Dallon's POV

I woke up to pressure on my hips. I didn't know why, there just was. I groaned, opening my eyes.
"G-good morning, D-Dally!" Brendon said. He was sitting on me, his hands on my chest for support. He was basically straddling me, and I kinda loved it.
"Good morning, baby." I said, my voice raspy. I sat up to kiss him, then lay back again. "Did you sleep okay?"
"I w-was with y-you, so y-yeah!" Brendon exclaimed, giggling. His hair had fallen into his eyes, and he looked adorable. I smiled a little, holding onto him so I could sit up.
I listened, trying to hear something, but the house was dead quiet. That was weird, normally there was some kind of noise. "Baby, I'm gonna check something real quick, stay right here."
Brendon nodded, staying on the bed, fumbling with the remote that I had put on the dresser. I walked out of the room, trying to look calm, but ran as soon as I knew Brendon couldn't see me anymore.
I pulled out my phone, texting Ryan, Tyler, and Josh, I needed to know where they were right now. I didn't know what to do without them, and I knew Brendon would freak out if they didn't come back.
I checked the entire house, then ran outside on the deck. I sighed heavily, as I saw the three of them walk towards me, dripping wet. "There you are!"
"Sorry, we went for a quick swim." Josh said. "Oh by the way, Ty and I are gonna go on a date in a while."
I smiled. "Yeah! That's fine! Ryro, Bren, and I can hang out today!" Josh and Tyler rarely acted romantic around anyone else, but I knew that they were super sweet to each other, especially Josh. I had one time walked in on him putting flowers all over his and Tyler's room, and he had made me swear I wouldn't spoil the surprise for Ty.
"Actually, Dall, I'm gonna go out with some friends." Ryan said. "I haven't seen them in a while, and we decided to finally see each other!"
I nodded. "Well, you three have fun! Bren and I will just hang out here today, do you want me to cook?"
"Sure! That'd be great!" Josh said. "Wait...will Bren be upset that we left?"
"He'll be okay, Josh, don't worry." I said. "Have fun with Ty, and don't do anything stupid."
The other three rolled their eyes, walking into the house to change into decent clothes. I went back to my room, hovering over Brendon. He was laying on his stomach, and I was basically in a plank position over him. He giggled, rolling over so our noses were touching. "Wh-what're you d-doing?"
"Looking at the most beautiful thing on the planet." I said, lowering myself so I could kiss him. He giggled, kissing me back. He held onto my arms, and I was glad he didn't try to pull me down because I knew I would probably hurt him if he did.
"Baby," I gasped, as we broke away from our kiss. "Josh and Ty are going on a date, and Ryan is gonna hang out with some of his friends. So we have the house to ourselves."
Brendon smiled, then frowned. "Wh-what's a date?"
"It's something a couple does, they go out and spend time together." I explained.
"Why h-haven't we?" Brendon asked. He always asked me questions when I wasn't ready, it's like he could sense it. I had just gotten done making out with him, and he's asking me about dates? It's seven something in the morning, and I wasn't prepared at all.
"Because I couldn't walk for a while, and neither could you, and...and I didn't know if you wanted to." I said. "Would you wanna go out on a date?"
Brendon nodded vigorously. "D-do I n-need to d-dress up?"
"If you wanted to, baby." I said. "Depends on where we go, but I'll love you no matter what you wear."
Brendon smiled. "Y-yeah, I w-wanna go on a d-date with y-you!" I smiled back at him, locking our lips again. My mind began racing, thinking of all the places I could take Brendon, of all the things we could do together, we could be a couple that didn't just stay inside and in the ocean.
"Hey, baby, do you wanna go get some clothes for you?" I asked randomly while we were watching TV.
"D-do you n-not want m-me to wear y-yours any....anymore?" Brendon asked, pulling on the large T-shirt I had given him.
"No, darling, it's just that my clothes are big on you, and I want you to wear something you'll like." I said. "Do you wanna go out?"
Brendon tilted his head to the side, thinking. "Yeah, I w-would." I smiled, helping him up. We grabbed some shoes, which Bren was very confused by.
"Wh-why?" He asked, as I tied his sneakers for him. "Wh-why're they o-on my f-feet?"
"So they don't get hurt." I said, pulling him off the bed. "You good? Feeling okay?"
He nodded, holding my hand. "Wh-where're we going?" We began to walk outside, going to my car. "Wh-what's that?"
"We're going into town to get clothes, and this is a car, we're gonna drive there." I said, opening the door for him. Brendon whimpered a little, as I got in my side. "It'll be fun, baby, I promise."
I turned the car on, and I began to pull out of the driveway. Brendon screamed a little, grabbing my hand. "Babe, we're okay, we're in a metal box, we're not gonna be hurt." I said, not thinking about the fact that we could very well get in a car wreck right now, but I didn't want to make him freak out anymore than he already was.
"You're okay, you're okay." I kept saying over and over again, trying to soothe Brendon. Thankfully the clothing store I wanted to go to wasn't very far away, so we didn't have to be in the car for very long. We pulled into the parking lot, and Brendon instantly got out of the car.
"Baby, c'mere." I said, holding out my arms. He ran into them, whimpering. "I'm sorry, sweetie, I didn't mean to scare you."
"It-it's okay." Brendon said. "I-I don't l-like that th-thing."
I nodded. "I know it must be scary, I didn't even think about it, darling, I'm sorry. Do you wanna go in the store now? Take your mind off of that?"
Brendon nodded, holding onto my arm, as we walked into the clothing store. I saw his eyes widen, taking everything in. "C'mere, I'll show you where I get clothes."
I showed him all of the guy clothes, looking at some things for myself. I had been looking at some new belts, when Brendon tapped me on the shoulder. "Yes, baby?"
"C-can I g-get this?" He asked, holding up a sparkly, pink V-neck shirt. "It's p-pretty." I looked at it more, then saw Brendon's smile.
"Of course, baby, pick whatever you want." I said. "Let's go look at the wom- the pretty stuff, okay?"
Brendon giggled, grabbing my hand. He lead me over to some of the women's clothing, but I honestly didn't care who it was made for. It's clothes, anyone can wear what they want.
"Baby, feel this." I said, handing Brendon a fluffy white hoodie with pink strings. He gasped, holding it close.
"It's s-so soft!" He exclaimed. "C-can we g-get it?" He looked over at me, my arms already full of clothes. "W-we don't h-have to."
"Just toss it up here." I said, taking the hoodie. "It'll look great on you baby, now let's find some things that are red, I think you'll look great in that."
I didn't know there could be so many red clothes. Skirts, dresses, blouses, shirts, crop tops, etc, etc. Brendon picked out a long sleeved blouse with a bow on it cause he thought it was really pretty. I knew that this trip was gonna get expensive, but it was for him, so I didn't care.
"Baby, you wanna look at jewelry?" I asked, gesturing to where jewelry was. He went over, looking at all the shiny things. I saw him look at a ring, then he looked at the one I had given him.
"D-Dally!" He called. I went over to him, and I saw that he looked distressed. "B-both rings a-are p-pretty! B-but one is y-yours!"
"Honey, you can get both!" I said. "But you know what would look amazing on you? This necklace." I held up a small gold necklace, something not too crazy, but was still pretty.
"I-I love it." Brendon said, putting the ring back, and holding the necklace. He giggled, noticing that I had to turn to look at him because of all the clothes in my arms. "L-let's go h-home, D-Dally."
"Woah, hold it!" I said. "I still have to pay for this, you know. We can't just walk out of here."
Brendon tilted his head to the side. "Why?"
"Because...this stuff costs money, and if I don't give the people the money for the clothes then I'll get in trouble." I explained, as I set the clothes and Brendon's necklace on the counter.
We got back in the car a minute or two later, this time Brendon was wearing his fluffy white hoodie and necklace. He looked at himself in the mirror, and smiled. "I-I look p-pretty."
I gave him a quick kiss. "You always look beautiful, baby doll." He giggled a little, holding my hand as I slowly turned the car on. "I love you so much, baby, I think those clothes will look amazing on you."
"Th-thanks, D-Dally!" Brendon exclaimed. "Wh-when can we g-go on a d-date?"
"Whenever you want, darling, but right now I wanna go home, put your clothes away, and cuddle with my baby." I said, smiling at Brendon. He giggled softly again,
"D-Dally, d-do I look s-silly with t-two necklaces?" Brendon asked, pointing to the small gold one, and the one with that let him change from merman to human and back again.
"No, baby, I think you look really sexy." I said, making Brendon blush and giggle. "When we get inside we can watch some more TV, okay?"
"O-okay!" Brendon said. "Th-thanks for g-getting me a-all this s-stuff."
"Of course, darling, now help me get these bags outta the car, please." I said, but Brendon climbed onto my back instead. "Or I'll carry you too." He giggled, as I fumbled with my keys, opening the door. "K, baby, we're home, sorry about the car."
Brendon didn't even pay attention, he just grabbed the bags from my hands, kissed me, and ran into our room. I shook my head, laughing. "Was it that bad?"
"N-no! I'm j-just happy w-we're home!" Brendon called. He was already on our bed, the blankets pulled around him. I smiled, snuggling up next to him, giving him soft kisses behind his ear. "D-Dally?" I hummed a little, letting him know he could continue. "I-I'm happy I-I'm with y-you."
"I'm happy I'm with you too, darling." I said.
