Since this story uses a lot of Islamic phrases and Arabic words, I thought I'd make a glossary to help those who don't know these words to understand and enjoy the story, as not everyone here speaks Arabic (don't worry, neither do I xD) 

Assalamu Alaykum =  Peace be with you (classic Islamic greeting)

In Sha Allah = If Allah (God) Wills It (usually said when referring to future events)

Jazakallahu Khair = May Allah reward you with goodness (a beautiful way to say thank you)

Masha Allah = As God has willed (when complimenting someone)

Alhamdulillah = All praise is due to Allah (a common reply to "how are you" to show gratefulness to God)

Astaghfirullah = I seek forgiveness from Allah (Mariam says this A LOT xD)

Wallah = I swear by God (to prove to someone you ain't lying)

Ya Rab = Oh God (asking God to give you strength, as Mariam has to do whenever dealing with Damian xD)

Qiblah = the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca where Muslims face to pray

Hasanat = credit for good deeds

Akhira = afterlife

Jahannam = hellfire

Um = mother

Baba = father

Eskut = be quiet
