Chapter 8
You knocked on Inko's door, hidden from bystanders by a baggy, violet hoodie and fades jeans. A ratty old backpack held your supplies and tracker, hidden expertly by the help back home. Izuku was finishing preparations with your father, meaning all you had to do was avoid messing up.
You tapped the door again, this time answered by a breathless 'Come in' from beyond the door. Twisting the knob slowly, you let the door ebb open to glimpse inside the small area. Inko glanced towards the door, turning back to her work for a second before glancing once more and rushing to her feet. Guilt twisted your emotion again as you looked at her sunken eyes and gaunt face, as though she'd been left to herself with no help in the middle of the desert. "Oh! Hello there, uh, (Y/N) correct?" She greeted with zealous. "You should've called first, I would have prepared tea at least."
"I'm sorry Inko, but I didn't have time to call. I have something very important to tell you so I rushed over asap." You confessed, lines rehearsed obsessively in the previous nights sleepless hours.
"Of course! What's on your mind?" She asked. It made you jealous in a way, how you knew she was spending every waking hour looking for an impossible location only to smile and nod when small problems were presented to her. Her heart was too kind to survive the harsh world. You made note to defend her when father renewed the justice of the world.
"It's about Izuku." You said quietly, watching her feet freeze a yard before you. "I know where he is."
"What?!" She gasped, suddenly embracing you tightly with tears finding their way to flood her face. "How did you find him?! Did you tell the police yet? Wasn't it dangerous?"
"I'm fine. After all, I grew up in the room across from his." She didn't catch on fast, seeming confused as you pushed her away. You continued with eyes downcast. "I see his innocence every time I look at his eyes and the guilt is overwhelming. My father will despise me for what I'm doing but I have no choice anymore. I know he doesn't really want to hurt anyone."
Your acting was almost real, even forcing your eyes to water by the power of sheer will. "What are you trying to say?" Inko asked, fumbling a bit with a quivering voice.
"Inko, I'm so sorry. I couldn't take him with me, but he's out of my control now. All he knows is my old morals and a plan to kill All Might. Please, I'm willing to turn myself in if it can save him. I'm guilty. I did it. I kidnapped your son." You gushed with dramatic flair.
Inko seemed horrified, shocked by the confession as you knelt before her. Slowly, making sure not to alarm her any more, you opened the bag you brought and removed a pair of reinforced handcuffs. Setting them on the floor, you removed your hoodie and revealed a well worn uniform, a form fitting top colored black entirely. A sash of purple was tied at your waist. Standing, You removed the jeans to reveal your matching bottom, this part fitted right down to your toe. "I've brought all my information with me. Everything about my quirk, and what I know about the plan, and my medicine as well. If you'd like, I'll put the cuffs on." You offered gingerly.
Inko tried to speak but more than anything she just sounded flustered. Taking the cuffs in your hand, you snapped one of the links around your wrist and held the other to her. She shook her head violently and fled to the kitchen. You could hear as she dialed her phone and spoke in hushed tones. Fear ebbed in her tone, and you fought of the nauseous pain that came with guilt. You hid a smirk as you cuffed your other wrist. Carefully stuffing everything into your bag, then zipping it, you held it in between your contained hands and knelt down, facing the door.
Inko walked back, now more calm. As she looked down at your prayer-like pose, she sucked in a short breath. "T-The h-heroes will be h-here soon." She informed. "Would you l-like something to eat?"
You laughed quietly, swiveling your head so she could see you smiling. "Only you... you are the only person that would offer the person who stole your son from you a snack..." You teased.
She fell silent, and it stayed that way until the door flew open under the force of a multitude of 'heroes.' Your head remained bowed as the shudder of officers and good guys surrounded you. Behind you, you could hear one of them rushing away Inko. The pounding of feet stopped for a moment, then a loud thud left some of the officers jumping in their skins. You knew the lead-footed footsteps, his red, white, and blue feet stopping right in your line of sight.
"Young (Y/N)..." He said ominously, a hush falling over all others.
"All Might." You retorted with a biting tone. "Will you be taking my bag for me or will I be allowed to carry it myself?"
Looking up, you held your bag out to him from between your limited reach. "I may be a villain, but even I know my limits. I'll spill everything, as long as you can get Izuku away from my father."
Your eyes met his own and you smiled.

Though all you saw was the reflection of yourself in the large panel, you knew just beyond officers were cramming in to view you through the one way glass. Your expression was neutral at the moment, a man in a neat suit sitting across from you. You couldn't sense anyone else though.
"Let's go over your case Ms. (Y/N). You've elected to turn yourself in in an attempt to save that friend of yours, the missing person Midoriya Izuku. As good faith, you've provided all your legal papers, quirk information included, and allowed heroes to cuff and contain you. But one thing still isn't clear, why the change of heart? You are a born and raised villain, the daughter one of the most infamous people of our time. Surely your morals can't change so easily." He mused.
"You're right, and they haven't. I grew up under my father's views and still see the world of heroes as hopelessly predjudice in its own faults but..." You paused. "Izuku is so... so..."
You growled with frustration. "He's so damn odd! You saw my quirk, I can tuck his consciousness away in my head. When I control people, all I can hear is them screaming in my head. All I can see is their fears but Izuku... he sounded so gentle. He didn't scream or torture me he just cooed to me. He sounded so concerned, but not for himself. He isn't like the heroes I grew up hating."
The man nodded, jotting down notes. "I see. So... why is it you haven't released him from your control them?" He asked.
It was the same. The interrogator asked you question after question and you answered with scripted grace. You kept your solemn expression as time waned on until finally, you were interrupted.
A singsong-esque knock echoed through the room and you looked up. The interrogator checked his watch, then closed the files and notes he took. "Alright. We have a hero coming in to talk with you regarding our course of action from here." He said breifly. "Hopefully, this ends well for both of us."
"Yeah." You muttered sarcastically. "I look forward to jail time."
He frowned at me a moment before turning his back and opening the door. Beyond the doorway, a familiar grin beamed down. Your heart sank.
"All Might." You growled, unintentionally of course.
"Ah, Young (Y/N)! I finally get the chance to speak with you." He boasted.
"It's too bad it can't be in private." You lulled. "I know the viewing room is crammed full. To be expected from the daughter of Tomura Shigaraki."
All Might laughed in an overly animated way, seeming as though he was trying to force a better atmosphere. You didn't let that happen. "So, what do you want from me?" You asked. "I gave you the plan already."
"Ah yes..." he said, not sitting but standing on the other side of the table. "I was discussing amongst the other heroes and the police, and we have devised a counter that will give us advantage!" He announced, "but we require your help."
You feigned interest, but you expected this. "What? I still don't like you heores. The only reason I'm helping is for Izuku's sake."
"Exactly!" All Might yelled, making you jump back. Seeing you had jumped away he lowered his tone. "(Y/N), you may not have a good sense of the world of heroes, but I see great potiential for you. Despite your father's plan, you abandoned your post to warn us and save someone. That's the mark of a hero."
"So? I can't be a hero if I'm in jail." You uttered.
"Unless you don't go to jail."
Though you had prepared to bluff your way through, this peaked your interest. Your heart skipped a beat. "What?"
"If, you agree to help us recover Izuku and stop the League of Villains, I swear to you, under close surveillance of course, that you will be allowed to attend U.A. rather than serve time in jail! You're quirk could be used for wonderful things!"
For a moment your chest fluttered. You were quiet as you imagined a reality like that, if you were to have a normal childhood rather than what you got. To go to school with Izuku, maybe make some friends. It sounded wonderful, but that isn't why you couldn't accept. "I'll be an outcast anyway." You murmured. "The villain's daughter... but..." you paused. "I want to help Izuku."
"I'll do it, as long as we can save Izuku!" You nodded.
All Might planted a large hand on your shoulder and smiled, giving you a mighty thumbs up. "You won't regret it! I must be on my way, but soon I'll send in a few heroes to brief you on the mission!" He assured.
Without another word, he left. You leaned back in your chair and closed your eyes, milling around in your connections until you found your favorite one. You couldn't see or hear through him, but you could feel his emotion. It was raw hatred, but fear as well. Even now, the real Izuku poked his head through the persona of what you'd created. You sighed, heart twisting.
Soon enough, the heroes came and began to brief you. You pretended to care, but you couldn't help but want it to be over already.
