The plan was simple

Nick and Ashlie will flank and take care of Dres, Dmitri has finished his weapons and provided 40 arrows tipped with red steel, that's the name the frog now calls it. Everyone is given 10, Ashlie, Tommy, Dawn and Nick have these arrows being the best shot in the group.

Cory and Uni are going to find Duni while Dawn and Jon look for Don, Tommy wanted to tag along and help Nick. The frogs and felines agreed to stay behind, though Catherine and Wiliker need alot more convincing since he belivies they have Rachael. Uni promised to keep an eye out for her.

(Gonna be honest I forgot about her, whoopies)

Simple and easy, right?

"What do these foolish mortals hope to accomplish by killing my creations"

"I-I"

"I think a night need more help them you three, wouldn't you like to see your precious Ddawn again Duni, I know you wish to see Dashlie again Dres"

Both demons stayed silent, Dres opened his mouth to speak but a pain growl only came out as the black chains around his wings and neck tightened. Duni looked down at the ground as Dres snarled, the beast chuckled at the vampires hatred.

"My way disobedient children you all became, after all I am who made you. You all love and breath because of me, all of you will do as I say or else"

The group waited for night to fall, most of them now Hardlandings lay out by now yet it was still hard to see in the dark. Dawn provided to potions of nightvision for those we can't see in the dark like the others. Uni had a decent idea where Duni might be but Dres and Don are tricky.

When they got to the abandoned village they all split up. Dawn's group went to check on Ddawn's lab, Nick went to check the town while Uni went to check the main building itself.

'No sign of them yet' Uni thought as he and Cory silently sneaked through the forest. Cory had his now drawn and loaded ready for anything that would be thrown at them. Uni poked his head out of the tree line, no one in sight and he can't scent anyone either. Coast seems clear enough.

Uni beckons Cory over as the two make a mad dash for the large mansion. Uni grab the door and was shocked when he found it unlocked, he opened the door a chill went through his spin as he looked around. He could barely see and as he stepped in the air felt heavy, almost hard to breath even.

"So you actually decided to come"

Cory quickly drawer his bow as he saw Duni, the dark pug looked at Uni. "So you brought a friend, two on one isn't a fair fight" he said making Uni growl but something felt off. Uni could feel that something was wrong with the demon, no this isn't the Duni he once faced something was off about him this time.

"I.....I-I'm sorry" Duni said as he snapped his fingers and flames bursted up the angels feet.

Uni covered his face as he his own blue fire surrounded him, protecting him for the flames. Cory wasn't so lucky as he feel back hitting the wall, the pain in his body unbearable.  He felt like passing out but he stayed strong.

Uni growled at Duni once the flames died down, the dark pug summoned more flames. Dark red fire now surrounding him, Uni narrowed his eyes and took a deep breath,  blue fire now appearing behind him. Cory looked over at his bow with was on the other side of the room now, he took a deep breath. He needs to make a break for it.

"Come at me" Duni said simply as he unsheathed his sword that was strapped on his belt. Uni clapped his paws together as three balls of fire manifested in front of him, "to the death".

The battle happened unexpectedly, Dres had seen them coming and dive bombed them. Nick couldn't fly, his form was still recovering but luckily Tommy could. But even he couldn't handle the strength of a vampire, he never could.

Tommy forcefully clapped his wings together creating a strong gust of wind to smack into the others face. Dres blocked the attack but he felt himself lose balance, his shoulder was still recovering from the last battle he had with Cory.

The vampire dodged another arrow from the two below him, this was getting ridiculous he can't keep this up for much long. But the voice in his head kept telling him to fight, that help will come he just needs to distract them more. But Duni and Don, it's like he can't even control his own body any more. It was hard to even think.

He wants to flee just find the others and flee, he doesn't want to fight any more he just wants to keep his family safe but this darkness won't allow him to leave.

"You know how to fight well" Duni said a he Uni were at a stale mate, Duni looked at the pug as both if their swords clashed with each other. They have both become too tired to use their magic any more, but Duni he didn't seem to be trying and all these chances Uni had to kill him. He couldn't take them, he hates the demon and wants to kill no but he can't bring himself to kill the other.

Duni backed up, he was done he didnt want this. He dropped his sword confusing the light pug who stopped his attacks, Duni chuckled lightly tears now running down his face. "I always loved you Uni but I can't do this anymore, I want to escape him but I can't", "what who, what are you talking about" Uni yelled.

Duni didn't say anything but walked up to him, he took Uni's hands in his own. "Your sword fighting needs work" Duni said taking Uni's sword in his own till they both held the steel sword, Cory watched confused. Duni gave a smile before kissing Uni making his eyes widen but his eyes soon filled with sadness. "Thank you for this" Duni said as he pulled away before taking the sword and stabbing himself in the chest making both angels gasp in surpise.

Uni dropped his sword and dropped to go knees to help the dark pug who held the bleeding gash in his chest.

"Please....don't, leave me here and run please" Duni begged quietly, Uni stood up and watched as the demon curled up in a ball crying silently.

"We didn't want this, I just peace and quiet. I want D-dashlie, I want Ddawn, I just want my family" Duni cried holding his head in his paws. Uni felt symphony for the demon as he cried like a child wanting his mother.

Uni's ears pricked up as he heard something behind him, he slowly turned around to see the pale figure of a white deer with red markings. The buck looked at the pug before running out the door, that animal look fimilier like he saw it before. Before Uni knew he was running after the animal, Cory cursed at himself and grabbed his bow. He looked at the dark pug who now was silently crying in both pain in sorrow, Cory sighed deeply and ran after Uni.

Duni didn't bother to lift his head to see if they were both gone, his hearted hurted to much. He just wants to die, why must the gods curse him and give him a long and painful death. The dark pug didn't even bother to look up as he heard a pair of flagging wings.

"Duni!!"  Dres yelled as he ran in, he forced himself here. It took all of his will power to break the control over to body and rush over here. "O g-god" Dres stuttered as he kneeled next to the dark pug who looked up at him teary eyed, Dres held back a pained sob as he picked up the demon. "I-I'm sorry" Duni choked out as the vampire took Duni's pass into his hands, "no its okay,  I'm not mad".

Duni sniffles loudly, "I-i just want him gone, I want this to be over", "I want this to be over too" Dres said softly. Duni buried his face into the vampire's chest, "I-I just want everyone here".

Dres shushed him, "it's okay, its okay just go to sleep. I promise you'll feel better, w-we'll all be there". Duni looked up at him, "p-promise", Dres wiped some of his tears away. "I promise, just sleep" he said softly as Duni nodded as he moved to get himself comfortable, wincing a bit in pain. "I love you" Duni said softly, "I love you too brother" Dres replied softly petting his head wrapping his wings around them.

Dres waited for the pug to close his eyes and waited longer for him to stop breath fully. The vampire felt tears run down his face as he cried and sobbed loudly, he failed. He said he'll protect his family and he failed, what kind of elder brother is he.

"I-I'm sorry.....I-I failed you all"

"Your jobs not done yet"

"NO, go away leave us alone!!" Dres yelled, "we don't want this!!!"

"Like you all have a choice"

'Why am I following this spirit' Uni asked himself as he chased after the buck, something was drawing him to this creature, does it have to do with his home, his original family.

The buck stopped near a large rock outcrop, Uni panted lightly as he stared at the spirit. The buck stared back, Uni walked slowly towards the animal reaching out to touch its muzzle.

"Uni don't!!" Cory yelled making the pug jump as Cory fired an arrow making the animal give a scream of pain as the arrow pierced its chest. Uni backed up as black goo dropped out of the wound as the spirit's eyes turned a deep purple. Uni couldn't move, it's like he was frozen in place.

A pair of black wings bursted out of the beasts back and the illusion was now broken. The deer had now transformed into a pitch black dragon with no notable features but dark purple eyes.

The dragons looked at the angel was stated back in fear, Uni could hear cries of terror in his head. He was terrified, the dragon looked at Cory who fired another arrow but when it hit its target it slowly sunk into the goo that surronded the creature.

"Now that we have probably met, why don't we probably introduce ourself son of Alex"

"Who are you, why are you doing this" Cory yelled making the dragon chuckle.

"Why young angel, I am simply doing what I was created to do. I am Corruption"
