"Mama," Shimin's voice broke through, tears streaming down her face.
"These boys saved your mother. Kagaro Riyu and Yone Ken. Boys, she is Shimin. Shimin Jaienta," Puroto introduced, acknowledging their heroic deed.
CHAPTER THREE
NOTHING TO DO WITH HISTORY
Present
JEO headquarters
In the corridors of the UA headquarters, Captain Shibuyu trailed behind Kagaro, her mind buzzing with questions. "Captain," she called out, her voice laced with uncertainty.
Kagaro continued walking, not bothering to turn around. "What is it, Shibuyu-san? You've been following me since we left the assembly room," he noted.
Shibuyu took a deep breath, gathering her courage before pressing on. "Captain! What are your plans for the new agents?" she asked, her voice tinged with urgency.
Kagaro finally turned to face her, his expression unreadable. "What do you mean, Shibuyu-san?" he inquired, taking a step closer to her.
"I mean... will you allow them to remain part of our team, the UA unit?" Shibuyu clarified, her words coming out in a rush.
Kagaro paused for a moment, considering his response carefully. "Yes," he finally replied, his tone firm. "Despite their questionable past actions, the spirits have chosen them. Momoko and Jenna may not realize it yet, but their stars have already chosen them as their masters."
Understanding washed over Shibuyu as she absorbed Kagaro's words. "So, are they also considered the secret weapon of Team Nine?" she ventured, seeking further clarification.
"For the time being," Kagaro confirmed, reminding her of Commander Awara's directives.
With a nod, Kagaro turned and began to walk away, leaving Shibuyu to contemplate their conversation.
As Kagaro disappeared from her view, Shimin entered the room where Jenna stood alone, staring out the window. Shimin approached her quietly, gently tapping her shoulder to get her attention.
Jenna startled slightly at the touch but quickly composed herself. "I thought you had gone home," Shimin remarked softly.
Jenna shook her head. "I thought I'd stay here until headquarters close and leave with the rest of the team," she replied, her voice quiet.
Curiosity piqued, Shimin turned the conversation to Jenna's star. "What's your star's name?" she inquired.
Jenna's gaze remained fixed outside as she answered, "I don't know. I haven't used it much."
Surprised by Jenna's response, Shimin pressed further, asking about her enrollment exam. Jenna's explanation only added to the mystery, leaving Shimin intrigued.
Shimin chuckled at the memory of her own enrollment test before sharing the name of her star, Moichi.
Jenna seemed taken aback by the revelation but quickly recovered. "That's great. You must be strong," she commented after a moment.
Shimin chuckled in response, downplaying her strength. "Yone has the most powerful star," she remarked sarcastically.
Jenna's next question caught Shimin off guard, revealing her knowledge of rare stars like Satar. Shimin was impressed by Jenna's insight, wondering which star she possessed.
As their conversation ended, Shimin couldn't shake the feeling of curiosity about Jenna's star, eager to uncover the truth behind its identity.

In the quiet, dimly lit streets of the early morning, a young girl named Lulu jogged along, her faithful puppy, Pelli, bounding joyfully at her side. As she passed by a bakery, the scent of freshly baked bread filled the air, prompting the friendly old baker to greet her.
"Good morning, Lulu! How are you today?" the old man called out with a warm smile as she trotted past.
Lulu halted in her tracks, turning to face the kindly baker with a bright grin. "I'm doing well, sir. And yourself?"
"I can't complain. Would you like some bread?" he offered, gesturing toward his shop.
Lulu's eyes lit up with excitement as she eagerly accepted his offer. "Yes, please!" she exclaimed, taking the bread from his outstretched hand and devouring it in a single bite. "Can I have one more?" she asked with a hopeful expression.
Chuckling at her enthusiasm, the old man disappeared into his shop, returning a moment later with another loaf of bread for her. "Here you go, my dear," he said, handing it to her with a smile.
"Thank you so much!" Lulu chirped happily, clutching the bread to her chest before continuing on her way. As she gazed up at the sky, she couldn't help but notice its strange, dusty hue.
Her musings were interrupted by a booming voice echoing from the street speakers, announcing the presence of dangerous creatures roaming the city streets. Lulu's heart skipped a beat as she listened to the urgent warning, her mind racing with fear and uncertainty.
Returning home, Lulu was greeted by the chaos of her disheveled living room. Despite the mess, she managed to find solace in the presence of her beloved Pelli, who nuzzled affectionately against her leg.
After tending to her dog, Lulu began preparing dinner, the rhythmic chopping of vegetables providing a comforting distraction from the events of the day. However, her peace was shattered by a loud crash outside her front door, sending her heart racing with fear.
Trembling with trepidation, Lulu cautiously approached the door, her instincts urging her to seek safety. With Pelli by her side, she retreated to her bedroom, huddling near the window as she awaited the intruders' arrival.
As the door creaked open, Lulu held her breath, her pulse pounding in her ears. Her only companion in this moment of terror was her faithful Pelli, who offered silent reassurance with a gentle pat of his paw.
When the intruders finally entered her home, Lulu's fear gave way to defiance as she confronted them with unwavering courage. Even in the face of danger, she refused to surrender the one thing that mattered most to her-her beloved pet, Pelli.
In a stunning twist, Pelli revealed his true nature, transforming into a pair of gloves that bestowed upon Lulu a newfound strength and resolve. With her trusty companion by her side, she faced down the monsters that threatened her home, refusing to back down in the face of adversity.
In the end, it was Lulu's indomitable spirit that prevailed, as she stood tall against the forces of darkness, her courage shining brightly in the darkest of times. And as the smoke cleared and the danger passed, she remained steadfast in her conviction, a beacon of hope in a world plagued by fear and uncertainty.

Sonomo's footsteps echoed through the empty school corridor as she hurried to her classroom. The morning light streamed in through the windows, casting long shadows across the polished floors. As she reached her destination, she spotted Jenna sitting alone at her desk, a faint smile on her face.
"Early to school?" Sonomo chirped, skipping over to her friend's side. Jenna greeted her with a nod, her expression polite but distant.
"Oh, come on, no need for formalities," Sonomo said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "How was your first day of school?"
Jenna's demeanor shifted as she began to recount her past experiences with new schools. Sonomo listened intently, her eyes widening with each tale of disaster and misfortune that befell Jenna on the first day of classes. It was a chilling catalogue of accidents and tragedies, each one more unsettling than the last.
As Jenna finished her recounting, Sonomo couldn't help but feel a shiver of unease run down her spine. What was she supposed to say to someone with such a streak of bad luck? Before she could find the right words, Jenna spoke again, her tone surprisingly light despite the grim nature of her stories.
"Hm. But nothing happened on the first day this time. Looks like my bad luck isn't rubbing off on others anymore," Jenna remarked with a small smile.
Relieved by Jenna's apparent optimism, Sonomo settled into her seat as the teacher entered the classroom and the lesson began.
***
The sudden blare of an announcement jolted Sonomo out of her reverie, her heart pounding in her chest as she listened to the urgent message. Without hesitation, she sprang into action, grabbing Jenna's wrist and pulling her towards the front gate.
As they joined the frantic rush of students fleeing the school, Sonomo couldn't shake the feeling of dread that washed over her. Jenna's casual demeanor belied the danger they faced, and Sonomo couldn't help but worry for her friend's safety.
***
Meanwhile, Shimin, Yone, and Kagaro moved swiftly through the chaos, their movements purposeful and determined. With practiced efficiency, they donned their JEO uniforms, preparing to confront the threat head-on.
"Yone, get Jenna," Shimin instructed, her voice steady despite the urgency of the situation.
As Yone disappeared into the crowd, Kagaro relayed orders over his earpiece, coordinating their response to the Jeneme threat. With tensions running high, they knew they had to act quickly to protect the students and faculty.
***
Back at the buses, Jenna ensured Sonomo's safety before rushing back into the fray to find her sister. As she disappeared into the school building, Sonomo watched her go, a mixture of fear and admiration swirling in her heart.
"Be safe, Jenna-san," Sonomo whispered, her words lost in the chaos of the evacuation.
Inside the school, Jenna made her way to her locker, her movements swift and purposeful. With practiced ease, she donned her JEO uniform, concealing her identity behind a mask and cloak.
"Agent Jenna. Ready?" Yone's voice broke through the tension, and Jenna nodded in response, her resolve steeling as she prepared to face the Jeneme threat head-on.
Together, they raced towards the back gate of the school, their hearts pounding in anticipation of the battle that lay ahead. As they reached their destination, they were met with a scene of chaos and destruction, Jenemes wreaking havoc with reckless abandon.
STAR MOICHI (TRUE FORM ABOVE)
AGE FOURTEEN
TEENAGE BOY
OWNER: SHIMIN JAIENTA
WEAPON TRANSFORMATION: GUNS
Amidst the chaos and destruction wrought by the Jenemes, Shimin's command sliced through the air like a razor-sharp blade. The silhouette of a young boy twisted and contorted, morphing seamlessly into the form of a deadly sniper rifle.
"Yone-senpai, Satar can turn into anything, right?" Jenna inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity as she observed the transformation.
Yone shook his head solemnly. "No," he replied, his gaze fixed on the unfolding scene before them.
"Satar, come out," he murmured, his tone tinged with an unusual undertone. There was no dramatic swipe of stars on his bandana, nor any tapping of fingers. Yet, Satar remained elusive, nowhere to be seen. Jenna's eyes scanned the surroundings until they settled on a playful figure perched atop a nearby telephone tower, merrily singing.
"Satar, come here," Yone gestured, his voice a mixture of command and familiarity. The figure leaped down gracefully, landing in front of them with a mischievous smile. With a swift transformation, she morphed into the shape of a blacksmith's hammer, her form glinting in the sunlight.
"A blacksmith's hammer?" Jenna questioned, her brow furrowed in confusion as she examined the unusual weapon in Yone's hand.
"She... is picky," Yone sighed, his expression betraying a hint of frustration at Satar's whimsical nature.
As the tension mounted, Kagaro's authoritative voice cut through the air, snapping everyone back to attention.
"Agent 67, Jenna. Use your star, now," he commanded, his words leaving no room for hesitation or doubt.
With a determined nod, Jenna focused her energy, calling forth the power of her star. In a shimmer of light, her star materialized before her, ready to join the fray against the encroaching threat of the Jenemes. As the battle raged on, Jenna's resolve hardened, her determination unwavering as she prepared to unleash the full might of her star's abilities against their monstrous foes.
STAR HIBIKI
AGE UNKNOWN
ENTITY UNKNOWN
OWNER: JENNA ORNARD
WEAPON TRANSFORMATION: SWORDS
Amidst the chaos and destruction wrought by the Jenemes, Jenna remained poised, her resolve unyielding despite the dire circumstances. With a nod, she initiated the sequence with her star, Hibiki.
"Hibiki-san, begin analysis," she commanded, her voice steady despite the chaos around them. In response, her shoulder badge emitted a brilliant glow, casting an ethereal light that faded to reveal a gladius resting in her hand.
"Analyze?" Shimin muttered, puzzled by Jenna's cryptic instructions.
Undeterred, Jenna leaped into action, positioning herself atop a nearby bus, her gladius raised in preparation. As the Jenemes turned their attention towards her, she tossed the weapon into the air, issuing her next command.
"Hibiki-san, slice them," she ordered, her voice carrying an authoritative tone that brooked no argument. With a swift and graceful motion, the gladius altered its trajectory, hurtling towards the monstrous creatures with deadly precision. The Jenemes, caught off guard by the unexpected attack, raised their massive hands in a feeble attempt to defend themselves. But it was too late. The gladius pierced through them with ease, leaving them buried beneath the earth as the ground caved in beneath their weight.
"They get back up," Shimin sighed, prepared to take charge alongside Yone and Kagaro if Jenna's efforts proved insufficient against the relentless onslaught of the Jenemes.
Undeterred, Jenna issued her next command without hesitation. "Analyse," she said, prompting Hibiki to transform once more, this time into a Flyssa. Kagaro watched on, his gaze fixed on Jenna with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.
With a swift motion, the Flyssa soared into the sky, its trajectory aimed directly at the Jenemes below. The impact was swift and devastating, sending the monstrous creatures sprawling as the force of the blow knocked them off their feet.
"J-Jenna-san, be careful, okay? We can't destroy government property," Shimin cautioned, her words tinged with concern for her teammate's safety.
"But I guess it's fine. We didn't really have to do anything much," Kagaro remarked, though his tone belied a hint of admiration for Jenna's prowess in battle.
As the battle drew to a close, Jenna's attention turned to her star, Hibiki. "You can go back if you want," she said, her voice tinged with gratitude for his assistance.
Hibiki, ever the dutiful companion, followed her as she conversed with her teammates, his demeanor polite and respectful. But Kagaro's curiosity soon got the better of him, prompting him to question Jenna about her unique relationship with her star.
"What the heck?! Call your star back. And tell me about the other stars he spoke of earlier," Kagaro demanded, his patience wearing thin as Jenna attempted to explain.
Jenna, however, remained resolute in her decision to grant Hibiki his freedom, refusing to break her promise to him despite Kagaro's insistence.
"The curse that binds the spirits as stars is no longer valid between me and Hibiki-san," Jenna explained, her voice tinged with regret for the burden she bore as a star bearer.
Kagaro's frustration grew as he struggled to comprehend Jenna's refusal to comply with his orders. But Hibiki's intervention prevented the situation from escalating further, as he stepped forward to defend his mistress against Kagaro's aggression.
"Excuse me, child. Please don't raise your voice against the mistress," Hibiki admonished, his tone firm but respectful as he stood his ground against Kagaro's tirade.
As tensions simmered, Jenna attempted to defuse the situation, urging Hibiki to return home while she addressed Kagaro's concerns. But Kagaro's insistence on learning more about Jenna's mysterious abilities only served to deepen the mystery surrounding her.
Despite Kagaro's probing questions, Jenna remained evasive, revealing little about her past or the true extent of her powers. And as Shimin and Yone looked on, they couldn't help but wonder about the enigmatic young woman who had been chosen by a star.
"Your father used to work in the states, is it?" Shimin ventured, hoping to glean some insight into Jenna's background.
But Jenna's response only served to deepen the mystery surrounding her origins, leaving her teammates more perplexed than ever.
"Jenna-san, there are just so many things we don't know about you," Shimin sighed, her frustration evident as she struggled to make sense of Jenna's cryptic answers.
As the group parted ways, each lost in their own thoughts, the enigma of Jenna and her connection to the stars lingered in the air, a puzzle waiting to be unraveled. And as they returned to their respective duties, they couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden beneath Jenna's calm exterior.

As Yone stepped into his home, a small metallic structure resembling a flying insect appeared, its miniature claws grabbing hold of his bag as he entered. Lights flickered to life, illuminating the interior of his bedroom as he made his way inside. With a sigh, he removed his shoes and dropped his bag to the floor, the metallic creature floating alongside him.
"Satar," Yone called out, his voice carrying a hint of reluctance.
In response, Satar materialized beside him, her form hovering in the air with a mischievous smirk playing on her lips.
"Ah, Yone. What is it? You never call me if it's not about work," she teased, her playful tone belying the seriousness of his inquiry.
Yone hesitated for a moment before speaking, his mind still reeling from the events of the day. "Satar, I have something to ask you."
"Hm? Go ahead," she replied, her curiosity piqued by his sudden seriousness.
"This person, Hibiki. Who is he?" Yone's voice was filled with genuine curiosity as he turned to face Satar.
Satar's demeanor shifted slightly, a hint of concern creeping into her expression. "H-Hibiki... where'd you hear his name from?" she asked, her tone betraying a sense of apprehension.
"You were there, weren't you? You can't see what's going on outside when you transform?" Yone's gaze drifted towards the window, his thoughts still consumed by the enigmatic figure of Hibiki.
"Yes, we can't. Only Hibiki-sama can," Satar explained, her voice tinged with a hint of regret.
"Why didn't you tell me? And anyway, aren't you the strongest star of all?" Yone pressed, his curiosity getting the better of him.
"Yes, the strongest and the only female star," Satar replied, her tone tinged with a hint of pride.
"But you can turn into god's weapons," Yone pointed out, his brow furrowing in thought.
"I can. And that's all I can do, Yone," Satar explained, her expression somber as she leaned closer to him.
"Yone, I can only turn into weapons the Greek and Roman gods hold. But that monster Hibiki, he just keeps evolving," she continued, her voice filled with a sense of unease.
Yone listened intently as Satar spoke, his gaze fixed on the darkening sky outside the window. "Is he the strongest star?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Strangely enough, Hibiki-sama was never the strongest. He was, in fact, the weakest star. Our world despised him. Only the god of stars saw him differently. The god of stars is the reason why Hibiki-sama was allowed in our world in the first place," Satar explained, her tone tinged with a mixture of awe and reverence.
"There is a world... of stars?" Yone asked, his eyes widening in disbelief.
"There is much you don't know about us, but what did you think? We are spirits floating around in space?" Satar teased, a playful smile gracing her lips.
"Huh... actually... yeah..." Yone admitted sheepishly, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
"You're unbelievable, Yone," Satar scoffed, turning to face him directly. She reached out, gently cupping his cheeks in her hands. "You want to know the reason why I chose you of all people out there?"
"No," Yone replied, his voice barely audible as he met Satar's gaze.
"Haha. This is just one of the many things I like about you, Yone," Satar chuckled, her tone warm and affectionate.
"Satar, I have heard your fantasies more than once. What I want to know about is... Hibiki," Yone interjected, his curiosity reignited by the mention of Hibiki's name.
"Aha ha. Well, straight to the point, I see," Satar remarked, her expression shifting to one of contemplation as she considered Yone's question.

Era of the horns
In the midst of a burning darkness, a female silhouette rose, her voice echoing with concern. "Master, angels are losing control again," she reported, her tone heavy with worry.
The figure addressed as the master acknowledged her words with a solemn nod. "Hm. Gods have given up on us as well," he remarked, his voice carrying a sense of resignation.
The female's anxiety grew palpable as she questioned their next course of action. "What do we do now? How do we fight them?" she asked, her words rushing out in a worried flurry.
With a calm demeanor, the master reassured her and the others gathered around him. "Don't worry. Each of you has played a significant role in your eras. You are all the lives of your eras. We can win this."
Concern creased the female's brow as she voiced her doubts about a particular individual. "But that rookie... seems like he knows not much," she expressed, her tone tinged with skepticism.
The master's attention shifted, curious about the newcomer mentioned. "Hm? You mean Hibiki? Protector of the galaxy's son? Him?" he inquired, seeking clarification.
"Yes, master. It's very unlikely for him to be this... weak... being the son of the galaxy protector and everything," the female replied, her uncertainty evident in her voice.
The master paused, contemplating the situation before responding. "Many of you have died deaths that you didn't deserve and come under my shelter. He is the same as you all. Please give him a chance," he urged, his voice carrying a note of compassion.
"But master-" the female began, only to be interrupted by his gentle yet firm insistence.
"Don't forget, Satar. You are the only one people trust here the most. My female child. That's why I expect you to trust me as well," he reminded her, his words resonating with authority and wisdom.
With a bow of acceptance, Satar acknowledged her master's guidance. "Yes, master," she replied, her voice reflecting a renewed sense of determination.
The present
Yone's house
Yone's fingers snapped in front of Satar's fading eyes, bringing her back from her drifting thoughts. As she refocused, her gaze fixed on the boy before her. "You are beautiful, Yone," she remarked, a hint of admiration in her tone.
Curious about her recent reverie, Yone inquired, "What were you thinking about?"
Satar took a moment to collect her thoughts before responding. "Yone, we have crossed a lot of eras and finally come to the era of humans. Don't make this any harder than it already is."
"Era of humans? What are you saying?" Yone questioned, puzzled by her cryptic words.
"Every era had humans in it, of course. But this era is specially termed as your era because humans are significantly stronger and smarter in this era. They can rule," Satar explained, her voice carrying a weight of significance.
Yone's confusion deepened. "What are you going on about?"
"Yone, why do you want to know about Hibiki-sama so much?" Satar pressed, seeking answers.
"Because one of the agents from our squad has been chosen by him," he revealed.
"What? No, that's impossible. Hibiki-sama took an oath that he will never let anyone order him around. He said he'll only ever bow to someone as strong as the gods. So then, how did a puny human manage to get hold of him?" Satar exclaimed, disbelief evident in her voice.
"Puny human? I'm a human too, you know, Satar. There are similar rumors about you as well. Only female star. Very picky. Won't bow to anyone. But look at you now-" Yone's words trailed off as Satar's anger flared.
"Yone! You know well why you were chosen. Don't make me repeat it!" Satar snapped, her grip tightening on his shoulders.
"S-Satar..." Yone stammered, taken aback by her sudden outburst. Sensing his discomfort, Satar released him, her expression softening with regret.
"I'm sorry. It's just that Hibiki-sama is not what you think he is. He is so indifferent and powerful that no one has ever managed to hold his star even for a second. They immediately get thrown away. No one is ever able to transform him. That is why, in all of history, all the eras so far, Hibiki is the only one who remained without an owner," Satar explained, her frustration palpable.
"Is? He has an owner now," Yone revealed.
"That is what is bothering me the most."
"Aren't you all residents of the same place? How come you don't know...?" Yone questioned, puzzled by the lack of information.
"It's been a hundred years since we last had our gathering," Satar explained.
"Hundred years is plenty of time for us. Hibiki has found an owner," Yone realized, his confusion deepening.
"What is this owner like?" she asked, eager for more details. Yone proceeded to recount everything he knew about Jenna, from her school entrance to her enrollment in the JEO and beyond.
"A teenage- a teenage girl? A puny girl who is always nervous? What are you even saying? Hibiki-sama's owner should be at least three hundred years older to you!" Satar exclaimed in disbelief.
"Are you making fun of my race? We humans don't live that long," Yone defended.
"Sorry... What is that monster's attitude towards her?" Satar inquired, her temper still simmering. Yone proceeded to narrate the events of the day, detailing Hibiki's behavior towards Jenna.
"That's... surreal. Yone, what if... this girl... is just like you?" Satar speculated, her thoughts racing with possibilities.

Era of the humans
"Master, we are here," bowed a boy to the mighty man in front of him, surrounded by a dim darkness.
"Welcome, my children. I hope you all are well today. This is the first time we have all met together after a hundred years. Let's celebrate and commemorate this occasion," declared the man, his voice resonating through the space. His words were met with thunderous clapping and the illumination of the surroundings, revealing the assembled masses in formal attire.
The god of stars made his way towards his throne and seated himself. Raising his glass, he gestured for others to do the same, and soon everyone in the hall was toasting to their long-awaited reunion.
"Hibiki-sama, how is your current owner? It seems to me like you are quite enjoying it," Moichi inquired, dressed in a formal black three-piece suit.
"Very much, Moichi-san. She is indeed a capable female," replied Hibiki, clinking glasses with him. His blue three-piece suit shimmered in the dim red light of the hall.
"My, my. If it isn't Hibiki-sama," chimed in a voice, its glass joining the others'.
"Aha. My, how you have grown, Anisol. How are you?" greeted Hibiki politely.
"My apologies to you, Hibiki-sama. My owner can be a little restless sometimes," Anisol bowed sincerely, wearing a yellow three-piece suit.
"That's alright. He seems to be in a rather tight spot," observed Hibiki, lifting Anisol up by his shoulders.
"You both have met before the gathering, I presume?" Moichi inquired, taking a sip from his glass.
Anisol nodded. "Sadly enough. I don't recall what occurred after I transformed. But I did find myself on the ground later on."
"Yes, it's a shame that we stars can't remember anything after we transform," agreed Moichi, a hint of bitterness in his tone.
"If it isn't Hibiki-sama. I thought you wouldn't come today," remarked a mischievous voice, signaling the arrival of another figure. She approached them, her heels echoing in the hall.

"Ah, my, my. Haibara. How have you shown up at the seventy-second star meeting?" Hibiki inquired, eyeing the newcomer as she twirled in her red slit gown.
"My contract with my owner broke. He wouldn't have let me leave if the contract was still in effect," Haibara explained, her voice tinged with a hint of mischief.
"It broke? Did he give in?" Hibiki pressed for more information, his interest piqued.
"No. Poor human died," Haibara replied solemnly, her demeanor shifting from playful to somber.
"Oh my. That's indeed tragic," chimed in another female voice, belonging to a figure who had just joined their conversation.

Amidst the grandeur of the seventy-second star meeting, the ethereal beings, each adorned in their unique attire, gathered in a vast hall illuminated by a soft, otherworldly glow. Their conversation ebbed and flowed, interspersed with laughter, solemn reflections, and the occasional playful banter.
"Ah, Lady Kaede. How are you?" Moichi bowed respectfully as the regal figure approached, her presence commanding attention. Kaede smiled warmly, acknowledging Moichi's greeting with grace as she raised his head.
"Moichi-san, I love your look today," she complimented him, her voice carrying a melodic quality.
"T-thank you, Lady Kaede," Moichi stammered in response, visibly flustered by her praise.
"Oh goodness me. Where are my manners? I am Kaede, ruler of the forests from the era of horns," she introduced herself, her aura radiating both elegance and authority.
"I'm Anisol, prison protector's guardian from the era of findings," Anisol introduced himself with a nod, his demeanor composed yet attentive.
"I am Moichi, weapon guardian from the era of findings," Moichi added, his voice resonating with a sense of duty.
"Hibiki from the era of gods," Hibiki stated simply, his presence exuding a quiet strength.
"I'm Haibara, messenger of the angels from the era of halos," Haibara announced, her tone carrying a hint of bitterness as she glanced around the gathering.
"I believe you all are the only ones with owners?" Kaede inquired, her gaze sweeping over the assembled spirits.
"Spirits are especially picky in this era. Because it's the era that is completely ruled by humans. And humans are, well, despicable," Moichi remarked, his tone tinged with disdain.
"Humans are the reason why our eras never lasted long enough," Haibara interjected, her expression reflecting a mix of frustration and resentment as she clenched her glass tightly.
"Now, now. Not all of them are bad," Hibiki interjected, offering a small smile as he attempted to diffuse the tension.
"Someone is in a good mood. Care to tell us, Hibiki-san, what causes you such happiness?" Kaede teased, her words accompanied by a playful flicker of her forked tongue.
"This is the first time Hibiki-sama has had an owner," Moichi explained, drawing attention to the significance of the moment.
"Oh? He or she must be the most powerful being of all. Or perhaps, is your contract with a monster?" Haibara quipped, her tone laced with sarcasm as she raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"Now, miss Haibara, why would you go and say something like that? Refrain from your shameless behavior in the star hall, please," a new arrival interjected, his authoritative presence commanding attention. Haibara bowed respectfully in response, acknowledging his reprimand with humility.

"It's alright, Hibiki-sama. How are you?" Mono turned towards Hibiki, his gaze warm and respectful, as he bowed slightly.
"Mono-sama, please do not treat me as such a respectful figure. After all, you are the one who convinced the entire star universe to accept me," Hibiki responded humbly. Mono smiled at the acknowledgment, a sense of pride evident in his expression.
The six spirits raised and clinked their glasses together, a gesture of camaraderie and celebration. As they began to enjoy the deep blue liquid filled with shimmering star-like structures, their revelry was interrupted by a mocking voice.
"Have you all forgotten me?" Satar walked in, her presence commanding attention. Immediately, the other spirits bowed to her, except for Hibiki, who helped himself to another sip from his glass, unfazed by her arrival.
"Lady Satar," Haibara stammered, her tone deferential as she lowered her head.
"We dare not forget you, Lady Satar," Kaede added, her words respectful but tinged with a hint of unease.
"Lady Satar, we did wait for you," Moichi began, but his words were swiftly cut off by Satar's dismissive retort.
"Do not speak to me, you filth. Stay with your head down. Know your place, you are but a mere guardian, Moichi."
Hibiki, witnessing Moichi's distress, intervened, urging for a more respectful interaction. "Is there a need to be so harsh towards them? We are both from the era of gods, Lady Satar. Let's act like mature individuals."
Sensing Hibiki's attempt to diffuse the tension, Moichi gained courage, standing upright beside him. Satar, however, remained defiant, asserting her superiority over the other spirits.
"Hibiki, do not tell me what to do. I am more than aware of my status and what I must do. These filthy stars are no match for me, and hence, they must not even dare to think of striking a conversation with me," Satar declared, her tone dripping with disdain.
Hibiki, unfazed by Satar's hostility, responded with calm assertiveness, challenging her arrogance. "In that case, my lovely lady, the god of stars must have a conversation with you. From your logic, his status is much higher than yours, and as per the same logic, you must not talk to me either. Rather, not even look me in the eye.
