Brendon's POV

Dallon and I had played Tyler's video games for a while. I was sitting up on his lap as Tyler tried to show me how to play and everything, as well as explaining what I needed and didn't need to do.

Every now and then I would feel a kiss to the back of my neck, or he would rub my sides a bit. I enjoyed his touch a lot, and I was more relaxed now since Ryan was still out of the house.

Tyler's games were super fun! Josh kept complaining the whole time, but it was pretty funny to be honest.

"Why do YOU always get to play? I wanna play with him too!" Josh whines, and he kicks his legs a little, much like a little kid that was throwing a fit.

"Because they're my games! And you always complain about them, so it's what you get," Tyler replies, and he smacks Josh in the arm when he starts to whine and kick again.

I giggle softly and shake my head. Their bickering could be annoying, but at times like this it was pretty funny.

We played for a bit longer, with Josh and Tyler still bickering in the background, and I still remained in Dallon's lap.

Suddenly, we hear the door knob jiggle and we go silent, all of us knowing who it was on the other side. I whimper again, and I feel Dallon's hold on my body tighten protectively.

I didn't want to talk, or even see Ryan again after I heard what he had said earlier. I was scared that if it was just me and him alone, that he would do something. I knew he didn't really like me, despite what Dallon tries to tell me about him just having anger issues.

He thought I was annoying, and he didn't like me for supposedly "taking Dallon away", but I just didn't understand. He didn't have to treat me like that.

"Well.. I guess I should let him in," Tyler says, and he doesn't really seem too enthusiastic about it either. I hear Josh sigh, and he sits back a little, obviously not being happy either.

Josh was super nice to me, and he had been ever since he met me. I was grateful for that, and Dallon seemed to be too. He would always make sure I'm okay, and he treated me like he had known me for years, when really, it had only been just a few days.

I watch as Tyler gets up, and he walks over to the door to let Ryan in. He walks a bit slower I notice, like he really doesn't want to do it.

He slowly opens the door, and Ryan comes barging in, and he doesn't seem any happier than he was when Tyler and Josh kicked him out. In fact, he almost looked even madder now.

I whimper, and I turn and hide my face in Dallon's neck, and I feel my chest tighten as my breathing starts to become almost ragged, my nerves starting to pick at me. I didn't want to freak out in front of them, that would give Ryan even more of a reason to yell at me, and I really didn't want that to happen.

My hands shake a little as I start to cling to Dallon, and my breathing picks up more as I hear Tyler and Ryan's footsteps get closer.

I tightened my hold on Brendon, keeping my hands on his back, kissing him under his ear, as I tried to reassure him that everything was gonna be okay.

At least I hoped everything was gonna be okay.

I glanced over my shoulder to see Ryan red in the face, Tyler leaning on the back of the couch, Josh holding his hand.

"Why the fuck did you lock me out of my fucking house!?" Ryan shouted, glaring at Tyler.

"You deserved it." Josh muttered, as Tyler put his hand on his shoulder. I saw that they were both as nervous as I was.

"Say it to my face, Dun." Ryan said spat, leaning forwards. "Say it."

"Shut up!" Tyler shouted. "Don't talk to Joshua like that!"

"I can talk to you both however the hell I want!" Ryan shouted back. I looked over, glaring at him.

"Ryan, stop being a jackass." I said, sitting up so I could shift Brendon in my arms.

"Dal, you don't get to tell me to stop being a jackass cause I'm not!" Ryan yelled. "Now why did you lock me out of my house!?"

"YOU YELLED AT DALLON!" Josh shouted. "YOU'VE BEEN MEAN TO BREN AND HE'S DONE NOTHING TO YOU!"

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE! I DIDN'T DO A FUCKING THING WRONG!" Ryan yelled.

"Brendon has been nothing but nice to you, and you yell at him for loving your friend?" Tyler said. "Also, Ryan, there's a point when you stop making fun of your friends, and you need to learn that, man."

"What point was that?" Ryan asked. I wasn't sure if he was calming down, or if he was still mad and just trying not to act like it to fire up again.

"You kept teasing us about earlier this morning!" I said. "That's personal, Ryan! I wouldn't do that to you!" He rolled his eyes again, not paying as much attention as I'd want him to.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've already had this talk, Dal." He sighed. "Why do you guys have to be so fucking controlling?"

"Because it's not okay to say that to them!" Josh said. "They're your friends! They're the ones who look out for you, bro, and you're yelling at them for no good reason."

"They?" Ryan scoffed. "Dallon's my friend, and he's on some real fucking thin ice right now. Brendon doesn't do anything! He's a fucking parasite on my friend! He doesn't stick up for himself, he's way too fucking emotional, and he relies on Dal for every little thing!"

"HEY!" I yelled, feeling Brendon jump a little in my arms. "HE'S NOT A PARASITE! HE'S MY BOYFRIEND! SO LEAVE HIM THE HELL ALONE!"

"LET HIM SAY IT FOR HIMSELF!" Ryan yelled back. "C'mon, Brendon, show your boyfriend that you aren't such a fucking bitch after all."

"Bren, you don't have to." Josh said softly. "Just ignore him." Tyler nodded, agreeing with his boyfriend. I wanted to tell him that Brendon couldn't see Tyler nodding, but now wasn't the time.

"C'mon, Brendon." Ryan said in a mocking tone. "Let's hear it, tell me you're not a bitch."

I must've been constricting Brendon because my arms were so tightly wrapped around him, I wanted to protect him from every little thing, but right now I didn't know what to do.
