the hypercritical phase was strong on wattpad forever, first perpetrated by well-meaning reviewers but it eventually spiralled into a bit of an obsession that permeated the medium on here and turned into a lot of stories about as homogenous as a realistic warriors population would be. anyways here's a video about artistic liberty
