This is my home. Berk. It's just a simple life, just an ordinary village in the Archipelagos. Or so you thought. 

For you see, in Berk, the inhabitants aren't just Vikings . There is something much more that no one has ever seen. 

That's right, the thing that I've been talking about is ... 

Dragons! 

For over centuries, our anstors thought that Dragons are ferocious , feared, and deadly creatures that every Viking intend to do was to kill in order to survive. 

That was how it used to be, as that everything had changed, thanks to one Viking, who did killed a dragon, which was a Night Fury and becomes one. 

He was the Dragon Prince, the legendary hero to the Dragons that been foretold and thus he defeated the Dragon Queen and stopped a war between the world of Dragons and Vikings alike. 

That Viking was no other than my own father, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. 

As much, as his son, I inherited that same abilities from him, as the Second Generation of the Dragon Prince. 

My name is Soren Rebellious Haddock, and this isn't my father's story, but it's mine. 

What you see is how my life has been turned around, by a simple decision that I wished that I could take back.
