BEEP BEEP BEEP
I swiftly swung over to hit my alarm clock and sat up in my bed, hazily looking at the time, 7:30, perfect. Yawning I hopped out my bed and made my way to my bathroom where I washed up, and got dressed in my usual school uniform, as I pulled my headband over my bangs a knock was at my door.
"Come in!" The door opened to reveal my mother smiling at me.
"I'm glad your already up and at it, you excited?" She came in and helped me adjust my headband.
"More then excited, this semester is the FMC!" I smiled looking into my mirror watching my mom rest her hands on my shoulders.
"What's that stand for again?"
"Fiora Mathematical Competitions." My mother laughed.
"Riight, I made organic shakes you need to hurry along if your going to be right on time." She went out the room, I stared at my reflection before getting my backpack and hop down the stairs, like she said there was my Yeti orange cup on the table, taking it I hugged my mom and went on my way to school.
We didn't live far from the school, I did have the option to drive, but I preferred the open air, the nice walks, but today I nearly was in a jog as I pushed myself to Magnolia High school, a very big school I must say, for a tiny girl like me to be in.
I reach the school and head inside to be met with familiar faces, everyone greeting each other after the holiday break, I fixed my eyes on the crowd to spot Lucy, but before I was able to go over the bell rang, of course, I sighed and headed to first period, history.
When I entered my classroom I saw Freed sitting, our eyes met and we both gave a toothy smile to each other, such a great smile he had, I pulled myself into a desk next to his and rested my books down, he quickly analyzed the titles, Trig, calculus, physics.
"I see your already down to business." He said.
"As captain of our team, I have to start making a technique, and structural...hypothesis of how this year's competition will be like." I pushed my glasses to the rim of my nose.
"Knowing you though, you had all of this started months ago."
"You know me too well." We both gave out a laugh, students quickly filed in and everyone took their seats.
"Good morning everyone and welcome back from the holiday vacation."
When the bell rang we all stood up, freed tapped my shoulder.
"Do you have the schedule made, practices n such," I gasped and shuffled through my bag and held out a couple of papers, I nearly forgotten.
"Do me a favor and give these to Wendy, Jellal, I got Lucy's" Freed nodded and took the papers out my hand. He took a look
"Today after school?"
"Yes, I know our first meet isn't until 2 weeks but since I've been put as Captain this season I'm determined to prepare everyone." We started out the door into the hallway.
"We don't expect any less, I gotta hurry along, see ya this evening." Freed gave my arm a squeeze before walking forward into the crowd.
The rest of the day went by fast as to be expected since it was only the first day back, even so my mind was away thinking about my name in newspapers when we win the grand prize, then again it was only a thought and reality hit as I sat at a bench waiting to catch Lucy, and so I did.
"Hey you!" I waved a hand, Lucy looked over and ran to me.
"I was about to call you haha, I haven't seen you all day." Lucy gave me a hug as I stood up from the bench.
"Its good to see you Luce! I actually have something to give to you." I took out her schedule, showing it to her, her face lit up.
"Look at you already in gear," she took the paper and looked back up at me. "I'll be here tonight."
"Good, go get a snack or something, I gotta get ready for tonight anyways." I adjusted my bag.
"See you in like an hour!" Lucy then ran into the parking lot to her car.
I went back into the school, going down the foyer to a narrow hallway that led down to some old unused classrooms, where our team had our equipment set up at, making my way to the classroom I used my I.D card on the scanner to unlock the door, only Captain and Co had them.
"Okay Levy, let's get to work."

Oh this is exciting! Sorry if this chapter is choppy, I came up with this concept and my mind went to work.
