Tenebrisi was looking forward to meeting with Noctave. Ever since he and Philiana decided to make theirs an open relationship, he started to feel kind of lonely. So why not try to reconnect with an ex?

Tenebrisi looked essentially like a scrawny shadow spirit that was all gooey and stringy. He was made in a hurry to replace Umbrum, and he really needed more time in the forge.

Noctave wrote a letter to Dia before teleporting to Tenebrisi's meeting spot. It read as such:

I'm meeting with an ex of mine. Don't worry about it, he's not crazy like Halucina. I wonder what he's thinking, wanting to reconnect with me while I'm in a relationship. I'm sure it's crazy, and I'm curious about his thought process.

If the moon doesn't rise tomorrow, panic. But only then.

Noctave decided to dress a little darker to show that she wasn't there to get back with Tenebrisi. She even went as far to wear her harness that was in the back of her closet over her dress.

Tenebrisi decided to wear a nice, red suit that Philiana picked out for him earlier, over-thinking and fretting about if the present she got was good enough, or that she wouldn't show up at all.

The meeting spot was the woods behind Philiana's beach house. Tenebrisi stood, impatient for Noctave to arrive.

Noctave arrived, and Tenebrisi gave her a rose.

Surprised, she said "Thanks, but I can't accept it..."

"Of course you can, Noctave!" He put the rose behind her ear. "It's the least you can do."

Noctave took it out and gave it back to Tenebrisi. "Don't. I'm taken."

"You could date me and Dia at the same time."

This statement surprised Noctave. "Oh, OK, I thought you'd try to convince me to break up with Dia."

Tenebrisi replied in mock offense. "I thought you had a higher opinion of me than that, Noctave! What will I do with you?"

Even though she wasn't willing to get back with Tenebrisi, she had to admit that he had a charming smile.

"Are you willing to get back with me?"

Noctave shook her head. "Maybe if you made that offer in March, I'd be tempted. But Dia's a worrier, and she might get kind of jealous if she sees me with you."

"Oh, I see...I don't have a lot of exes I'm on good terms with...Hold on, Verdant is single, isn't he?"

Noctave was a bit confused. "What's this talk of exes? And Verdant apparently has a lover."

He ignored the first part. "He does? Who is it?"

"I don't know, he was secretive about that. Please, for the love of the moon, don't speculate and spread rumors. It'll destroy their relationship."

But Tenebrisi just couldn't resist.
