepened.

I looked closely at the other boy in all the pictures, "Who is this other guy?"

"A close friend of mine, we went to high school together."

"This is really cool! I recognize a few of these guys," I gestured to the ones I knew.

Cole perked up, "Really? You just keep getting cooler and cooler!"

It was my turn to blush, "Thank you, sir."

"That key you used, it looked familiar."

Cole showed her the key, "It's not an exact replica, but it's modeled after Subaru's."

I snapped my fingers, "Of course! That's so cool!"

Cole laughed. He seemed to be more comfortable now.

Cole swept his arm across the room, "Which one is your favorite?"

I pointed across the room, "The Subaru one. But Gaara is a close second."

I continued to stare at the amazing level of detail on the Gaara costume.

"What is that?" I heard Cole ask, "On your arm."

I looked down at my left arm. The lack of sleeves on the maid uniform exposed my shoulder, and the tattoo on it.

"It's just a tattoo," I lied. Well it was a tattoo, of a single white rose with a musical score swirled around it, but it wasn't just a tattoo. It had a deeper meaning, one too personal to tell a stranger.

"It's quite beautiful, but you know how hard it is to find work with tattoos these days?"

I shrugged, "You hired me without knowing I had one. It isn't a problem is it?"

"No," Cole shook his head, "I was just wondering."
