An hour has passed after the space pirate captain Antioch has killed himself, the remaining space pirate crew has fled from the ship after hearing the news of how their captain is now dead. Now the ship s.s. Dusk belongs to the Cosmic Soldiers again, from which it will take time for the power to come back.

The android is at the infirmary, tending to Hayato' wound as he lay in bed. She had to replace the bandages when the blood seeped through, even though it was painful for Hayato. Prior, she already told the remaining Cosmic Soldiers about what was going on while they were in hypersleep: the space pirates has taken over the ship and Antares led her and Hayato to drive them away. Unfortunately for them, the pirate captain killed himself before he can divulge on who is his employer.

As for Antares, he just got done washing his feet in the washroom. He left the washroom only to find that his teammates had come to congratulate him for driving away the space pirates, much to his surprise.

"Thanks, but I only did it for your safety" he said.

"But two of our teammates are dead because of them! We have to give them a funeral!" Said one Cosmic Soldier, taking off his helmet and wiped the tears off his eyes.

"You may proceed with the funeral, I'll have to go to the planet Cecrops to get the bottom of this problem" He said, determined to find out who had employed the space pirates that had taken over the ship.

His teammates looked at him with hope in their tear filled eyes, and he smiled at them in assurance that he'll take care of the problem. Then he left to the infirmary, to see how the android and Hayato are doing. At the infirmary, he saw the Cosmic Soldier on bed and bandages covering the wounds.

"Welcome, Antares" greeted the android.

"How is he, android?" He asked.

"He is asleep, I had to take his entire armor off to put bandages on him. Also, please don't call me android. I have a name, you know" she answered.

"Then what is it?" He questioned.

"My name is Lauren" she replied.

"Huh, interesting. I was wondering if you'll accompany me to planet Cecrops" he said, scratching his jaw brace.

"I may have hooked Hayato up on the iv tube that transports the blood from the packet into him, but who will look after him while we're gone?" She questioned.

"Don't worry, the rest of the team will have to look after him for the time being" he reassured.

Lauren looked at Hayato in concern, before nodding in approval.

With that done, the two had left the infirmary. Before they leave, they told the Cosmic Soldiers that one is wounded during battle has to be taken care of. They walked down the stairs that led them to the landing bay that has the cruisers, from which Antares' cruiser is at the center. Antares walked towards his cruiser, and brushed the dust off the windows since it has been years when he last used it.

"Are you sure you are going to Cecrops without boots?" Asked Lauren.

"Well, you've seen me walking on this ship barefoot. Especially since I woke up from hypersleep with only underwear and exoskeleton, so I'm used to this now" answered Antares, as he grinned.

He opened his cruiser and stepped inside, and Lauren joined in. Despite the fact that there's only one seat, there's room for two people. He buckled his seatbelt, and turned on the cruisers controls. Then he pulled the lever back, causing the cruiser to hover and flew out of the ship.

"Hold on tight, because this flight is about to get dangerous!" He warned.

The cruiser flew straight into the atmosphere of planet Cecrops, and the two started to see a dark blue sky with white clouds, almost like earth. The force upon entry into the atmosphere was bad that it made Antares felt like his stomach was pushing against his spine. The cruiser made it to the surface safely, but he felt sick after the atmospheric entry. Lauren has scanned the surface and noticed that there's lakes, rivers, abandoned cities and outposts, as well as vegetation.

"I have detected water sources and vegetation on this planet, but I also have detected buildings on the surface. It seems that it was built by natives long ago" said Lauren.

"I'll have to land this soon, because we're almost out of fuel" said Antares.

He guided the cruiser towards a remote outpost nestled in a forest, and carefully landed it on the ground. He opened the cruiser, and he and Lauren stepped out of it. The ground was oddly smooth and warm beneath his feet, almost like he's standing on a polished marble inside a house.

"The ground itself felt smooth, not sandy nor muddy" he said, brushing his right foot across the ground.

Lauren scanned the soil and, much to her surprise, it was almost like earths soil but clearly isn't.

He walked over to one tree, and noticed that it has fruit growing on it. These fruits looked almost like pomegranate  trees, but light yellow with white spots like a golden delicious type apple. He took a bite out of it, and it tasted sweet but almost like a mix between a banana and a peach. He felt it's juices running from the corners of his mouth and into his jaw bracer, from which he took it off.

"This tree and vegetation is real, but it's fruit is rather juicy like a peach despite looking like a pomegranate" he said to himself, wiping the juice from his mouth.

"Antares, this planet is unlike any other planet we have known. I couldn't tell if it's artificial or natural, and it's rather perplexing to say the least" said Lauren.

"Then it's time for us to explore" he said, picking few fruits from the tree.
