No matter how hard Tinn tried to start a conversation, Charn was so shocked by the recent turn of events, that he didn't pronounce one more word for the rest of the evening and the night. The following morning, Charn got ready to leave the house, Tinn stood in front of the door and asked him where he was going.

"I'm going to the hospital" Charn responded, his eyes looked empty. Tinn tried to ask him the reason of this decision but he didn't get anything, however the lawyer didn't oppose Tinn's idea to join him for the visit. They got into the car and several minutes later they reached the hospital.

"Thee, I knew I would have found you here. How is Thanthai?" Charn asked with a subtle smirk as he noticed the former bodyguard stand near a closed door in a long corridor. Thee slowly walked to him, Charn knew that the news of him being Kimhan's lawyer wasn't widespread, but suspects and rumors were already in the air, and it was also seen as a fact that the defamatory campaign against Thatthep and his son was linked to Kimhan's actions.

"He's fine now, the doctors said to let him rest. Why are you here?"

"I'm here to offer my help. To you and to your boyfriend in that room... yes, there is no reason to act shocked, I know the two of you are dating, so let's skip this part, shall we?" Charn replied.

"Help us? How? I recognize a defamatory campaign when I see one, you were a master at this, I just didn't think you could end up doing such things against a frail boy like Thanthai..."

"Oh for God's sake, don't act like you've never done anything wrong in your entire career. To be fair, I'm not here to talk to Thanthai, there isn't much he could say and I fear that my presence alone would be an element of great stress for him. Tell me, are there any records of Thatthep's circle? There must be some deep reason to make the Theerapanyakul and that party fight like this" Charn explained.

"So, it is true what they say, you work for Kimhan. Well, I shouldn't help you since I would love to see that bastard of your client rot in jail... but you see, right after his arrest, Thatthep ordered to get rid of all the documents, so there isn't anything you could find useful" Thee answered with a smirk.

"Really? That's a pity... but you know that I always manage to find a way. Thank you very much for your cooperation, Thee. I'll come visit your boyfriend soon and I'll make sure to bring a proper gift too" Charn responded and went back to the car, where Tinn was waiting for him.

"So, how did it go?"

"The boy is sleeping, I told them I would bring a gift when he will get better. We can go back home" Charn responded and kissed Tinn on his forehead.

Arm slowly entered Kim's office. He looked around, Kim was standing near the window, while Kinn and Porsche were sitting in the two armchair in front of the desk of the young chief of the family. Kim didn't even turn, but he obviously noticed that the favorite bodyguard of the family was inside the office, so he made a gesture with his hand, signaling that he could speak.

"Khun Kim, we have noticed a... strange behavior recently. It looks like Khun Charn is investigating much more than necessary. He went to the hospital today to meet Thatthep's son, we know that he didn't manage to talk to him directly,, however he talked to his former bodyguard, who surely is aware of crucial information"

"I told you. I already knew that something was off when we saw him at the restaurant talking to the maître. We have to take action immediately" Porsche said impulsively. Kinn placed his hand on Porsche's leg to calm him down, then Kinn added:

"I must agree with Porsche. Porchay's mental health could deteriorate even further, we must close this now"
