"Miss I dont understand." John said in my face. This time awake.
"John look." I took his pencil and scribbled down the acronym for this concept he was trying to study, "P.E.M.D.A.S, what does that mean again?"
"Those two bendy lines." He said with his fingers. I nodded.
"Those are parentheses."
"Then that's....er I dont know." I let out a slow sigh and told him it meant exponent.
"Got it, then its multiplication, division,addition, subtraction." He stated with confidence, I gave him a high five for his good job.
"Did you beat the guys who think they were smarter then you?" John was scribbling answers on his homework.
"Well, I did win but they were also smart. I just answered the questions quicker."
He looked up at me with a glint in his eye. "I think your the smartest Miss.Levy." I blushed out of his sweetness and ruffled his hair.
"Thankyou bud. I appreciate it, do you understand how to do your homework?" I gestured to his folder that held his notes. John smiled at me,
"I think so." Just then jet came though the door, as usual with my check and his lopsided grin.
"Afternoon." I said, he tossed me the envelope.
"I'll see you next week Johnny, make sure to stay on top on your grades, I wanna see that golden report card next time I see you." I gave him a hug.
"I cant wait to see you again." I giggled and went passed jet exiting the dining room.
"You improving?" Jet said.
"Why do you care." I head john mumble.
"Because you moron we cant keep having this girl come over to help your pathetic butt, do you want new cleats or a tutor."
Before I heard anymore I made out of the house and down the street thinking about little john.

"Oh this should be intresting." Wendy said. We were in our usual room circled around with our notes out, I today was extremely exhausted from running around the school looking for all the council members. I held my head low listening to all them exchange conversation.
"Looks like Hargeon town will accompany some new people, 2 actually."
Hargeon town was a place where everyone only cared for the sport, and no one wanted to join such things as Chess club or groups of. mathematics, which is fine, but since no one signed up for the mathematic competition, they had a mandatory list of who would be on the team.
  "Who are they?" Jellal asked, wendy squinted into the phone screen.
  "Named Gajeel Redfox. And Natsu Dragneel."
  "What a dumb name." Snorted Lucy flipping through a magazine.
  "Are their any pictures of them?" I mumbled, a second went by.
  "Nope, they haven't updated the profile. Guess we'll just have to see for ourselves."
  "They shouldn't be a huge change in the game, but we should be aware of what awaits us." I said looking up at my team.
  "Shes right. This is new competition and we should show no remorse if we lose or win to them." Freed said.
   "Should we begin the practice questions? Levy?" Jellal said in a soothing tone.
   "Yes of course, my mistake." I gestured to Lucy who already had the new set of cards out with questions. I had her make the cards. Each hand made by Lucy so if there was a time we had her come in she was able to at least understand the questions at competition.
   "Levy, who invented the first calculating machine in 1645?" I only had to think for a second.
   "Blaise Pascal."
   "Wendy, who stated 'I think therefore I am'?"
   "Descartes."
    "Freed,who built the first telescope."
   "Isaac Newton." He yawbed.
   "Jellal, they are famous for their last theorm." Jellal sat there for a few moments. I dont blame him this one could be anything.
   "...Pierre?" Lucy giggled and nodded to him. I smiled at jellal.
   "I'm glad we are all understanding the new competition rules. I'm so confident in all of you."
   "Yeah I cant wait to show that natsu and that gajeel guy how good we are." Lucy said crossing her legs as she sat on the desk.
   "Now now we cant get too egotisticall." Jellal calmly said.
   "For some reason I feel like I've heard those names before." Wendy said. "I'm sure it's nothing though."
   "Its good that their our next competitor in a couple of days." Lucy said looking away.
   "Right, every get some rest, and study. Please. Lucy, make more cards, even if we dont need them they will be useful to you." Lucy groaned but nodded as she got up and exited the room. As well as wendy and Jellal. I on the other hand was packing up my notes and my textbooks, one slipped my hand and fell on the floor.
   "Here." I saw Freed pick the textbook up and held it out to me, smiling I took it and put it in my bag.
  "Thankyou. I'm so tired things are falling right out my hands."
   "Take your own advice and get some rest. I know it's hard to manage all of this but I have a lot of hope in your capabilities." He was getting together his things when I caught his eye.
   "That means a lot. Um Freed I was actually wondering."
   "Uh huh."
   "Well in a few weeks that annual dinner will creep on all of us."
   "Yes." He had got all of his things together and was heading to the door.
   "Are you- well I was-"
   "Levy! Do you need a ride home?"Lucy's head popped into the door startling me. My lips couldn't make a sound so I nodded my head.
   "I'll see you in class levy. Bye Lucy." Freed passed us both and out the room.
   "I almost asked him Lucy." I sighed rubbing my head.
   "Oh I'm sorry." She frowned. "I have a bad habit of just blurting out."
   "Noo dont feel bad. I guess I'll find another opportunity."
   We walked together out the door silently till Lucy spoke.
   "Seriously though what kind of name is Natsu Dragoneel?"
