A Joint Project.
...
Decades had passed after the events of the failed Jurassic Park, and the San Diego incident where everyone had realized that dinosaurs had been brought back from extinction thanks to the advances in genetic engineering. All thanks to John Hammond's dream of opening a theme park where people can experience of witnessing the prehistoric animals with their own eyes.
While said dream had fallen because of the incident that took place on Jurassic Park, illegal genetic tests were being conducted on Isla Sorna, also known as Site B, and had brought back new species, such as the Spinosaurus. However, over the course of nine months since their cloning, the newly brought back species were experimented on. These were called "the amalgam tests." Only a select few Ingen scientists, and possibly Dr. Wu, knew what these tests were. No one spoke a word about the tests, leaving what happened on site B to be shrouded in mystery.
Any information on the tests or projects was kept locked away in secrecy. All but one, and that project was about to be brought to light.
...
A meeting can be seen taking place between two separate companies. One specialized in genetics, known as Ingen. The other specialized in robotics, and advances in technology, known as JCJenson.
Why are these two companies with different obligations meeting together? That hasn't been said. Until now that is.
Dr. Henry Wu. One of the original, now former leading geneticist in creating the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park, and the now shut down Jurassic World. He, as well as former Ingen personnel were called into a meeting with the JCJenson company. The current CEO wants to have a word with the former scientists about something regarding some past projects.
Due to curiosity, Dr. Wu had convinced his former colleagues to join him to see what it is they wish to talk about.
We see Dr. Wu, former Ingen scientists, and JCJenson employees all seated in a room. The CEO of JCJenson then walked in to see that everyone he had called over had arrived.
"Ah, good. Everyone's here. I'll get right to the point. I've called you all here in regard to a past project created by Ingen that's been kept out of public knowledge for some time that's related to these... amalgam tests." The CEO stated.
"What exactly are you talking about? The amalgam tests are the most kept secret tests during Jurassic Park's creation." Dr. Wu asked.
"I'm well aware, and so is everyone else. However, curiosity had led to some people snooping around, and managed to discover something rather interesting in relation to those tests. Tell me, Dr. Wu. Does the name... Ultimasaurus, ring any bells?" The CEO questioned.
Dr. Wu, and the former Ingen scientists tensed up when they heard that.
"How do you know about that?" Dr. Wu demanded.
"Like I said. People got curious, and began snooping around for some answers. They didn't find anything besides the fact that some dinosaur species were created illegally, such as the Spinosaurus. They did find a clue of a failed project known as the Ultimasaurus. Rumor has it that it's supposedly a hybrid." The CEO explained.
"And you're bringing this to our attention because why exactly?" Dr. Wu questioned.
"Because it piqued my interest. This Frankenstein project of yours shows potential. However, I'd like to know more about this failed experiment. Such as what I don't know." The CEO explained.
"Why would I tell you? You're not really giving me a reason." Dr. Wu countered.
"Because I see this as an opportunity for Ingen, and JCJenson to make this into a joint project of sorts. I can see where this project can succeed in a way. You just need to hear me out." The CEO continued to explain.
"Last time I 'heard someone out', the prototype indoraptor broke out. So far, you're wasting our time with your poor negotiation skills." Dr. Wu stated.
"Ok look. My colleagues, and I saw the basic blueprints for this monster's creation. We see an opportunity for creating a super soldier from the ground up. Not just some mindless weapon though, but rather a companion in the field like a military dog." The CEO said, trying to convince Wu.
"Military dogs don't eat their partners when they forget to feed them. Let's just pretend that I'm on board with this idea, and I actually go through with whatever the hell you have in mind, YOU will have to listen to me on what I have to say about the animal. That means no interference, no cutbacks, no shortcuts, no rushing, and no selling the creation to rich buyers because they offer a shit ton of cash. Unless you want a repeat of what happened at the Lockwood manor with the Indoraptor because you decided to act like a fucking greedy jackass." Dr. Wu stated firmly, clear irritation in his voice.
"Easy, doc. Believe me, I've read into the incidents that happened with the Rex, and Raptor hybrids, because of human error. I don't see it as any fault of yours, just people undermining you, and your creations. Which is why if you were to be onboard with this project, you'd have full control over the animal's creation, and well being. Whatever you say goes. As for me, and my employees, we'll be working on trying to make an animal into a soldier. If we're unable to do so, you'll still have full say on what to do with the animal. All expenses would be covered by us. Sound reasonable enough?" The CEO tried to convince.
Dr. Wu was silent for a moment. He contemplated on the idea of creating another hybrid. Each hybrid that he had created had either proved to be unstable, or had gone wrong in some way. On the other hand, the fact that he would have full control over the creation, and well being of said creation. That is, if said creation were to be proven successful. The idea is tempting... but there's one thing he wants to address.
"If this project were to fail... I expect you, and your company to take full responsibility for its failure. If not, my former colleagues, and I are walking out the door." Dr. Wu stated with authority.
"Sold. So, Dr. Wu, do we have a deal?" The CEO asked.
"... Deal." Said Dr. Wu.
"Splendid! Now, first thing's first... what can you tell us about this Ultimasaurus project, and what it has to do with these amalgam tests? You don't need to tell me what these tests are, just the history with this lost project." The CEO questioned.
"The amalgam testing began in the 1990s, while Jurassic Park was under construction. This thing was created before the original park fell. Before the Indominus Rex. Even before the insane Scorpius Rex. However, it was never made public, and kept hidden on site B due to complications." Dr. Wu explained.
"So you're saying that this... monster, while the first true hybrid dinosaur, wasn't made public due to complications? What kind of complications?" The CEO questioned.
"It was a jack of all trades, master of none I'm afraid. Just because it looks cool, doesn't mean it'll automatically function the way you want it to." Dr. Wu explained.
"Why not just give the dinosaur the features you like, and have it behave like you want it to?" The CEO asked.
"I'm going to tell you exactly what I told the late Masrani. You cannot have an animal with exaggerated predator features without the corresponding behavioral traits." Wu stated firmly.
"In this case, it had both predator, and prey behavioral traits?" The CEO questioned.
"Exactly." Said Dr. Wu.
"But what makes it any different than the other hybrids?" The CEO questioned.
"Unlike the Scorpius, and Indominus, the Ultimasaurus had less genetic contributors. Less contributors increases congruity. Meaning its individual components work together, and lessens split instincts. While the Scorpius Rex was an insane mindless killing machine, the Indominus and the Indoraptor's traits allowed them to function like they were supposed to. Yet we underestimated the Indominus, and Indoraptor. Both becoming unfortunate failures. The Ultimasaurus however, due to the species, and the characteristics it was given, it still didn't function like we had hoped. Some of the characteristics had hindered it somewhat. Not to mention that it was aggressively reactive to anything perceived as predator, or prey. It put too much stress on the animal. We... had to put it down." Wu explained, sounding somber at the end.
"So the animal no longer exists?" The CEO asked.
"I'm afraid not. Its remains were disposed of, and made to be like it never existed. Seems like it wasn't wiped clean from the record like we had expected." Dr. Wu answered.
"So the Ultimasaurus would have to be recreated from scratch?" The CEO asked.
"Yes. Though not an exact copy. I believe I can create an improved, and more functional version of the animal. Though it'll take time to retrieve the selected DNA samples. Even harder to retrieve one of the DNA samples in particular." Dr. Wu explained.
"What DNA sample are we talking about? It can't be that hard, can it?" The CEO asked.
"For one, it's located in Biosyn Sanctuary, along with other specimens we may require. That's the easy part. Getting in, and out of Biosyn Sanctuary only half the hard part. The other half of the difficult task, is that the sample I'm talking about is from a—"

The scene then fades in to show a DNA spiral on a digital screen as music plays while genetic material is displayed of different dinosaur species that make up the image of the new hybrid.
🎶 I'm digging with my fingertips
I'm ripping at the ground I stand upon
I'm searching for fragile bones
Evolution
I'm never gonna be refined
Keep trying but I won't assimilate
Sure, we have come far in time
Watch the bow break 🎶
🎶 And I'm sorry I don't believe
By the evidence that I see
That there's any hope left for me
It's evolution
Just evolution 🎶
🎶 And I
I do not dare deny
The basic beast inside
It's right here, it's controlling my mind
And why
Do I deserve to die?
I'm dominated by
This animal that's locked up inside 🎶
🎶 Close up to get a real good view
I'm betting that the species will survive
Hold tight, I'm getting inside you
Evolution
And when we're going to find these bones
They're going to want to keep them in a jar
The number one virus caused by
Procreation 🎶
🎶 And the planet may go astray
In a million years they'll say
Those motherfuckers we're all deranged
It's evolution
Just evolution 🎶
🎶 And I
I do not dare deny
The basic beast inside
It's right here, it's controlling my mind
And why
Do I deserve to die?
I'm dominated by
This animal that's locked up inside 🎶
🎶 Take a look around
Nothing much has changed
Take a look around
Nothing much has changed
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
NOTHING MUCH HAS CHANGED
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
NOTHING MUCH HAS CHANGED
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
TAKE A LOOK AROUND
NOTHING MUCH HAS CHANGED
TAKE A LOOK AROUND 🎶
🎶 I, I do not dare deny
The basic beast inside
It's right here, it's controlling my mind
And why
Do I deserve to die?
I'm dominated by
This animal that's locked up inside 🎶
🎶 Why? 🎶
🎶 Why
Do I deserve to die? 🎶
