Chapter 3

You glanced at the clock and sighed, the hour still too early to bother anyone. You stood back from the sporadically painted canvas and hummed. Your foot tapped the ground in time to the music in your ear. Leaning forward, you were careful to paint with fine care as slowly you began to refine the details. You hummed gently as your painbrush worked its way across the canvas with the hand of an artisan.

As you stood back, you tapped your colored tingertips to your chin and tilted your head. Smiling, you nodded and removed your apron from your neck. "I'll let this coat dry before continuing." You muttered to no one. You hung your battered aprons on a bed post and brought your palette and pigmented tools with you into the bathroom. You took care to clean the tools after starting the shower. Steam slowly crawled into the room and clouded the mirror. For the best, you thought. You were still wearing that horrendous uniform after all, and you didn't feel like seeing it again.

Setting aside your painting materials, you took a deep breath of the humidity and grinned. You stripped away the uniform and hung a towel over the door handle. Stepping carefully past the plasic curtain, you let warm streams of water cut through the filth that splattered your arms. You hummed as you scrubbed away dry acrylic paint and then massaged shampoo into your knotted hair. Your singing was faint, but their none the less as you swayed in the shower.

"It's Strange.... Strange.... Strange...
But I don't need space from you.
And every single thing you do... I like..."

You hummed as you washed away the paint and dirt, unknotting your hair and then turning off the shower once more. You stepped out and wrapped the towel around your bodice. You unlocked the door and entered your room. As you shuffled through your drawers, a faint knock rapped at your door and your head perked. Throwing on panties and a random t-shirt, you walked to the door.

You threw it open and looked at the offender, up far too early. "Oh, it's you." You said frankly. "Aren't you up early for a newbie?"

His green hair was a mess and sleep was still clinging to his darkened eyes. However he wore a pair of sweatpants and a tanktop already, his hands bandaged as though he were leaving to take on a sparring championship. "I always wake up early." Midoriya said. "I run before breakfast and then I go to school."

"Well that's going to be an issue." You muttered. "Just a bit of knowledge, we're not a hotel. I don't even get provided breakfast. So you're schedule is pretty much clear."

Your stomach growled and you glanced into your room at your alarm clock. It was set to go off in five minutes, but you didn't bother to turn it off. Closing the door without warning, you swung towards your dresser and revealed a fitted T-shirt. Pairing it with a dark pair of patched jeans, your favorite black converse and a light windbreaker, you dressed quickly. As a last measure, you threw on a ball cap then grabbed your wallet. Midoriya still stood at your door but you glided around him easily and locked the door behind you.

"You can go now." You said bluntly as you stuffed a key in your pocket. "Enjoy your run or whatever."

"Wait, where are you going?" He asked.

"None of your buisness." You retorted.

The shrill pulse of your alarm clock started to sing and a grin stretched over your face. "Bye!"

You turned on your heel and darted away, weaving your way out as annoyed cries called for your alarm to stop. You swung towards the exit and entered your access code. The door opened to the alley where you left and started your way towards the shopping district.

Fully hidden by your clothing, you quickly checked how much money you had in your coin pouch before deciding a little pick-pocketing wouldn't hurt anyone. At least not anyone important. You could add any IDs to your collection. As you arose from the alley, it took no effort to assimilate to the crowd. You hit you favorite grocery store, the one with the cheapest produce in town, then sat for coffee at a cafe. You didn't pay, but the owner owed you for protection anyway. You had a card and everything.

You liked to watch the people that bustled about even so early in the morning. Of course you were one of them but that was just because you liked to eat before returning home. Your eyes surveyed the waves of people before finding an irregularity. Three people, one ahead and two following about six feet behind the first. The first wore a hood the color of daisies, horrible for a getaway with all the flashy yellow. Though most of their form was hidden, you guess by the small stature and thin legs it was a girl. Her followers were only slightly smaller than the average brute. They sported the same junior high uniform that Midoriya had used to sport before UA. The girl seemed frightened as she tried to gain distance. However she was going against the flow of foot traffic and her fluorescent colored jacket would allow her to slip away undetected. Hell, you'd seen here from a cafe across the rode.

Before you even noticed, you began to follow them. Your eyes remained glued the three while your feet steered you mindlessly. You still dripped a piping hot coffee in your hand, not yours you noted. Maybe your theft was going a tad too far.

Then another irregularity. The girl took off down an alley. You cringed, having taken the alley one too many times and knowing it was a deadend. You crossed the street, paying no mind to the cars forced to swerve to avoid you. The boys followed and your brow furrowed.

It was a classic scene. Bullies chasing weak for bullshit reasons that really just covered up the bullies own personal issues in life. They didn't hear your light footsteps but you could hear as clear as crystal as they cornered the girl.

"Did you really think you'd get away Normie?!" One boy bit. He had shit brown eyes and greased back silver hair. His companion, small and slender, had the same eyes but had black hair tied behind him instead. "You're stupid if you think you can escape the Yin and Yang brothers." The second sneered.

You tried not to burst out laughing at the cliche named and listened intently. The girl, face hidden in her hood, didn't speak.

You tilted your head and remained hidden as the boys continued to approach. They smirked evilly as blades trickled from their sleeves. Long, beautiful katanas. You would have been impressed, should they have actually known how to weild the weapons. They slung them around like lazy anime characters and tried to look intimidating. You audibly cringed.

"G-Go away." The voice trembled faintly.

"What?! How dare you speak to us with that filthy quirkless tongue of yours!" Yang shouted. He tried to hold the katana up but barely got to his shoulder level before charging.

You sighed, revealing your position and twisting through the air. You landed on the ball of your feet between the two parties and knocked away the child's unsteady blade. "Okay cliche click. Move along." You instructed firmly.

"What did this guy just say? Heh, it almost seemed like he told us what to do!" Yin laughed boisterously. "Listen here guy! I don't care how old you are! These are our streets! We're just trying to clean out the vermon."

You glanced between the two groups and couldn't hold back the loud laughter that shook you. Your eyes scanned their pristine uniforms and you wiped a stray tear. "Oh, god. Sorry, that's just so funny! Cus you see, last time I checked, these streets were my turf."

Your grin was chilling and devious. There was a glimmer of violet in your gaze as the boys seemed to notice your power. You merely swept their legs from beneath them and they screamed. Scuttling away, they were gone im second.

You giggled as you turned back to the girl. "T-Thank you. I didn't think I-"

"Shut up kid, I ain't no hero. Empty you pockets. I want your wallet, any food, and your jacket. I've been needing a new one."

"Wait, w-what?! But I... I don't have any money... or food..."

You peered at the girl and growled. Grabbing her by the collar, you easily pulled her up and slammed her against the alley wall. "What the fuck do you mean you don't-"

Her hood fell down and you stopped. She was a he. "Wait, you're a guy? Damn, with skinny legs like that... you really don't have anything huh..."

He nodded and you sighed. Letting him down, you grabbed his wrist and strung him along. "W-Wait! Where are we going?! I-I'll miss school!" He begged.

"I never went. I'm smarter than most buisness men." You said bluntly. "If you don't have anything worth shit I'm gonna steal something else from you."

His face paled as you strung him along. You stopped two alleys before your home and put your hat on his head so he couldn't see. "Hold my bags and don't look. Don't make a sound or you'll get caught and killed."

"Where are you-"

"Shut up!"

He obeyed without another word. You checked the alleys, then led him through the musty hall of brick and garabage. After getting into the secret passage, you wove your way to your room and shoved the kid in. "You can look now." You muttered.

He sat on your bed, small and trembling. You turned off your alarm and grinned at him. "Welp, everyone else is gone for sure so you and I are going to do something."

"What're you going to do to me?" He whispered. You rolled your eyes and growled.

"You sound like a broken record. Just... grab the bags and follow me to the kitchen." He nodded and obeyed once more.

It reminded you of a lost puppy. He was silent as you walked into the pristine kitchen, curtesy of Kurogiri's OCD. "Put this on, or you'll get dirty." You instructed, throwing him a navy blue apron. You yourself stripped away the windbreaker and tied it around your waist.

When you turned back, the boy was wearing the apron and seeming scared. You smirked as you approached him. "You scared?" You teased.

He nodded fearfully and you cackled. "Okay, take the skillet from the cabinet on the far left and put it on the largest burner of the stove. The melt butter in it."

He nodded and went to work as you got the sliced bacon from the groceries and cut the long strips in half. "O-Okay, now what?" He asked.

"Grab a plate, put a paper towel on it, both are stored on the table, then get me a spatula."

He did so instantly you threw the bacon into the skillet. He watched in awe as you worked with the bacon. "Now get me the eggs and start making toast. Yes put butter on it. There is juice in the fridge. Pick apple, orange or whatever else you want."

He bustled about as you cooked. Setting the table and cleaned dishes you threw aside. He was a good little worker. "Now get me two plates." You said finally.

"T-Two?" He stuttered.

"Did I fucking stutter? Move!"

He squeaked before going back to work. On the two dishes you served breakfast then brought the food to the table. It was a small, folding table but it worked. "Sit." You instructed.

The kid did as you told and sat quietly as you began to eat. You paused as he just stared at the plate with a blank expression. You snickered and waved your hand in front of his face. He jumped before looking at you with confusion.

"Go on. Eat." You ordered.

He nodded and picked up the fork he set. He tasted the food shakily at first, the  after the first taste, shoveling it down his throat. You laughed before eating your own food. He finished quickly, still looking famished. You had finished your own plate but you just watched him now. As his eyes mrt yours, he flushed in color and muttered an apology. "I'm so sorry. I'm being so rude I-"

"What's your name?" You interupted.

"H-huh?"

"Name, now." You bit.

"Y-Yuki!" He spat.

You nodded. "Well Yuki, I'm done but there's a lot of food left so if you wanna bring it home to anyone, say a family member or something, feel free."

His eyes widened with tears and you snickered. "B-But why? I-I thought you were evil! A-After what happened in t-the alley with my b-bullies..."

You rolled your eyes. "I'm a villain, I'm not evil." You sighed. "The modern concept of 'evil' is just whatever is not heroic. So called 'heroes' like All Might are the reaon me and a lot of others are considered villains."

Yuki was quiet and you forced a laugh. "Anyway, you can take the food home if you want. I won't eat it."

You stood and began to leave when Yuki stopped you. "W-Wait! I think... if villains are like you.... I don't want to be a good guy."

Your heart skipped a beat and you laughed before crouching next to the boy. "Sweetie, I'm one kind of villain. I'm what I like to call, misunderstood. Like many villains. Just don't go all crazy mad scientist villain on me."

"I can't do anything... I don't have a quirk."

"You can get good at Chemistry and help me with weapons some day. Or get good at math and rule the banks. Your talents are just a little... harder... to find."

Yuki's eyes sparkled and you sighed. "Just, hurry up kid. I gotta get you outta here before my father realizes I brought a civilian home again."

He nodded excitedly and handed you his apron. You helped him pack his food then led him away from the hideout with the apron over his eyes. Once you hit the street again, you spun him around then faced him to you as you untied the apron. He smiled at you and you tried hard not to smile back. "I'll get really good at making weapons! Then I'll come help you!" He promised.

"I look forward to it." You teased.

He nodded excitedly and hugged you tightly, then disappeared into the crowd. He was strawny, but you felt he still had a shot at the world. Especially with the little spare cash you slipped in his pocket. You leaned against the brick alley wall and sighed. You closed your eyes for a second and thought before you felt a strong hand clamp down on your shoulder. You grit your teeth through a wince and turned around.

At the mop of green hair, you face drained of color and you muttered an 'Ah Fuck' under your breath. Midoriya grinned at you cockily as you hid your face. "What do you want All Might Jr.?" You bit.

"Who knew you had such a silver tongue?" He jabbed, nose inches from yours.

You could feel your face redden as you turned back to the crowds. "I'm sure you'd just love to study my tongue greenie." You shot weakly. "How did you know I was here?"

"I followed you after you left your alarm going off this morning. Everyone was pissed by the way." Midoriya informed you.

"That's why I did it." You smirked. "Are you going to tell anyone or do I have to shut you up myself?" You asked.

Midoriya shrugged and you growled. "That depends on you I guess." He purred. "Shouldn't your father know you let poor suffering children in and out of the hideout at the pat of a poor sunken eye?"

"You used poor twice. It seems forced," you muttered.

If I kiss him, I can make him do anything I want for the first instant. If I could just-

"Your secret is safe with me. But... I'm gonna need a favor, at some point. I'm not sure what, but when I need you, will you comply?"

His gaze was chilling but you nodded. Shaking his hand, you quickly feigned disgust and wiped your palm. "Do yourself a favor and go take a shower."

P.o.V. All Might
I trudged around the streets in my mundane form with eyes peeled. This part of town was were the most activity had been reported. Of course many heroes had been assigned the task but only a select few truly understood the importance of finding him.

As I walked down the sidewalk, a thin young boy holding several tuberware rushed down the street. He seemed too excited for the early hour, especially for a boy supposed to be at school. I watched the direction he went and noticed it was the opposite of the school. Tracing back his steps, I noticed the vague trace of someone leaning within an alley. Though only a shoulder peaked around the corner, I could see vaguely familiar (H/C) locks from the frame. Seconds later, a glimpse of unmistakable, messy green hair. My eyes widened and I tried to rush toward them. However, by the time I got to them they were gone. The alley was a deadend.
