Brendon's POV

"Bren, where's your necklace?"
Dallon's words ring through my ears as he says them, and I bring my hand up, touching the spot on my neck where my necklace was supposed to be. When I don't feel it, my eyes widen, and a feeling of panic washes over me as I try to think of how it could've come off.
"I d-dunno!" I say hurriedly, and I immediately sit up, looking in the sheets and trying to find my necklace.
I was scared that Dallon would be mad at me if we couldn't find my necklace, maybe he preferred me being a human rather than a merman.
Dallon sits up with me, and he looks around as well, trying to find the bright red crystal.
"If it's in the bathroom, then we'll have to wait baby. Josh and Ty are still in there," Dallon says, rolling his eyes a little, and I whimper.
He takes notice to my whimper, and he sits up more to help me look.
"I-If I don't f-find it, I o-only have so l-long before I tu-turn back.. I need t-to find it!" I say, and I get up off the bed, looking around the room quickly to see if I can see the shiny red jewel anywhere.
I feel Dallon grab my arm, and he pulls me back down to him, his arms wrapping around me as he holds me on his lap.
"Baby, I need you to take a breath, okay? We'll find your necklace, I promise you," he says, and he kisses my head gently, something that relaxes me almost immediately.
I nod slightly, and I take a deep breath.
"It's probably just in the bathroom where Tyler and Josh are, so whenever they leave we can look and see if it's in there okay, baby? It's okay, I swear we'll find it," Dallon says and I nod gently, his words starting to reassure me.
I let out a quiet breath. I was scared that we wouldn't find it, and if we didn't, would Dallon be mad at me? He seemed to like that I would be able to turn human when I wanted, so would he be upset with me? I didn't want him to be..
I curl up in his lap, but it takes me a second to really find a comfortable position since I still really didn't know what to do with my legs, or where to put them. It was pretty weird if you ask me, but the fact that Dallon let me take that hoodie off made me happy. I didn't have to worry about the itchiness on my chest anymore.
I noticed when I did take it off, he looked at me in a different way but I don't know how to describe it. It was a special way, to say the least.
I feel Dallon's hands on my hips, and he's rubbing small circles into them, and his gentle motions make me relax more against him, a soft sigh escaping my lips as I laid my head on Dallon's shoulder.
"H-How long a-are they go-gonna be in there?" I ask, and I put my hand on Dallon's chest, tracing it out gently.
Dallon sighs softly and he shrugs. "Probably not much longer baby," he says, and I nod. I could still hear Josh, Tyler, and Ryan talking in the room next to us, but as far as I knew, Josh and Tyler didn't sound sick anymore.
I hear them walk out of the bathroom, and someone turn off the lights. I look to Dallon, my eyes lighting up a little.
"C-Can we go lo-look, Dally? Pl-Please?" I ask, and Dallon nods as he kisses my cheek, smiling gently.

I helped Brendon up off the bed, holding onto the doorway for support. I could see that he was shaking a little, his face pale. "Hey, baby, it's okay."
He nodded, whimpering. We both went to the bathroom, and I instantly gagged a little, even though there was barely anything to be grossed out about. I was kinda sensitive to smells, so you can probably guess why I felt bad.
Brendon and I searched the bathroom, looking through cabinets, the shower, behind the toilet, inside folded towels, anywhere you could possibly think of we checked. I had been looking behind the mirror as a last option, when I heard Brendon let out a small cry.
"I-it's not h-here, D-Dally!" He cried. "I-I'm sorry!" He crumpled to the floor, hiding his head in his arms.
"No, baby, it's okay." I said, kneeling in front of him, rubbing his legs gently. I tried not to think that he may not have them anymore, but I kept my eyes on his face. "Sweetheart, we'll find it, I promise."
"Wh-what if we d-don't?" Brendon sniffled. "W-will you st-still love m-me?" He looked at me like he was scared that I was going to say no, like I was going to get up and leave if he got his tail back and couldn't change back.
"Brendon, I love you no matter what happens, legs or not I'll be here for forever." I said gently yet firmly. "Don't you dare think that for a second I'll stop loving you cause I won't."
Brendon nodded, closing his eyes. "D-Dally, my l-legs hurt."
I realized that he might be beginning to change back, so I grabbed his hand, holding onto the door at the same time as I pulled him up. He whimpered again, as we hurried to our room.
Brendon fell onto the floor again, as I fell onto the bed, my feet throbbing still. I saw that he had fallen onto my hoodie, so at least he had fallen on something kinda soft. I heard him gasp suddenly, as I whirled around.
"D-DALLY!" He exclaimed, as I looked over. "L-look!"
I stared, as he held up the necklace, tears in his eyes. "Where the fuck was it?"
"In y-your hood-hoodie!" Brendon giggled. "It was j-just in th-there!" I laughed too, leaning over to kiss him. We had just freaked out over a necklace that was stuck in a sweatshirt, I smiled into the kiss, feeling Brendon break away for a second to put the necklace back on, then pressed our lips together again.
"D-Dally?" Brendon whispered. I hummed a little, letting him know that he could go ahead and ask me whatever question he had come up with. "C-can we....have s-sex tog-together?"
I inhaled sharply, leaning back a little. "Bren, are you sure? And I mean really sure, cause there's no going back." I tried to tell him how important his decision was just by my voice, and he seemed to understand.
"I love you, D-Dally, I w-want it." Brendon said, as we both looked at each other for what felt like hours.
I nodded, smiling a little even though I was kinda nervous. We both went to our bed, laying down, facing each other. "You ready?"
He nodded. "H-how do we d-do it?"
I realized I had never actually told him how sex worked, and it was his first time having something he didn't understand. I sighed. "Just trust me honey, it'll feel good, I promise."
He nodded, leaning over to kiss me. I could tell that he was scared and excited, just through one kiss. My hands roamed his upper back and the back of his neck, my fingers messing around in his hair. He put his hands on my hips, our kiss beginning to heat up a little.
Brendon tugged on my shirt a little, I didn't know if he meant to or not, but I decided to slip it off. I heard him giggle softly as I tossed my shirt across the room. We began kissing again, this time my hand going to where the zipper was on his jeans.
"B-babe, wh-what are you d-doing?" Brendon asked, as I stopped unbuttoning his pants.
"Baby, to have sex we can't have these on." I said, pointing to our jeans. "Is that okay?"
He nodded, pushing himself up a little so I could slip his jeans off easier. He fumbled with mine, not knowing how to get them off. I chuckled softly, reaching down to help him. We finally got them off, tossing them on the floor with the rest of our clothes.
We had both seen each other without clothes on, but this was different. I knew what was going to happen, and he didn't. I felt like I was being untrustworthy and that I was lying to him somehow by not telling him what was going to happen. I leaned in close, gently whispering in his ear what I was going to do.
"A-all that?" Brendon asked, staring at me. "I-is it gonna h-hurt? It s-sounds like it w-will."
"No, Bren, it won't hurt." I said gently. "Are you sure about it? This is your last chance before we do this."
He nodded. "G-go ahead."
I loved that he was so innocent about everything, whenever I had had sex before, the other girls would try way too hard and whisper seductive things in my ear, but Brendon just wanted to do this because we loved each other.

My mouth went bone dry as I heard Brendon gasp and moan at the same time, his nails digging into my shoulders. "A-are you okay, b-baby?" I asked, stuttering over my words a little.
He nodded, closing his eyes. "F-feels so g-good, D-Dally."
I smiled at him, kissing his neck gently, biting and sucking on that place occasionally. I got tired of that, connecting our lips together, Brendon would occasionally break the kiss as he let out a moan or some other noise out of his mouth, which made me shiver.
After a while, I collapsed next to Brendon, both of us breathing heavily. "How was it, sweetheart?" I asked, brushing stray hairs out of his face.
"I-I loved i-it." Brendon sighed, looking at me with what I took as a loving look. "C-can we d-do it a-again?"
I shook my head. "Not right now, baby, I'm tired." I pulled my boyfriend close, burying my head in his neck, kissing him there. I had given him a small hickey, and he had left me one in the same place as last time. We both were smiling, holding onto each other semi tightly, finally knowing that we loved each other in a physical way, which was something I didn't know was a thing I needed. But damn had it felt so good.
