Antares bent down to feel for something that can provide light in the darkness, and lucky for him, he felt his weapon (specifically, a laser blade) at the base of the pod where his armor was stored. He picked it up, and it projects a blade made of red colored hard light that lit up the room.

"This will work" he said with a smirk, picking up his shield.

"With the power out, we should be able to take on the captain" said the alien.

"But I have to be quick, because eventually my team will wake from hypersleep. When that happens, they'll be easy prey" he explained.

He then realized this, and quickly left the room and headed back to the cryopod chamber. Once he entered, he saw that one Cosmic Soldier has already been awoken and laying on the floor with oxygen mask still on his face. Antares bent down and took off the Cosmic Soldiers oxygen mask, seeing as he is still covered in frost. Upon examination, the Cosmic soldier has black hair and is Japanese in origin.

"Don't worry, everything will be alright. The ship is invaded by space pirates, so I have to fight to drive them off from here" he assured.

The Cosmic soldier stared at him silently, mouth was open as if he is trying to talk.

Antares carefully set the Cosmic soldier up against the pod, so the Cosmic soldier can sit up and not laying down. It was obvious that the Cosmic Soldier' body is still frozen solid to the point that he couldn't move and get up.

"Do you remember your name?" Antares asked.

The Cosmic soldier tried to answer, but no sound. Luckily, his lips stiffly formed the word "Hayato".

"That's a good name, but as soon as your limbs thawed out, you should be able to put on your armor. There's even freeze dried food to eat and water to warm you up" said Antares.

Hayato stiffly nodded his head, and tried to stand up.

"Easy there! Do you want your legs snapped off from the pressure? Just take it slow and wait for your limbs to thaw out" Antares warned.

Hayato was already standing up, leaning against his pod for support. He is out of breath after the effort of standing up, since his blood vessels are still thawing out along with his heart and lungs.

Antares shook his head and placed his hand on his visor in disappointment that a member of his team didn't listen to him, but he is willing to help despite the possibility that the rest of the team will wake up eventually.

"Need... armor... food..." croaked Hayato, since his voice is finally thawing out.

"I bet you do, because we can't let you walk around wearing only underwear and an exoskeleton. You'll be an easy target due to how vulnerable you are, and you would've been killed" said Antares.

He had to help Hayato walk, and escorted the Cosmic soldier to the room where he had found his armor and freeze dried food. Lucky for Hayato, Antares is carrying a laser blade that provides light in the dark hallway. Once the two entered the room, Antares placed his laser blade in order to light the room so Hayato can see. Then Hayato looked into each pod that contains suits of armor, trying to see which one is his.

As for Antares, he wonders where the alien he had spared went to. He assumed that the alien went off to see it's captain to try and convince that the Cosmic Soldiers are waking up due to the power outage, and to leave the ship. Finally, Hayato found his suit of armor and opened the pod. Inside, the suit of armor looked a lot like Antares' armor but the boots have been broken into pieces. Then Antares looked inside the pod, and noticed the damage to the boots.

"Looks like you haven't properly placed your armor before going into hypersleep" he said.

"I... was... rushing...!" Hayato hissed.

Antares sighed, and detached both of his boots from his leg guards. Then he took them off and handed them to Hayato, much to the Cosmic Soldiers confusion.

"Here, you can take my boots. These will keep your feet warm and protected" he said.

Hayato stared at him with silent confusion.

"Look, I don't care if I walk barefoot. I'm only doing this for a teammate, and it's part of the rules that a Cosmic soldier has to give up a piece of their armor to a teammate whose piece of armor is broken" he explained, much to his dismay.

Hayato smiled at him, before starting to put on his armor.

"As soon as you get done suiting up, it's your priority to eat and drink to prevent starvation and dehydration" he said.

Antares left the room, and walked through the corridor. The metal floor felt cold beneath his feet, but he's used to the coldness ever since he woke up from hypersleep. Hopefully, Hayato can find his own laser blade to provide light. In the right corridor, he saw windows that showed a deep blue planet with craters that scarred its unnaturally smooth surface along with greenish splotches.

"Is this Cecrops that we're orbiting?" He wondered in his head.

He continued walking down the corridor, carrying both his shield and laser blade in case if any alien pirate are going to ambush him. At the end of the corridor, a big metal door that reads "mainframe/android storage room".

"Bingo, looks like I found where the ships AI is at" he said with a smile.

He approached the door, and took off his helmet so the retinal scanner can scan his eye. Despite the ship losing power, it retained a small portion of electricity for scanners to function just to let authorized personnel in (especially Cosmic Soldiers" and to keep intruders out. Once the retinal scanner recognized him, the metal slid open thus providing him entry to the mainframe of the ships AI. Then the computer turned on, showing a hazy image of the same female AI of the ship that he had met after waking up from hypersleep.

"Welcome... Antares! Do-do-do you remember what-what I instructed you to do?" She said in a glitchy voice.

"Yeah, I remembered. You wanted me to go here, take you out of the mainframe, and install you inside a remote body" he said.
