Brendon's POV

I look up at the lady in front of us and smile. I felt like I should still be nice to her, even though her sudden loudness kinda scared me.

I feel Tyler grip my hand tighter, and I become confused. I didn't understand what was wrong, we had just bumped into her, and she did kinda shout, but I don't see a really big problem.

I see her look us both up and down, before she turns to Tyler and raises an eyebrow.

"Tyler? I hardly recognized you," she said, and Tyler clears his throat a little bit as he loosens the grip on my hand.

"Yeah, uh.. Hi, Lacey," he replies, and I smile again, giggling softly as I use my other hand to mess with my skirt a tiny bit. I liked her name, it was pretty.

"Y-Your neckl-lace is p-pretty," I say softly, pointing to the jewel that was hung around her neck by a set of tiny chains. The jewel reminded me a bit of mine, but mine was bigger and shinier.

She looks down at her necklace and actually smiles at me whenever she looks back up, her eyes meeting mine.

"Thank you," she replies. "So, Tyler, who is this?" She goes on to ask, and I notice her nod her head in my direction, still smiling a bit. She was nice, but it kinda seemed like she was forcing herself to be, though it was pretty hard for me to tell.

"Uhm, his name is Brendon.." Tyler says, and I wave a little, bouncing a bit in place.

Lacey nods her head, and then she looks me over again. I can't help but shy away a little. Most of the time when people did this, they didn't like what they saw so I just wanted to save myself the embarrassment, or hurt feelings.

"How do you know him?" Lacey asks, and I notice Tyler's eyes widen, yet for some reason he stays quiet. Well if he wasn't gonna answer then I was.

"I'm Da-Dallon's boyf-friend!" I say, and I continue to hold Tyler's hand. I feel him start to drag me a little, and I don't really understand why.

"Yeah, uh, it was nice seeing you, Lacey!" Tyler says in a very rushed way, and he starts to drag me along more. Lacey suddenly steps in front of us, and it blocks us from going any further.

Tyler tenses up, and he grips my hand tighter again. I'm confused as to why he does it again, but I don't really question it.

When I look up to Lacey, she has a look of disbelief on her face.

"This little thing is his boyfriend? So he's moved on that quickly?" She says, and she sounds like she's annoyed almost. I whimper a little, since I didn't want her to lash out and yell at me and Tyler.

"Yeah, uh, like I said, nice seeing you, Lacey," Tyler tries to say, and he starts to pull me away again. I suddenly feel something grab my arm, and I yelp a little as I'm yanked backwards, closer to where Lacey is.

"Lacey, let him go! He hasn't done anything to you!" Tyler tries to say, and she ends up letting go of my arm, yet it still kind of burns because of her tight grip and her nails.

"No! I wanna know more about this little twink that is supposedly Dallon's boyfriend. He really moved on in that short amount of time?" She snaps, and he puts her hands on her hips as she looks at me. "I bet he's just "dating" you cause he was lonely, when he gets over it I'll bet he'll be done with you."

I whimper and I step closer to Tyler. I just wanted to go back to Dallon and have him hold me while Josh and Tyler played the game. I didn't want to talk to her anymore since all she was gonna do was be mean, and talk about me and Dallon.

"Lacey, just let us go. We don't wanna talk to you, mess with, or even bother you, so will you please just let us go?" Tyler tries to tell her, but she starts to go off on some little rant about Dallon.

I whimper, and I look back over to where our alley was, and I stand on my tip toes to see if I could maybe try to get Josh, or even Dallon's attention, just someone to help get me and Tyler out of this situation. I didn't understand, why couldn't she just drop it and let us go?

"Yo, what's taking Ty and Bren so long?" Josh asked, looking over his shoulder.

"How long have they been gone?" I asked, pulling out my phone to answer my own question. "Woah, almost ten minutes! We'd better find them right now."

Josh was already on his feet, standing on the chairs to spot them. "I think I see them, but I'm not sure..."

"Is there a small dark haired man with a pink skirt?" I asked. "And a brown haired tattooed man next to him?"

"Y-yeah, but they're with a g- HOLY COW!" Josh exclaimed, jumping off the chair, grabbing my hand and took off running.

"JOSHUA WILLIAM DUN!" I shouted, trying to keep up with him. "Slow down!"

Josh stopped running, and I quickly stood up straight, seeing Brendon first. "There you are, baby! What was taking y-"

"Dallon." A much too familiar voice said. I closed my eyes, turning around.

"Lacey...hi..." I said slowly, facing my ex girlfriend. "What're you-"

"You moved on that quick, huh? You started dating whatever that is." She exclaimed, pointing to Brendon. "You're disgusting."

I grabbed Brendon's arm, and pulled him close to me. He whimpered, hiding his head in my chest. "My boyfriend isn't a 'that', he's amazing and I love him."

Lacey rolled her eyes. "So you decided to date some crossdressing hoe?"

"Shut up!" Josh exclaimed. "You can wear some dude's clothes and be fine, so why can't Bren wear girls' clothes?" Tyler was holding onto Josh's arm as tightly as possible, leaving red finger marks.

"Be quiet, Josh." Lacey snarled, turning back to me. "It's been only a few weeks, Dallon! We barely even broke up! You left!"

"You fucked with another guy!" I exclaimed. "Of course I left! I walked in on a moaning mess of sex in MY room! You were fucking a random dude! You expected me to stay?"

Lacey glared at me and Brendon. "So you got him? What is he, the last option you had? You gonna throw him away till some hot person comes by?"

"I chose him! I love him more than I ever loved you, Lacey." I said. "You were always a bitch, and he's wonderful, so we're gonna go."

We all began walking away, until I felt her grab my arm.

"Dall, don't you remember all the good times we had together, the fun dates, those wonderful moments in bed together, c'mon, baby." She said.

Brendon looked around, glaring at her. "G-go away. H-he's my b-boyfriend." I pulled my arm out of Lacey's grip, hurrying my boyfriend and my friends away.

When we got back to our alley, Brendon turned around, burying his head in my chest. I heard him crying, and I instantly wrapped my arms around him, nuzzling my face into his neck, giving him small kisses there.

"Sh-she's so m-mean." Brendon sobbed. "Wh-why'd she t-tell me a-all that st-stuff?" I felt him shaking in my arms, and I sunk onto the floor, holding him even tighter.

"She's just like that, sweetie, I'm so sorry about her, babe." I said. "I love you so, so much, Brendon."

"I-I love you t-too." He whimpered, still holding onto me.

"Hey." Josh said, rubbing Brendon's back a little. "We can go somewhere else if you'd like, we can go home even."

"Yeah, it's up to you." Tyler chimed in, resting his chin on Josh's shoulder.

Brendon looked at me, tears glistening on his face. "D-Dally, I-I'm done w-with people b-being mean to us."

"I know, Bren, I-" I began, but he put his finger on my lips, signaling me to be quiet.

"C-can we g-get pay...payback?"

Josh and Tyler's eyes widened, but they both grinned. "Babe, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" The younger one asked. Josh nodded, all of us getting up.

"K, guys, you just go with this, okay?" Josh said. "Trust us."

"Oh boy." I said, rolling my eyes as I wrapped my arms around Brendon again, this time his back touching my chest. I tilted Brendon's head back a little, pressing my lips onto his. Normally our height difference could be annoying, but right now it was perfect.

A few seconds later Tyler ran up to us. "Dallon, don't kiss or touch Brendon hardly...like, don't act like a couple."

Brendon and I looked at each other then at him. "What?" We both said.

"Just go with it, okay? You can make-out in the bathroom after or something." Tyler said, giving as a look like we didn't really have a choice.

I looked down at Brendon as he made a bubble with his gum. He giggled after it popped, smiling back at me. "Are you okay with that, sweetie?" I asked, letting go of him.

He nodded, wrapping his arms around himself. I put my hand on his shoulder, rubbing it gently. I didn't know what was happening, but I trusted the two crazy maniacs I was friends with.

"What the hell?" Lacey was saying, as Josh dragged her towards us. I heard Brendon whimper, trying to move closer to me. I put my arm around him, getting a glare from Tyler.

"Listen, Lacey, we're gonna have a little bet." Josh said.

She crossed her arms over her chest, looking at me. I looked down at the floor, not wanting to make eye contact with her.

"K, if you can knock most of those pins down, Bren will have to break up with Dal, and you can try again." Josh said.

My jaw dropped, and I heard Brendon let out a small squeak. Lacey gave me an evil smile, putting her hands on her hips. "I like this idea." She said. "But I'm wearing heels."

"That doesn't matter! Girl, you gotta look sexy when you're getting back what's yours." Tyler said, handing my ex a bowling ball. She smiled at him, swaying her hips as she walked.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked Josh, pulling him closer to me, glaring at him. "I'm not losing Bren to a dumb bet."

"Trust me, Dall." Josh said again, going over next to Lacey. "Get a good swing! This is for your man!"

Brendon whimpered, holding onto my arm. "Pl-please don't l-leave me." He begged. I could only shake my head, my eyes transfixed on what this so called 'plan' was.

Lacey was laughing, as she swung her arm back. She brought the ball forwards, and that was the moment when Josh and Tyler pushed her.

She screamed, being flung down the alley, sliding down the slick floor. Josh and Tyler high fived and kissed, coming back to us.

"See, we told you to trust us!" Tyler laughed, as I pulled them into a big hug.

"I love you guys, you're the best." I said, laughing. "That was amazing!"

"DALLON!" Lacey screamed, trying to stand up. "HELP ME YOU DUMBASS!"

"NOPE! YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!" I shouted back. "HEY LACEY! WATCH THIS!" I grabbed Brendon by the waist, he giggled, throwing his arms around my neck. I smiled, pulling him into a passionate kiss just for my ex to see. I took my hand off Brendon's back so I could flip her off.

"Alright, guys, let's go." Josh said, leading us away. We both stopped kissing, still laughing a little. The four of us got outside, looking at each other.

"Now what?" Tyler asked.

"I honestly don't know...um...we could go back home and play some music around the house or something?" Josh offered. "I downloaded a bunch of new music on my phone, so..."

I looked over at Brendon who was looking at me. "S-sure! B-but can we pl-play the s-song we li-listened to l-last night?"

"Which song was that, sweetie?" I asked. "We listened to a lot."

He shrugged. "I l-liked all of th-those." He said, giggling softly.

"Okay, I'll play some of those." I said, looking at my friend's faces. "It's not a weird playlist, calm down."

They shook their heads. "Okay, sure. Let's get home and raid the fridge." Tyler jumped onto Josh's back, and Brendon climbed onto mine. We started our walk back, and I was just happy that Brendon was still mine and I wouldn't have to worry about my ex anymore.
