Hanna looked at Emily curiously as she checked the time on her phone. A look of guilt spread across her face as she became aware of the 'too early time' for them to be up. "Sorry Han, I had a weird dream, it doesn't matter now, just go back to sleep. Sorry for waking you" Hanna rolled her eyes and gave her a look that told her to elaborate on the dream. Emily was still in shock though and told her that she would tell her later.
"Really Em?" She glared at her best friend, who had woken her up in the middle of the night and gave her a half-assed excuse for doing so. "You're going to wake me in the middle of the night from my perfect dream about me and Gal Gadot, only to tell me that you're not going to tell me that you're not going to elaborate on the events that took place in the dream that you had whilst I was dreaming of a perfect life?" All their lives Hanna had been pretty lenient about the crazy things she let Emily get away with, but waking Hanna up in the middle of the night whilst she was dreaming about her future wife (once she got rid of her husband) was not one of them.
Emily rolled her eyes and flopped back down onto her pillow, which was still extremely stiff and uncomfortable to Emily. "Hanna, I swear it doesn't matter, it was just a strange dream" Even though she knew that she wouldn't win this, she still tried to persuade Hanna to drop the subject.
It didn't work. Hanna stood there with her arms crossed, glaring at her.
And so, that's how they ended up talking for an hour about the weird dream Emily had. "it started off as a few childhood memories you know like my audition to the Synths, then it was Carrie and I sneaking downstairs and getting an early Christmas present and then, then it... I was walking through Dalton academy and then I was in the practice room, there was a boy in there, he didn't speak to me but he kissed me!" Emily shrugged and tried to hide back in her sheets.
As expected Hanna wasn't too pleased with Emily's vagueness about the specific details. Her jaw dropped and she couldn't contain her excitement "who was it?" All of the previous anger about waking her had flown out the window, leaving Emily with a hyperactive gossip addict. She glared at the girl with her hair in a messy bun with strands falling out who was dressed in a batman pyjama top, rainbow pyjama shorts and hello kitty bed socks. She should have just told her it was a nightmare about the horror film they had watched earlier that night. No more questions would have been asked.
Emily shook her head refusing to tell her, all she wanted to do was go back to sleep and forget the whole thing. Emily's will gave in when Hanna gave her the puppy dog eyes, no-one could ever resist her puppy dog eyes (Except maybe every girl she had ever asked out). "Fine, okay, I'll tell you itwasSebastiansmythe" Much to her dismay, she didn't understand, nor did she accept it.
She looked at her best friend with a hopeful look on her face, internally praying that she would leave it at that. Yet, seemingly these days she never got what she wanted with Hanna. Her best friend looked at her confused "Who? Repeat it, but say it slower this time"
Emily just wanted this nightmare to be over. With one last sigh, she turned over away from Hanna and began getting comfy- well as comfy as she could for now- in the covers. Before she re-joined the world of dreams, she whispered to her best friend "it was Sebastian Smythe"
She woke up at 7:30 whilst Hanna was curling her hair, "hey Han" She hoped and prayed that the vague memories of a few hours earlier were actually a dream and she only dreamt that she dreamt of kissing Sebastian- If that even made sense.
However, any hopes of it all being a dream were lost when Hanna said: "Hey, anymore Sebastian dreams?" Emily groaned back into her pillow wishing for a strange demon who fed on teenage embarrassment would appear and take her to hell and eat her soul.
Emily, eventually as the initial shame wore off, stood from her bed and walked over to her closet and grabbed her uniform which was neatly on hangers, hooked onto the door. Unlike Hanna, Emily didn't just leave her uniform lying around, she hung it neatly. As she walked back over to her vanity with her uniform in hand, she pleaded with her best friend to not to tell anyone- especially her brother. Hanna and Taylor seemed to share a special bond that no-one seemed to understand. It wasn't romantic, it was just a 'If Hanna wasn't best friends with Emily, she would be best friends with Taylor' kind of bond.
"Swear on our Best-Friendship" Hanna sighed, seemingly fed up with her best friends insistence on secrecy, and once again swore on their friendship. An action that had only ever been done once before, after the death of Emily's mother. Emily made Hanna swear that they would never stop being friends and that they would never leave each other.
Emily smiled at her best friend, as she buttoned up her blazer and straightened her tie. Hanna's mouth formed an O shape and Emily's smile fell, knowing she wasn't going to like what Hanna was going to say, after a minute of "I knew it!" Emily placed her hair straighteners down and turned to her best friend.
"You knew it? Wait, knew what?" Her eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. She sometimes didn't understand the things that went through her best friends mind. Every now and then, Hanna would have a random outburst that took many backstories to understand. Emily hated those kinds of stories, that came with five mini-stories and a prequel, although she was an avid user of this.
"you like Sebastian! Don't try to deny it, if you didn't like him, then why did you dream about kissing him?" A wave of clarity- and embarrassment, mainly embarrassment- washed over Emily, and she grabbed a random object from the vanity (which happened to be a pen) and threw it at her "shut up and get dressed!" She giggled and threw it back at Emily, hitting her right in the head.
Emily sat in maths waiting for the hell to be over. The hell being, sitting next to Sebastian Smythe. This was the only class with a seating plan because the teacher was very old fashioned- and quite frankly fed up of all the chatter that occurred when they were sat with their friends- and so the class was in boy-girl order, going alphabetically. However, in this class, the alphabet went straight from S, to W. Which meant that Emily Watson, was sat next to Sebastian Smythe.
Today, Emily didn't have the time, nor did she have the patience to argue with his, as her mind was still overwhelmed with the events from her dream. She honestly didn't know why, but deep in her heart, where the brain was not allowed, she knew why.
5 minutes before the class the teacher made an announcement, "okay everyone, as you know in two weeks it is the summer holidays, so you will have a test on Wednesday before you leave, now everyone stop groaning, I'm assigning you study partners and I expect you to actually study with them, okay girls look to the person on your right that will be your study partner"
Emily closed eyes, and prayed for him to disappear, yet when she looked to her right, he was still there.
Emily just wanted to scream. She was confused, and spending more time with him was only going to confuse her even more. Her mood seriously depleted and she crossed her arms across her chest and muttered a small "Just my luck" that was only heard by Sebastian, who ignored it and looked away, towards the teacher.

It's been a month... college is getting easier, but I still don't have time to fully edit. This entire chapter is sloppy because I rushed through it, I just wanted to do it.
I'm also ill so that sucks.
This is the playlist for this chapter. The Black Veil Brides song with the ':)' next to it, is an awesome song, but I didn't exactly listen to the song whilst editing, I just sang along and watched the video 😂😂.
Also, the Ronnie Radke & Andy Black song with the '*' next to it, is awful. I hate it. The only reason it's on the list is because I listened to these on YouTube so it was just whatever played. I love Andy black but the song is vile. I hate it. Also, there's not enough Andy for it to be half decent.
Also, a little life update,l. I've given up dairy and lactose. I am lactose intolerant and I've eaten it all my life, but in an attempt to change and live a healthier life style I have given up lactose. I've not eaten it in a week. Almond milk is somewhat nice and I think I'd really like it if I actually liked almonds. 😂😂
