Brendon's POV
❀ • ❀ • ❀ • ❀ • ❀

Dallon and I lay on our bed, my head on his chest as he gently cards his fingers through my hair. I keep my eyes on the tv, as we watch the nature channel like we always do.

I giggle a little as I see a funny looking bird, but suddenly Josh bursts through our door, making me jump and cling to Dallon a bit as we both look up at him.

"Sorry for scaring you, Brenny," Josh says as he walks in and sits on the edge of our bed, facing me and Dallon.

"I-It's okay," I reply, and I giggle a little as Dallon sits up more, pulling me into his lap.

"So what's up?" Dallon asks, and he rubs my sides gently as he looks over at Josh, resting his chin on my shoulder. "Why did you decide to bust through our bedroom door?"

"Well.." Josh says, and he giggles as he turns to sit up on his knees. "So y'know how we mentioned a double date? Ty and I were bored so basically we wanna go on one today! If that's good with you two," he goes on to say, and I cock my head a little.

What was a double date?

I turn and look at Dallon, and he just smiles and kisses my cheek gently. I still didn't understand, but I'm sure it would be fun since it was gonna be with Josh and Tyler.

"Sure! As far as I know Bren and I weren't doing anything," Dallon says and he looks down at me, kissing my lips in a short but sweet way. "Did you have anything planned, baby?"

I shake my head no, and then I look back at Josh who is practically bouncing in place with excitement.

"Alright! Meet us in the living room when you're ready! And dress casually, we're not going anywhere that requires a suit," Josh says, before he goes running out of the room to what I presume is his and Tyler's room to get ready.

Dallon and I get ready pretty quickly, Dallon wearing a hoodie and jeans while I wear my hoodie with a pink skirt so it matches the strings on my hoodie. After Dallon had found out I liked skirts, he had let me get more and I loved them all.

We finished getting dressed and we went into the living room, seeing Tyler and Josh sitting on the couch presumingly waiting for us to be done.

Josh looks up and he smiles as he sees us, and he moves to be standing, Tyler quickly following him and walking over to be stood in front of us as we start to head for the door.

"So Tyler and I found this bowling alley, and we thought we could just go there! It looked pretty nice, from what me and Ty saw," Josh says, and he opens the door, holding it open so that we can all walk out.

"We can also walk since it's pretty close," Tyler adds, and everyone nods. I was pretty thankful that we could walk since I never liked riding in the car, despite being able to hold Dallon's and the whole time.

We arrive at the place pretty quickly and my eyes immediately go wide as I look around, many things in the room catching my eyes. I see many bright colors, and there's so many lights and noises, and I can't tell which one I should focus on.

Dallon looks down at me and smiles as I grip his hand, staying close to his side since I was a bit unsure about everything in the room.

"Basically it's a game, darling. You see those?" Dallon asks, and he points to a thing that has sphere type things in it. I nod gently. "Those are called bowling balls, and they have three holes in the top of them so that you can hold them with your fingers. The white things on that runway are called pins. Basically you're trying to use the bowling ball to knock down all the pins."

I nod along as he talks, and I jump a little as I hear a loud noise. I hide myself behind Dallon, and I peek around him, trying to see what exactly made the noise. When I look over, I see someone cheering, since he had just knocked over all the "pins" on his runway.

I see Josh and Ty over at a desk, and they end up coming back with several pairs of shoes, and I cock my head a bit.

"You also have to put these on," Dallon says as he takes two pairs from Josh, and he shows them to me. I frown slightly since they were very nice looking, but I just go along with it and with Dallon's help, I manage to get them on.

We go and find our own runway, and it has seats around it so Dallon and I sit down as he starts to explain the rules of the game to me. I nodded along as he spoke, and I watched Josh get up to apparently "start the game." So far it had seemed fun to me, but I still wasn't sure. I mess with the ends of my skirt as Dallon continues to talk, explaining everything I needed to do.

I continued telling Brendon how the game worked, until I felt someone drumming on my head. "Uh...what're you doing?"

"You're talking too much." Josh said, drumming on Tyler's head also with...I didn't know and I didn't want to know. "Let's just play the game!"

Tyler gave Josh a side eye, crossing his legs and arms. "Scuse me, could you not?"

"Sorry, babe." Josh said, kissing the top of his boyfriend's head, wrapping his arms around Tyler.

Brendon held onto my arm, resting his head on my shoulder. I smiled, running my fingers through his hair. "You doing okay, sweetheart?" He nodded, looking over at Josh.

"J-Josh? H-how do we p-play?"

"Didn't Dal explain it?" Josh asked.

"I did, but I guess I didn't do a good job." I said, shrugging my shoulders, which made Brendon's head hit my jaw. "Oh, I'm sorry, darling!"

"It's o-okay." Brendon replied, sitting up so he could focus on our friend. "Th-these shoes are w-weird."

We smiled as Brendon stood up, moving around a little in the shoes. Tyler went over to him, doing some strange dance he had just come up with.

"Yes baby! Work it!" Josh exclaimed, which made Tyler blush and go to his boyfriend.

"You're a dork, Jishwa." Tyler said.

"Says the guy who was just dancing...what were you dancing?" I asked. Tyler shrugged, looking back to Brendon.

"Yo, let's go get some...bowling balls." He said, smirking. Josh rolled his eyes, and I pursed my lips so I didn't laugh. We were a bunch of dirty minded school boys still, even if we were old enough to be 'matured'.

Brendon held my hand, skipping to the bowling ball rack. "Th-that one's p-pretty!" He exclaimed, pointing to a pink and blue one. He bent down to pick it up, but whimpered. "D-Dally! I need h-help!"

I smiled, helping him put it back. "Okay, let's get a lighter one, baby." We found a turquoise one, and Brendon could lift it pretty easily.

"Nice!" Tyler said, as he carried a red and black ball, Josh holding one almost identical. I had a blue one cause I'm boring like that and didn't care.

"S-so we g-got balls." Brendon said.

Tyler and Josh began laughing, as I turned dark red, trying to hold back my own laughter. "Wh-what? What d-did I s-say?"

Tyler shook his head, still laughing. Brendon looked at me. "Wh-why're they l-laughing?"

"No reason, sweetie, don't worry." I said, kissing the top of his head, glaring at the other two. They stopped, but would giggle a little. I rolled my eyes, as we got back to our alley.

Josh went first, showing Brendon how to play. I smiled, enjoying myself watching him. "Hey, you're staring again." Tyler joked, standing in my field of vision.

"Oh shoo." I said, shoving him a little. Brendon looked over at me, smiling. I smiled back, squeezing my eyes shut. I heard him giggle softly, and I smiled even more.

"Uh, Dal? You look kinda crazy right now." Josh called over. I opened my eyes and flipped him off, grinning.

"Hey! Don't flip my boyfriend off!" Tyler exclaimed, shoving my hand down. "Plus there's an innocent bean here."

"Bren isn't a bean." I said.

"But he is a bee." Josh called over his shoulder. "Y'know, B for Brendon? I'm explaining this too much."

"Wait a gosh darn second!" Tyler exclaimed. "What if that was his new nickname? B?"

"What about bumblebee?" I asked. "Is that stupid?"

"Yes." Josh said, while Tyler shook his head. I rolled my eyes, looking over at my boyfriend.

"Baby!" I called. "Do you want me to call you bumblebee?"

Brendon looked over, blushing a little, looking at the floor. "Um...s-sure...what d-do I c-call you?"

"Dally darling." Josh said. "Oh gosh, that sounds terrible out loud."

"Yeah it does!" I exclaimed. "Baby, you can keep calling me Dally, or you can make something up." He smiled and nodded, turning back to Josh.

We all finally got the idea of the game, and I did pretty good, which surprised me. I threw the ball again, not looking at what happened to the pins. I heard Josh, Tyler, and Brendon cheer and I hoped they weren't pranking me.

"You got a strike!" Tyler exclaimed. "Good job!" I grinned, seeing Brendon was confused but happy.

"I-I don't k-know what's h-happening, but I-I'm proud of y-you!" He said, putting his arms around my neck. I smiled, kissing his forehead, then picked him up.

"Hey! Don't get too lovey!" Josh exclaimed, as I bounced Brendon in my arms a little, my arms under him so he didn't slip.

"Yeah, I don't care." I replied, pressing Brendon and my lips together in a sweet kiss. I felt him smile, as I tasted something fruity. "Baby, you taste good."

He giggled. "T-Ty g-gave me g-gum!" He stuck his tongue out, and I saw the chewed up piece of pink candy in his mouth. I smiled, setting him down, fixing his skirt.

"Do you like it, B?"

He nodded, giggling a little more. "D-Dally?"

"Holy, I thought he called you Daddy, that was about to get creepy." Josh said, receiving a playful slap from Tyler.

I rolled my eyes again. "What is it, sweetheart?"

"C-can I g-get more g-gum? T-Ty said w-we could." He said, giving me puppy dog eyes again.

I smiled. "Go ahead, hun, hold on." I dug in my pockets, finding some money. "Here, go crazy and have a sugar high."

Bredon kissed me again, before running off with Tyler, both of them talking about something. I smiled, turning back to Josh.

Tyler's POV

I kept a close eye on Brendon, making sure he didn't run off to go look at something, or if some creep decides to come up to him.

"Wh-what stuff sh-should we get?" Brendon asked me, holding onto the money Dallon had given him.

"Um...I don't know, whatever you want, but I'll tell you what's good and what's nasty."

He giggled, skipping ahead of me. I rushed after him, grabbing his hand so he didn't get too far from me and I didn't get left behind. "Wh-what's th-that?"

He was pointing to a claw machine, and I instantly steered him away. "Yeah, that's gonna steal your money and you're gonna regret using it." I said.

"O-oh...okay." He replied, as we got a little bit closer to where the snacks and stuff were. I realized that my shoe laces were loose, and I was gonna leave them like that, but Brendon stepped on them.

I fell forwards, Brendon trying to catch me but making it harder for me to regain my balance. "I'm okay, Bren, don't worry, I'm good." I said, putting my arms around his shoulders so I could stand up.

I saw a glimpse of someone walk in, and I looked up, trying to see what the person looked like. I didn't really care enough to check them out, cause why and I have a boyfriend.

I tried my shoe again, and we finally got to the snack station, looking for what we wanted. "Okay, the stuff in the bright wrappers are nasty," I said. "But the ones in the darker wrappers are great cause that's chocolate."

Brendon nodded, as I grabbed a handful of candy, putting it next to his money. The transaction took a few seconds, but we were in a hurry to get back. I grabbed his hand, and we both spun around and started our way back.

"HEY!" A girl exclaimed, as the three of us collided. "Look where you're going next time."

"I'm sorry." I said, looking up. My eyebrows went up, and I held Brendon's hand tighter. I didn't know what to say or do, so I just stared at my best friend's ex girlfriend.
