"Are you still mad at me just because I mentioned that dude? You can't blame me, Charn, there are some really nasty things going on" Nawin remarked while driving, since Charn didn't say anything for a few minutes after he reacted like that at the name of his client.

"Nasty things?" Charn asked confused. He suspected that his ex-boyfriend could have some information that only a person constantly working in the same world of Kim could know. Nawin smirked after that question, loving the feeling of being actually useful to his beloved Charn.

"Yes, but I understand that you didn't notice that, it wasn't a message meant for the great public after all" Nawin replied.

"Would you please stop talking in riddles and actually explaining me what is going on? I can understand my husband being worried about me working for Kim, but if you're preoccupied too, then you must know much more than just that, so spill" Charn said irritated.

"Fine, fine... a lot of people died or disappeared in the last few weeks, all in different ways, no one who doesn't know what to look for would notice what links all the victims, but I can!" Nawin said pointing at his head, proud of how smart he was, then he continued "all of them are Japanese immigrants or work for Japanese companies, and do you have an idea of what... ummm... society could be the challenging Kim's power?"

"It is very possible! Just look through tv news or newspapers, you will find some little articles about someone getting involved in a car accident or disappearing during a fishing trip, that's very common in this... world... nobody notice it, except for those who have to receive the message" Nawin added.

The young lawyer nodded, but he immediately noticed something out of the window that could be very interesting.

"Hey Nawin, why don't we stop here after going shopping? This restaurant seems very nice"

Nawin obviously didn't understand what that restaurant could have to be so special to Charn's eyes, but he accepted just to make him happy. He couldn't know that Charn had recognized the place, since the journalist showed the restaurant during the interview with Kim, and that could be a nice opportunity to look for more details.
