3rd Person Pov:
Ira was given full credit and praise for helping out on saving both the world and Gadget. Even though, he was put in jail for a few months for what he did in the past, he accepted it without argument. The Resistance along with Ira (after those months) was able to fix everything up within two years. During those two years both Gadget and Ira were asked multiple times, how it felt like to be under the Phantom Ruby's control. After those two long years, everything was completely normal. Eggman occasionally attacked the city but, was ultimately folded by the Team Sonic's newest members. Which were Ira and Gadget! Ira agreed to join the team because he wanted to make up for being Infinite.

Gadget as well joined because he felt like he should continue helping the world he lived on and he did feel extremely bad for being Perfect Infinity. They both continued to date even after the whole war era. In fact, they believed that the war actually brought them closer together. Sonic however was a bit hesitant still about their relationship even though, Ira proved to be good. He was scared that Ira may go back to being evil and target Gadget as his first victim. Gears was scared that his brother would realize he liked being evil and turn again. The younger brother never trusted his brother on his own after the whole ordeal of wandering on his own.

Gadget had to convince his younger brother that he would like the feeling of being evil and he would never again go into a cracked building like that. Ira and Sonic had to talk about it for a couple of weeks until Sonic agreed that they continue dating as he could that the Jackal was a better person. The couple ended up living together in their own home were Ira ended up popping the question to Gadget. The red Wolf was over the moon when he was asked the question and excitedly with tears said yes. They got married and three years later adopted hybrids which were between a wolf and jackal. Now, everything was perfect. Everything was exactly like everyone wanted to be. Everything was finally working for Ira and Gadget. They took care of their daughter, Ruby, and son, Jack.

They've never been more happier...

"And that's how we met." The Jackal said as he tucked in his twin children. "Wow! That's incredible!" Their son exclaimed as he looked over to the Red Wolf.  "Mom, you sure we're tuff with dad. I can't believe you did all that." Their daughter said as the Red Wolf kissed their foreheads. "Me neither Ruby. I still can't believe it." Gadget said, sighing as he remembered all the adventures and memories of the past that he still had. "How are you two still together though? After everything that happened between you?" Their son asked as his parents almost exited their room. "Hm, I don't really know, Jack. Maybe, we just had something that connected us." Ira replied and turned off the lights.

"We may have told lies and hurt each other but, we always tend to fix them." Gadget added as he leaned against the door frame. "Mom, you were corrupted." Jack said as his sister gave him a playful punch. "Yeah but, I still loved him more than anything. I still would've saved him because I love him too much to let go of him." Ira explained as he hugged Gadget who just giggled. "You always did give the best hugs.' Gadget whispered and they both let go of the hug.

"Good Night." The parents said in unison. "Night night, mom and dad." The children said and went to sleep.

Who knew a couple like this could come together from such a simple lie?
