Chapter 10

OKAY GUYS!!! HOLY FUCK!
THIS STORY IS #10 IN THE VILLAIN TAG!

NUMBER FUCKING 10!!!

HOW?!?!?!?

Thank you all so much for this! And thank you Wattpad for making it easier to see those stats! I would've never found inspiration to write again if it wasn't for you readers giving me the love and support to put me there! I'm so fucking elated right now!

(How do y'all feel about a Point of View switch?)

(Y/N)'s body appeared between All Might and Izuku without a second to spare. Her speed was so inhumanely quick, it was almost as if this were the first time she'd ever truly been motivated.

Desperate cries rang out in unison, but no one could stop what happened. Izuku's fist cracked through the air, the pure air pressure enough to knock any trained hero off their feet. Then it hit her. (Y/N)'s body almost instantly fell limp, even before contact, and the cold purple hue that drowned Izuku's eyes disappeared. Like a rag doll, her body sailed through over the battle, a momentary still from both ends as they watched.

A pained, crackling voice screamed out, Tomura panicking in the instant he saw his only daughter so... lifeless. The world seemed deafs as a number of heroes jumped to catch her in flight, the others taking the opportunity to apprehend as many villains as they could. Kurogiri quickly took Tomura and wisked him away, leaving the Nomu behind to fend off a losing battle.

The students she'd met, though some bitter and some kind, rushed to try to peered at the fallen girl. And then there stood Izuku.

Silent in the midst of the field and fallen in the very spot from where he struck her. His eyes, blinded by tears as he choked on his own wailing. "S-She was good." He stuttered. "What've I done?"

All Might placed his hand on his protege's shoulder, shaking his head. "You did nothing wrong, Young Midoriya. It's just, that she did what she thought was right..."

You didn't register the pain before black painted you blind, only a vague image to clue you as to what happened. Two, tearing, green eyes.

You limb felt limp as cold air rushed over, the echoes of gasp and screaming like lashes to your damaged ears. But in your mind it was quiet. You smiled.

[Some Time later]
You sat alone in the quiet, blqck room... again. Your eyes felt stale and dry as they remained permanently glued to a hopelessly boring ceiling. Your motion was limited and robotic with pain. No one visited you in the room, but you feared that someone would. You feared it would be someone you should remember.

You hadn't heard anyone's voice since you sat there, nor had you seen anyone. You blinked, almost hearing the faint crinkle of dry skin rubbing against one another. All you remembered were those crying green eyes, and a knotting, twisting guilt that came with.

You opened your mouth to speak, but no sound could come from your parched lips. You closed your mouth and your eyes, face screwing up as pain welled in your chest.

'Is this punishment? What did I do?'

You thought. Tears welled in your eyes, the new wetness stinging, before finally overflowing and drizzling down your cheek. The same green eyes greeted you, and you fought back your lonely sobbing.

'What did I do to you? Why are you crying?'

You lips broke open, faint taste of iron falling back to your throat. "I'm sorry..." you rasped.

Suddenly you screamed, burning pain ripping through your chest and the annoying ring of a machine screaming as though in your eardrum. From silence you became overwhelmed, sounds and flashing white light receeding into eerie fluorescent yellow streaks. You left your tears streaming dramatically, the salty liquid soaking your hair and face as it fell back.

You realized you were laying down.

'Please, help me! It hurts. It hurts so bad! Please! Anyone... help me...'

Voices clouded your thought, a painful contrast from the prior silence. It was a mix of horrible sobbing and bitter thoughts. Critiques that seemed too familiar and too personal. You felt hopeless and sad as you tried to sort your sporatic thoughts.

'You need to be stronger!'

'You are no showboat! No daughter of mine will be a hero!'

'Your mother understood that!'

'Your ability will be key.'

'Don't fuck this up for us, (Y/N).'

All the same cruel voice, but you ached to please his request. "I'm sorry.." you croaked.

You opened your eyes and blurred faces streaked past you, each and every one distorted in a nearly demonic way. They're voiced meshed together in an ugly amalgamation of sound. You tried to speak, but it was like you were just watching a movie, unable to interact with the scene. Darkness crept into your vision again, pain and sound swallowing you whole as you sank deeper into a mind void of memory.

All you could see, was white. It was so quiet, except from the rythmical beat of a heart monitor. It felt comforting against the silence. You swiveled your gaze to each side, the light ruffle of fabric reassuring you that you sat in reality. You took a deep breath, parched lips craving even a drop of water.

Your mind felt empty of thought, but the itching feeling of dismissal clawed at you. It was as though your very mind had been wiped away, memories forgotten leaving only the most raw of instinct you had left, except for one thing. "Green..." You whispered. "I remember... green?"

You tried to sit up, finding your body pinned to the bed with belts stretching over your body. A loose handcuff linked your foot to the bedframe, preventing escape. "Am I... a prisoner? Did I do something... wrong?" You asked, your audience nonexistent.

"Why am I tied up? What did I do wrong?!" You asked. "Where am I?! Please I'm scared! Where am I?! Someone please help me!" You screamed.

Thrashing about, the bed rattled loudly as your stretching lips itched to break with your loud cries. The heart monitor mirrored your panic, picking up with every second that passed.

The door of your room flew open, a collection of people flowing in. Among them you spotted several nurses and doctor's, each regarding you with a sense of hesitance. And alongside them, armored men and heroes, each with quirk of weapon pointed at you. Your heart monitor continued to rise as you shrank into the stiff bed. "What's happening?" You choked out. "Where am I?"

"Ma'am, please calm down. If you can't settle down we'll have no choice but to subdue you."

"Subdue me?! I'm already tied to a bed! What did I do?! Why am I tied up like this?! And someone please tell me where I am?" You begged. "Please..."

You sank into the bed, your heart monitor off the charts as you tried to soothe your racing thoughts. One of the doctors, an older man with greying hair but surprisingly bright eyes approached you. His eyes seemed to twinkle and shift as he looked over you, his expression giving nothing away.

"Your injuries seem to have healed, but it seemed your mind isn't as well off."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" You snapped violently.

The doctor jumped just slightly, the gunman around you tensing as well. You relaxed back into the bed and lowered your voice before speaking again. "What do you mean by that?" You asked, this time adopting a gentle tone.

The doctor hummed to himself. "How much do you remember from before you woke up here?" He inquired.

You thought back a second, but you could only dig up those biting comments from a faceless man and those eyes. "I don't remember... much that is. I remember conversations, but I don't remember any faces. Except for a pair of eyes I keep seeing. I don't know whose they are though."

He frowned, taking a pen from his chest pocket and scribbling notes on a paper. "The rest of you wait outside,  I'd like to talk to my patient alone."

The officers hesitated, but only briefly. Filing out of the room, the room was empty once more. The doctor looked at you as he sat on a stool, tapping the clipboard with his pen as he thought. "Can you tell me what your name is?"

You paused, having to wait a moment before a name popped into mind. "I'm (Y/N) Shi- shi.... something." You swallowed hard, tears in your eyes with new found panic. "Why can't I remember my name?"

"And do you know what a quirk is?" He asked.

"Well yeah. It's a superpower. Almost everyone in the world has one."

"So then, what is your quirk?" He followed.

Your knit your brow together as you tried to summon up some memory of it, but you couldn't remember. However though, a poisonous hue of purple flashed in your mind. "I know... I know I'm not quirkless. Was it poison or something? Or acid? It was something purple! I... I don't remember."

He seemed upset as he shook his head. "Oh dear this seems worse than I thought."

"What seems worse?! Please tell me what's wrong with me!" You begged.

"It isn't my place to tell you. I should wait until your guardian arrives to tell you." He said.

"Wait! I don't even know who my guardian is! I don't remember anything about my life! It's like my mind-" you stopped suddenly, choking on your realization. "It's like my entire life has been erased..."

You sat back defeatedly in your bed and fell silent. The doctor seemed as sad as you were as he approached you gently. "Well, at least it's safe to say you won't need these." He confessed, gesturing to the bonds that tied you down. "Do you want anything to eat? Drink maybe?"

You shook your head numbly, remaining limp as he undid your restraints. He continued to talk to you, but the words seemed to filter through silencers as none of them reached your comprehension.

He left the room and you felt your eyes grow heavy with sleep. 'How can I sleep?! I just woke up! Right? I don't know how long it's been, or how it happened. Or for that matter, what I did to deserve it...'

Your mind drifted into mindless noise as you fell asleep to your heart monitor once more. You stood in the inky black noise and opened your eyes. You choked on a gasp as you gazed at two, brimming green eyes infront of you. They were embedded into a figure that stood before you, but the only thing that was clear was the eyes.

You composed yourself before stepping forward toward the shape. "Hello..." You said quietly. "You must be the person with the eyes... the one I can't quite remember."

The figure remained silent as you approached. As you stood still once more, it started to swirl around you, stepping articulatly as it studied you. Those green eyes seemed gentle, raw concern and love vivid in emotion, but its body language was preditorial. It stopped in front of you, sucking away your breath as it ebbed closer. Its face hovered in front of yours, those green eyes filling with tears as it came closer and closer. Finally its 'lips' or at least its equivalent, brushed yours and you watched a violent purple color drown away the soft green of its eyes. Its eyes became violent and cruel, his figure bowing before you like you were its queen.

"Did I do this to you? Did I... corrupt you? No! I don't want this! I don't want to hurt anyone! Give him back!" You screamed.

You threw your arms against the creature, only to have him capture them easily. Pushing you against his chest, you did your best to push away. "I-I didn't mean to hurt you! Give him back! I don't want to see you! Give him back... please. Give Izuku back." You sobbed.

Chills ripped up your spine as the name left your lips. It was like instinct that you summoned his name, but it tamed the creature before you. You opened your tear-stained eyes and tried to look at the creature, but you couldn't find him, nor the black expanse you found him in.

You opened your eyes and saw only a well-worn blue hoodie, dampened by what you assumed were your tears. An anxious voice cooed into your ear as he held your wrist. He wrapped himself around you firmly, though gentle in a familiar way. "It's okay (Y/N). It's all over. You're okay." He hummed.

You whimpered softly, burying your face in your arms to try to clear your face. His grip loosened on your arms and you looked up at him. Your eyes fixed on his kind, toothy grin before trailing over him. He wore workout clothes, but it seemed like he hadn't gone out quite yet. His hands and arms were riddled with painful looking scars, but he didn't seem to mind them. Some of them still looked new.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" He asked.

Your eyes darted up to meet his and you sucked in a sharp breath. "Green." You whispered.

"What?" He asked.

Tears welled in your eyes as you knotted your hands in his clothing. "Oh god, I'm so sorry Izuku. You're the one I hurt aren't you?" You whispered. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! It wasn't my place, but I hurt you. I took control of you for something I can't even remember. I'm so sorry Izuku."

You bit your lip as you tried to hold back any more tears. "I'm so sorry."
