Shebly's pov
I ran through the ice. The hail must be from Jess and Jin freaking out. I hit me straight in the face. I hurt, but I keep moving. I knew where Cory's mortal house was. Pretty far away from mine. I heard a iron bang. I headed towards it. Mortals. They were hurting Cory.
Cory's pov
I ran out and ran as fast as I could to an alley. Why was I so stupid? I got kicked. Gang members. I couldn't breathe. My arm was still throbbing with pain. I was helpless. I could've stayed. Jin might know. He would kill Shebly if he knew she let me run off. And I'm not joking. He would maybe not kill her, but sure would use the move he used on me quite a bit. I couldn't let that happen. Not like I could do anything though. I was dying! At least the hail wasn't in the alley. That was good. Because then I would be dead. Then I heard a voice.
Shebly's pov
"Leave him alone!" I yelled. They turned around. There was about seven of them. So that wasn't good for me. I felt fear. They had weapons. All of them. One had an iron pipe. So that explains the iron bang. The leader came up to me, pinning me against the wall. Our faces were inches apart. I felt my face get red. "Look at this, after I'm done I can take you home with me." He said. He kissed me. On my lips. I don't count that as my first kiss, I didn't kiss back. "Yeah... Especially with those soft lips." He said. I saw a flash of orange out of the corner of my eye.
Cory's pov
I just saw. This DELINQUENT. Kiss SHEBLY. I was furious. I stood up. My tape fell off. I looked at myself. Orange surrounded me. My bad arm. The one with the cuts. I clenched it into a fist. I charged. My eyes gleamed orange. I punched the leader across the face. He went flying. Straight through two buildings. I murdered the rest. I felt everything get dark.
Shebly's pov
Cory fell to the ground. I was scared. I grabbed him. I dragged him to my house. I was in love. With Cory. Oh my stars. I decided to make so hot soup and hot coco for when he wakes up. I sat down. Tonight was going to get crazy.
